  1. So the first anime I watched was Rosario+Vampire( this was several years back when I didn't have very strict standards for my entertainment). It's a very raunchy anime, but it was really funny and enjoyable back then. I don't expect I'll ever rewatch it. I was really bored the other morning(I woke up at 5:30) and so I tried to find a manga app. I actually found one, and I started the R+V manga for some reason. It's not nearly as raunchy as the anime, which is excellent. I've been reading it really steadily, and it's been a lot of fun. It's a pitty the mangaka never finished the series.
  2. He gets a little better... But he's still probably not even as good as Ras Al'Ghul in Arrow season three who was my least favorite main villain before Legends.
  3. I finished Soul Music, and boy was that good! Probably my favorite Death book since Mort, although Hogfather was really good too. I'm about half way through Crucible of Gold, and it's improved quite a bit over the last Temeraire book. I'm also about a third of the way through listening to Dodger, a non-discworld Pratchett. There's a good chance I'll start Codex Alera book two this week.
  4. It looks like an interesting show, and one of my best friends really likes it, but like Argent, I don't have infinite time.
  5. I just watched Contact on Netflix. I think that if you liked the Religions thread on the shard, you'll find the strong science/faith themes really enjoyable. I think that those who enjoyed Interstellar would also enjoy it. I really liked it, but it was kinda long.
  6. I think that Legends might have the potential to be my favorite Arrowverse show, which is saying quite a bit really. It's generally been more fun than Flash lately, and I feel like it moves around better than Arrow. That being said, Legends is hovering right in between being really good, and being a sloppy mess. If they can keep the characters developing, avoid plot holes, and have the various loose threads resolve themselves by the end of the season, then it's going to be a kick chull show.
  7. Victus incarnate I'm totally lost with these non English words :/
  8. Huh...I mean I noticed that too, but didn't think about it that much. It is interesting though.
  9. Soul Music, the only book in the Death sub series of Discworld that I haven't read. I'll also be starting Temeraire book 7 soon. Also re reading the obscure manga, Hoshin Engi. Almost finished with a re listening of Raising Steam. I have about a hundred pages left in A Blink of the Screen. I'm going to listen to Dodger as soon as I finish Raising Steam. Yikes, I'm really on a Pratchett binge.
  10. I've played FF I,IV, VII, and VIII. I only finished IV and VII, the first was too hard and I couldn't get into eight or understand the combat system. I really love four, it's a fantastic game, a real gem in my opinion. Seven, well it was okay. It was fun, it was also slow and much in need of its HD remake.
  11. My dad read that book to me when I was little. I don't remember a lot, but they were fun then. I'm pretty sure they haven't held up that well, but I've never gotten around to a reread.
  12. I FINALLY finished Codex Alera book one. Only took me over a month. It was fine, I'll read the next one, I wasn't in love with it.
  13. Averted bazooka
  14. Purposes confounded
  15. The album Graceland. It's so good. Boy in the Bubble is probably my favorite individual song.
  16. Lightbringer, to me, is a lot like a superior Warbreaker. I couldn't finish the second book because he kept putting f-bombs in, and I have a limit of two per book. They really are good though, so if you don't mind the language then you should try them. The violence is a bit above Sanderson's levels, a tiny bit, pretty close to Brian McClellan's Powdermage books I think.
  17. For being a Wayne fan.
  18. Why would he tell us this? That was very free of him
  19. You'll notice more in later books, one of my favorites being a reference to Wheel of Time. I can't think of any others in Evil Librarians, good job
  20. I don't know if this is defined as the start of a bad day or not.....So I had to get up at 4 to go to work this morning, which means I only got 6.5 hours of sleep. There's also about an inch of ice and snow on the roads, but I got here okay. The nice thing is, none of the swimmers seem to be dedicated enough* cough* crazy enough*cough* to drive on the roads. Which means I just get to sit here and read the lifeguard manual and stuff.
  21. He once released three books in a epic fantasy series all in less than six months.
