  1. We went on a crusade once against a spambot, and one member actually asked deliberately for it, and beyond -100 I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything.
  2. Obi-Wan truly is great in the prequels. Mcgregor did a smash up job. And many of the lightsaber duels really were very good. Large portions of the plot, almost all of all three scripts, most of the characters, inconsisntencies in lore........it's just so bad..... Especially Attack of the Clones....... On the other hand, I did a rewatch of the original trilogy last week and I loved it. I'm tempted to change my ranking to Empire, New Hope, Jedi, but I'm not sure.
  3. Hufflepuffs over here! Although we can stand nearby to ya'll
  4. I actually ended up going with order. It's my preferred ideology, and things are really heating up to the west of me so I need the familiarity. I'm the strongest in tech and wealth as I should be, but my military amounts to two crossbowmen. I should be safe because there is a Lot of woods between me and the war mongers, and I get along okay with them, so by the time I need to worry I can build enough of an army to be okay. I just browse the steam workshop a lot. I can give you the names of some of my favorites to make it easier to find them if you'd like.
  5. The Southern Scadrians don't live at the equator, where in deed Brandon has confirmed it is too hot to live or even survive for long. They live at the south pole, just as the Final Empire is located on the north pole. While the climate of the south pole may be hotter than the north, it isn't like the Equatorial region and there's no reason for the Southern Scadrians not to be able to survive without living underground or with cadmium bubbles.
  6. Playing a game of Civ as Lord Vetinari of Ank-Morpork on a Wheel of Time map. I'm even in the plains area between Andor and the Borderlands, so it's pretty perfect. Liberty-Commercialism for the win baby! Haven't figured out whether autocracy or freedom would be a more suitable ideology.
  7. I know the feeling Twi :/ I've applied to a dozen places here with no luck, but other people walk in and out like its no biggie. I figure getting the door open might be the hardest part.
  8. The Gunsmoke Barony fully endorses the light alley and will provide doughnuts as a welcome gift.
  9. Congrats! I hope? Also, I read And Then There were none when I was 12-13, and yeah, totally freaky, but I loved it to death. Re-read it more than any other Christie book.
  10. I nominate babaji
  11. Yes, you can do so. I can't really think of a single reason why not to.
  12. Managed to have a blast at a dance tonight even with my legs after last night's run! Asked a girl out, hung with all my friends, did lots of cool stuff, just becoming more and more popular.
  13. I ran for 80 minutes this evening. That's quite a bit longer than I've ever gone before, and I could've kept going for longer but it was getting really dark and my sock was wet and creating a blister. I'm not even that tired right now. May or may not be able to walk tomorrow though.
  14. There's a limit to how many upvotes a member is allowed to give during a period of time( 24 hours?). For non-reckoner's r-player's it not really an issue, but they tend to reach the limit quite a bit.
  15. The best idea I've got is find someone to be super nervous, excited, and anxious with. Grab a sibling or friend and watch a movie. Play a boardgame. That kind of thing.
  16. If I'm remembering correctly, Frost is the dragon that Hoid writes to. Not exactly seeing, but he does write a response....so I can see Brandon counting it as the same.
  17. I'd love to be a colonist for a space colony! I don't think geographer'll be top of that list though...conflicting dreams guys....
  18. Finished Feet of Clay, hahaha beat you to it Going to really dig into my reread of Kekkaishi so that I'm ready for the final volumes when they get here. I've got a really busy weekend though so i might not get as far as I'd like.
  19. There was one show I watched a long time ago, called Canaan. It's....insanely dark. I wouldn't be able to watch it again, and I don't remember if it was even actually entertaining. There's Black Butler, the ending of which left me in a similar state as the one you described with Pandora Hearts. The Eden of the East show and sequel movies are very good, and have a good mix of darkness and fun. This is the anime I'm actually going to recommend. I really liked it, and it was really pretty deep.
  20. Placed an order for the following: The final two volumes of Kekkaishi Timegod Hammer of Darkness WoA HoA
  21. I'm really struggling with Reaperman. It's really more a Wizards boom than a Death one, and suffers because of it. I chugged through two hundred pages of Feet of Clay, the last night watch book I haven't read I think, and am quite enjoying returning to good old Sam and Carrot.
  22. Gonna throw out Magnussen, king of blackmail, from season three of Sherlock. *shivers*
  23. Yeah probably fewer cats, but I loved the stubbed toe one.
  24. Finished the Brightlord dlc for shadows of Mordor. It was a lot of fun and I loved the slight changes to the gameplay and how it totally changed the way I approached missions.
  25. The Piano Man by Billy Joel and Saint Elmo's Fire by John Parr. Again, and again, and again.
