  1. Yeah, it is. Very. I've actually been becoming an extrovert over the past two years though, but it's really hard because I still have my introvert habits and reactions. It's really a weird feeling when the two conflict, kind of like when your head says you're craving something, but your stomach says it'd much rather eat something else.
  2. Well there's an underlying problem. The Discworld books really shouldn't be read by release order. There are about five or six different series in the Discworld, each with its own reaccuring characters, that often interact with one another. By starting with the first book, you're starting the arguably weakest of the subseries. Generally, starting with the Nightwatch series works better, the first of which is Guards! Guards!. The Truth and Going Postal are also good ones, both being more stand alone ish. They are comedic/satirical fantasy, much like Wayne from Mistborn, but not with the Epic feel of Mistborn. The discworld books are incredibly good though. If you're really looking for more serious fantasy, than no, they might not be up your alley. I do recommend trying them again anyway.
  3. Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn is a fantastic trilogy by Tad Williams.
  4. Ummm, why did my post get downvoted?
  5. ........I actually haven't liked her this season.....
  6. Yeah, it was my favorite of the lego games when I still played them. Excellent game. Also my ranking of the movies goes Crusade, Raiders, Doom.
  7. Just got Jingo from the library. It's the last of the Nightwatch books I haven't read I think, although I take such a haphazard approach to reading Pratchett that I might've missed another. Going to move on to either Solar Express by Modesitt or Thr Outstretched Shadow by Lackey and Mallory.
  8. Ooo, I'm really sorry, the easter egg in the Rosharan map has already been discovered and confirmed. The map is based off of a a kind of mathematical thing called a Julia Set. I don't understand it, but someone else will be on here soon who can explain it better.
  9. I just got back from seeing it, and I really enjoyed it. I've been a long time fan of the comics, they've helped me through my worst bouts of depression, and I thought the movie captured the spirit pretty well. Snoopy was marvoulsly done I though
  10. For a long time I did feel that way about Thea, yes. At some point, I flipped on it though, and I really actually loved her. She does still have some of the problems Laurel does, and I do notice, but I don't mind with her. I like how Holland does her character, while I don't like how Laurel's actress does her character. I think that's what it boils down to, specifically for those two. I also really enjoyed Thea and Roy in season three. I thought it worked well, and didn't feel ridiculous. I've been in mourning about Roy leaving honestly.
  11. Well, I can't speak for Supergirl, but there's already been a ton of crossovers with Arrow and Flash. Now the DC tv shows, and the DC movies have separate canon, so they won't have crossovers unlike Agents of Shield and the MCU, which kinda sucks. Maybe what you're thinking of? There's a lot of things about Laural that bug me. She's incredibly pouty, and I think this might be more the actress's fault than the writers. Her decisions a lot of the time are not thought out at all, which is odd for such a character who is supposed to be incredibly intelligent and an amazing lawyer. She can be very hypocritical, but freaks out when anyone else is. She tries occasionally to take other people into m ind, but it feels like most of her decisions are made mostly for selfish reasons. While she's obviously supposed to be a character with flaws, I don't really enjoy the flaws, don't agree with how she overcomes them, and can't stand her inconsistencies.
  12. This isn't okay. Did they not learn from the fourth movie that does not exist?! Why not make something with the same feel, but not actually Jones?
  13. Ugh!!! Laural.....why must you still be around? They're really stretching my capabilities of hating a character. I don't know if I've felt this way since Egwene. To say something positive, Constantine was pretty cool, and I'm liking this season's flashbacks.
  14. I now have Star Wars socks as a gift from mum. She rocks. I'm also very, very happy that she knows I'm too old for Star Wars underwear. Hype hype hype!!!!
  15. I choose to never look at it that way.
  16. I really enjoyed the episode, and the idea of Jay being a hero who lacks fiber. I honestly kind of hope that they don't do the cliche, "oh Barry, you inspire me, and now I'm gonna be super brave too!", because it's really interesting as it is. Harry 2, yeah, Cisco is right about him. Speaking of Cisco, he had an unnusually good episode. I like "Parry" but, I still don't really trust her. Loved Joe's reaction to Harry 2.
  17. I just got braces. Eating is so hard.....I think I'll just quit it. Nobody really needs to eat, right?.....
  18. Read a book by Mercedes lackey, Foundation. It was good. Got SoS on audio, so I'm getting that re read in. Started Dantes Inferno for school, it's good. Either going to read a Clarke or Lackey next.
  19. It's how I've always imagined it, really, really well done
  20. One of the members wrote an incredibly detailed, fascinating, and very long paper *cough* theory about it. I don't remember what the name of the thread was, so hopefully that sharder will see this and get the link for you.
  21. If you wanted to let him try Pratchett, I would read through it first, just to see if content levels are appropriate in your opinion. I don't know that the words would be too hard, but the humor probably would be.
  22. So really awesomely, my bunny ears are picking up CW right now, so I got to watch last night's episode. I had basically the same reaction as you, although I really loved the process of selecting Jax. I can't wait to see what the reveal is going to do to everybody. Is anybody else highly suspicious of Joe's new partner? (Can't remember her name at the moment) Almost caught up on Arrow. And I think I agree with everyone else's reactions to the new season as well
