    I just finished White Sand. Completely spoiler free impression (spoilered anyway): Admin's: I have no idea where the official spot for this is, so I'll just ask while I'm here: Would it be possible to join the Sand/Aether PM?

    Maybe she's just after a Type IV BioChromatic Entity? It doesn't necessarily have to be Nightblood. Someone might have made another one we don't know about? Tangential theory: the Shard did and misplaced it/it got stolen.

    Brandon announced on Twitter that he'll be visiting Australia June 2017. It makes me wonder whether he might be planning a release to occur shortly before that?

    Well, Ash is a dynamic object (it's expected to move), and as such, they're usually added last, after all the stable (non-movable) objects. So, as a work in progress, it looks awesome. Are you sure it's not just a fan produced work / a different non-Birthright game, though?

    Although, I'd argue even about classifying 'ancestor worship' or 'magic' as questionable. I see absolutely nothing wrong with reading about those 2 even exclusively. (This is coming from a determined atheist, however.)

    If you're thinking of adding a password lock, could you just ask Brandon to add it to the beginning/end of the Aether script, so that anyone who receives it will get it? Then you can announce it in the PM thread. The only people who wouldn't have access to it that have read it are people who have read it but haven't joined the thread yet, and there will be few enough of them that you can PM them with the password manually. I said Aether because the graphic novel makes it more difficult with Sand. I don't really know how that will work.

    So, for the fun of it, I was looking at Brandon's site through the Wayback Machine. And I found this. More specifically, in the early progress bars, at 50% of the prewriting, is... The Dark One. Does anyone else find it interesting that it's been in the works since the end of 2005? I'm going through posts before that date, to see if he says something about it. I'll post back here if he does. EDIT: I haven't found anything about the Dark One, but I have found two things similar to Sixth of the Dusk and Perfect State respectively, which I find interesting.

    Well, Scadrial humans were based off the Yolen humans. One assumes Roshar ones were also either based off the Roshar ones or else descendants of people from Yolen (which does a lot to explain the Tranquiline Halls mythos) What if the mistwraiths are also based off a Yolen race. Probably not dragons, because that's not what dragons look like, so maybe this third race the 'Shodel'. In which case, the Aimians could also be based off/are descendants of the Yolish Shodel.

    Sad about Fall 2017. Is that an "at the latest", or a "probably at this time" projection? I seem to recall his original "at the latest" date for Calamity being a fair bit later than the actual release date, so maybe there's a hope for it being more like Summer or maybe even late Spring 2017? And I just read that scene in the prose version for the first time yesterday. I'm about a quarter of the way through, and I am really excited for the graphic novel.

    Well, it should be fairly obvious whether or not you were reading a sequel. I mean, I remember picking up Infernal Devices (Book 3 of the Mortal Engines). Within about 2 pages, I realized it was a sequel and stopped reading. I got a couple spoilers from Book 2 from that, but not nearly as many as I otherwise would have. Did you know it was a sequel?

    I've just read the prologue of White Sand. (I wasn't going to, but after I finished Aether, I really wanted to discuss it, and the only thread is Aether + Sand.) A little cliche, similar to a situation in Aether, actually, but interesting none-the-less.

    Yeahhh... If you look at the end of this, I said I was going to get to it. I just got a little sidetracked. I'd had plans to basically outline big stuff in broad strokes, and then have examples of greater cosmere easter eggs in spoiler tags per novel. Nice theory. Now I need to get it together and write the thing.

    Yeah, but Mogget and Sabriel got kicked out in the first round because GoT has a bigger fanbase. Do... any non-Aussies know who Mogget and Sabriel are? (Beyond the one-liner about Garth Nix in Alcatraz?)

I'm sure about all of them to about 50, but after that I might have added one in.     Just watched 'The Castle' in Legal Studies. (An Australian comedy movie). There are so many highlights to that thing, I don't know where to begin.

    One quick question before I do it... What's a workout? Is that when you try to lift the complete works of Brandon Sanderson? Seriously however, I voted on the things I thought would genuinely inspire me to become physically healthy if I decided to download the app. As for what I use currently - laziness and procrastination. I am the ultimate expert in putting things I don't want to do off to another day.

    I second seventy-thousandth this. Having just binge read this in one go (while my English homework lies neglected in the background), I can honestly say that this is absolutely brilliant. Hope there isn't another year gap this time...
