  1. While it's against the very core of my being to force you to endure this, you'll need to go here for a full explanation.
  2. Just testing out for size.
  3. Upon reflection, I'm not surprised there's a whole website dedicated to Donald Trump limericks. There's a website for everything on the internet. Toupée or Not Toupée, that is the Question There once was a brash billionaire who couldn't afford decent hair. Vexed voters agreed: "We're a nation in need!" But toupée the price, do we dare? EDIT: And another one, because I'm in a good mood. Be Careful What We Wish For Picture Trump with the GOP nod. Yes I know that sounds terribly odd. But its base is bizarre, And he’s gotten this far… Plus his rivals are nearly as flawed. In theory, this might be a boon For the Democrats: "Clinton v. Loon!" There are risks though, galore: If George Bush could "Trump" Gore, Odds are strong we'd (s)elect this buffoon.

  5. Don't ask me why, but... Beefeater. As in the Buckingham Palace Guards.
  6. Princess and the Pea.
  7. Does it matter if it's over a body of water? The thing is, a giant stone is going to cause a massive shadow underneath it, and I don't wnat to upset whoever's land it is that's underneath. Doing it over a body of water (for reference, I was thinking of the bight to the East of Winter's), means that you're not throwing anybody's plans out. (Plus, you get a really awesome Bay in which it's basically night for nearly all the day, which has potential if anyone deliberately decides to build on that in the future.) In terms of the in-world explanation for your floating island, I have to ask - how turbulent is the island? And does it always stay in the same spot? If the answer is - not at all, then could you do something closer to Cloud City? If the answer to either is yes, then you'd need some form of divine intervention, I think.
  8. UCLA: University of California (Los Angeles). I believe it's considered quite prestigious.
  9. The most important question ever to be asked: Also, do we know Yolen by another name (definitely not asking this because I'm working on a theory).
  10. Thanks! That helps a lot. I've got a fair bit of outlining to do, but I intend to start in a couple months (though that might change if I think I'm ready early or if I need more time). In the meantime, I need to do a fair bit of outlining, planning, and getting things ready for the big opening. Needless to say, I am excited. If anyone is interested in helping out, feel free to PM me.
  11. It's a common psychological technique to test the sanity (or otherwise) of a patient. Also, it's a surprisingly fun game.
  12. I have this idea. I have no idea whether it will work, or whether it's been done before. Basically, I tell a story purely through the perspectives of a few characters that have their own social media profiles. I'll probably start with maybe 3-4 characters on one media platform, but I may well expand if it proves popular. I have a few ideas with plot and setting, but I'll leave that for when I actually start the project. Any help would be welcome, or general support, or even reasons it might not work in advance so I can fix all those big issues before I ever reach them. Any questions?
  13. Ah... Donald Trump. Possibly the most controversial person today. So, let's make fun of him! NOTE: No strong language or gore, although it is funnier if you've seen what it's satiring first. EDIT: Actually, if you want to avoid strong language, stay away from the Comments section. A massive flame war has started up.
  14. I think Delightful was ninja'd by TwiLyght, but I find it hilarious the mutual opposites the pictures produced.

  21. True. I guess that's the only way to find out for certain.
  22. Having read Aether of Night recently, I'm itching to discuss it. However I've heard that the White Sand and Aether discussions are on the same PM thread. I was wondering whether or not I was still able to get the prose version, just so I could read that and be able to join the thread without risk of spoilers.
