  1. I do remember seeing a percentage in the companion, but I didn't commit it to memory. Probably some searching online and through other forums will dig it up.
  2. I fixed it
  3. There were several games I was badly tempted to buy over the steam holiday sale, but in the end I didn't get anything. So right now, I'm finally getting back to Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast. It doesn't run as well as Academy, so it's a little frustrating. Maybe I'll replay Arkham City in a bit. Tales of Symphonia is coming to steam in about a month, so I'll probably replay that, see how nice it is compared to my old GameCube copy.
  4. So I finished Gardens of the Moon, and I did end up liking it. I'll continue the series, my local library doesn't have the next book so I'll have to wait till next trip to Columbus. In the mean time, I can start either the Black Prism, or Django Wexler's Shadow Campaigns trilogy. Any input on which I should start first?
  5. I think that since you're able to read straight through, without waiting for new releases, you should give it a shot. Maybe try audio books. I don't remember it being that bad, but I read them ridiculously quickly, so I don't remember much actually.
  6. Apparently building a flamethrower is.....
  7. That's what I figure. I'm cautious about judging this one negatively without the next two films.
  8. At least....that's what Shmee and Qui Gon seemed to say.
  9. I think that the above sums up my feelings on Rey's progression pretty well. I think she's going to be much stronger than Luke and Vader, and I think her growth rate is part of that. The possibility that she had been a youngling goes well too.
  10. So it's been quite a while, would anyone be interested in starting another game? Any ideas for the roster?
  11. Indeed! Probably the only thing worse is a tin foil cut. Or get a big slice with a knife or something else more violent.
  12. The problem being Earth again, but that bit in Children of the Mind does feel very realmatic.

They are very good. Very beautiful. The second book has a large section though that's.....somebody help me, I'm too exhausted at the moment to describe the Fellurian/Parts of Adem section.
  14. I'm listening to Temeraire book four on audio, and please fly surprised to have the same narrator that did Dune. I put down Malazan for about a week, but I'm coming back to GoM. I quite enjoyed a nonfiction collection by Malcolm Gladwell. I have the first book in the Black Prism and Django Wexler's trilgies on my shelf. I don't know much about them other than I've seen their names on the forums quite a bit. What kind of content levels should I expect from them?
  15. I was actually just looking at it this morning
  16. But isn't Edgli a male name?
  17. Storm it, I'm going to have to switch around in my head that endowment is male instead of female now....
  18. David Farlands Runelord series could be cosmere. I'd forgotten about it.
  19. Ahh, but after the "rescue" scene on Star Killer base, when Finn and Rey are running from the base back to the Han and Ben scene, Finn gives Rey his coat. She wears it for a couple minutes, but gives it back pretty quickly. So she is willing to accept chivalry sometimes That made me happy, because I like being the gentleman and "tough" girls drive me nuts when they fuss at me for holding a door or something.
  20. Most of L.E. Modesitt's fantasy series (Recluse, Imager, Corean, maybe Soprano Sorceress) could easily fit into the cosmere. In at least the first three, there's strong implications for extra terrestrials, especially Recluse and Corean that basically state it out right. The magic systems are also semi-hard to hard, which would fit right in.
  21. I've put a lot of time into both, and I prefer V (with expansions) as well. I hated the unit stacking in IV, and the trade routes and cultural victory are another two fantastic improvements. Vanilla V is probably worse than IV, but I bought V complete so I've never compared if that way.
  22. I've finished the main story line for Kingdoms of Amalur, so I'll probably put another few hours in doing other stuff and then move back to playing Civ V or something.
  23. I have a semi deep hatred towards SAO, and haven't heard of the other. Currently...well I'm waiting for Flash and Arrow to pick back up in January. Till then, I'm switching around between Gotham, Star Trek next gen, re watching West Wing, and just anything that strikes my fancy.v
  24. The prequel Imager series is actually very very good. It's actually all one tale, so it doesn't feel so bouncy like Recluse. The magic actually becomes both more mystical and physics based, which I thought was pretty cool.
