  1. So I just got back from it, I'll post a fuller reaction later, but for now, I liked it a Lot more than Man of Steel.
  2. The Baron looked up from his telescope. "What the Braize is going on up there... It looks even more chaotic then the wars between Newcago and the Lords of Chaos."
  3. My boss got all of us senior lifeguards lockers! Isnide the guard room, away from all the other peoples. Excellent.
  4. I finished One Punch Man earlier this week. Holy setup for season two batman! Still, disregarding the heavy handed setup, that was a fantastic show. I adored pretty much the whole thing, and I can't wait to see where it continues.
  5. I agree, which sucks. Find the way to do it that's least painful for you, and then do it. That's my two bits anyway.
  6. Are there any updates on the Emperor's Soul film, or the cosmere cinematic universe?
  7. I think that he probably thinks about them quite differently, since there are many single fantasy worlds with multiple storylines that tie together, including Discworld, the Vlademir books by Mercedes Lackey, and Dragon Lance, and others. I assume that Sanderson is focusing on both the scale, and the huge level of planning that he's put into it, which as far as I know, no else has done.
  8. Trigun is a must, as it'll start moving you into, what I consider to be much higher quality shows. It's goofy like the first three you listed, but also has a ton of depth that I found lacking in the first three. It's not on netflix right now, but you should try to find it. Fullmetal Alchemist, or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood should be great for you. They're fantastic shows, and on most people's top ten list. They should both be on netflix, although Brotherhood is missing the final ten ish episodes for some reason. You're already watching Fate/Zero, so I can't recommend that, but I do love it. Ouran High Host Club is a great comedy, reverse harem, and might be a good way to expand your experience to the slice of life and comedy genres. Silver Spoon is an even funnier show, that is also( in my opinion) less shallow than Ouran. Again, aside from being a real fun show, it also gives you a taste of different genres which is very important. I'm not a fan of mecha anime generally, but one that I did like is called Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-Ne. You might like it, you might hate it, wouldn't blame you either way. Angel Beats is an amazing collision of several genres, and I really can't recommend it enough. Be warned, you will probably cry at least a little bit. This is one of the few shows that's ever actually touched my heart. It's not on netflix right now, but do yourself a favor and find a way to watch it. Hmmmm.... Since your new to anime, I really suggest to just keep trying different genres. Learn what you like and dislike about anime. It's a massive area of entertainment, so figuring out the kinds of things you like is immensely important I think. I haven't ever really watched any chick-flick/pure romance series, just out of lack of interest, so I don't know of any to tell you to try. Other than that, I think my list is pretty good, and most are on netflix.
  9. For being an amateur game designer.
  10. Sourcery, which is turning out to be a better Wizard's book than the other three I've read. Princess Resurection, a horror manga that I started ages back but never finished. D.Gray-Man, I'm rereading this so that I can catch up with the most recent volumes and maybe the new anime series that it supposed to come out. Then I've got these two books on audio that aren't keeping my attention very well, so I haven't gotten very far in either. Maybe once I'm not sick.
  11. Actually we have a thread for the entire Arrowverse, which includes Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. I've posted on there extensively, as I love all three shows.
  12. I was supposed to have a date today. It was gonna be the highlight of the past two weeks. I'm sick. I can't do it. Assuming I survived the drive, there's no way I would be able to hangout normally, and I really don't want to get her sick. STORM IT!!!!....today of all days...
  13. I'm a third of the way into One Punch Man, and gosh it's fantastic. I might like it even more than Samurai Flamenco, which One Punch reminds me of strongly.
  14. They're planning to, since it doesn't come out till this summer I think they're gonna wait a couple more months.
  15. Season two has most of my favorite sketches, although it's been a while since I've re watched any. I've barely kept up with this season, I haven't found them very clever and I've just been busy.
  16. So my friend is doing better, and I escaped doing anything too stupid I think. I was also super stressed out about dance class last night because I've been struggling with the material, but it went fine and I feel comfortable with it now. The bad news? Our family dog is sick. It was worst yesterday morning, since then he's been getting better. I still hate to see him sick, especially since he can't talk to us and explain how he's feeling and taking him to the vet is expensive enough that we really try not to take him.
  17. I finished Dodger, the first non-discworld book by Pratchett I've read. It was good, but not fantastic, much in the way Raising Steam was. Onwards to Sourcery!
  18. That's one of my worst nightmares. I've had dreams where that happens and I always wake up freaking out. I'm sorry you have to go through it for real
  19. My best friend is going through a break up, and it's really bad. I'm doing everything I can do to help and support her, but it's really hard. There's only so much I can do, and it's getting awkward because her parents really prefer me to the other guy. I don't want to make a move, it would just hurt her more. But it's gonna be So hard to be there for her without accidentally making some kind of screw up that makes it worse. Things should get better in a few weeks I guess, but it's not going to be fun getting through to there.
  20. M-air-ah-see
  21. Pretty nearly I think, at least assuming that we have the same meanings for those words hahaha.
  22. I think it's possible that if a light weaver with enough knowledge were on Scadrial and was able to draw in enough of preseveration's power through the mists, then they might possibly be able to make something Similar to lerssium. There's more to lerasium then just solidified preservation though, so I don't think they could make that.
  23. This has huge spoilers in the topic title, please change it so that those of us who haven't read it don't have anything spoiled.
