Yup, that would be me! It's kind of surreal that someone would actually be my student and also be a 17th Sharder. I gave this out in 2014 and I thought it'd be amusing to give it out again. But yep, that's me. Apparently Brandon's supposed to be coming to Montana next year at Christopher Paolini's suggestion. He said this on Reddit, but we have no details quite yet, it seems. If you came to that, I'd definitely be there. When I taught precalculus, I gave a mixing problem where Kelsier was mixing some Allomancer's pewter. No one got the reference then, but when I gave this take-home in 2014 one person out of my two sections got it! This time slightly more have spotted the reference, so yay! And now for me to grade your quizzes

Hey King's Wit, I'm terribly sorry about the delay on this. I have approved this image. I also figured out why it required approval in the first place and turned off this restriction, which seemed to only affect the RP Art category. So this should not be an issue in the future. It should not have required approval, like any other gallery submission. Sorry

Unfortunately I don't have time to do so. I have a great deal on my plate. (If I had time to RP as well, I have a truly insane backlog on MBI before I could branch out into new things.) This looks fun, though, and so I hope everyone has a blast.

That's reasonable. I'll discuss this with some other staff. It probably won't be much after Arcanum Unbounded comes out, but I think that's a reasonable suggestion.

Hey guys, Normally we merge spoiler boards into the main forum (in this case, the Mistborn forum) at about nine months after release. We decided to wait to merge Shadows of Self, Bands, and Secret History's boards all at the same time. I probably should have done this last month, but anyway, sometime around this Friday to Sunday I'll remerge these boards into the Mistborn board. The reason we remove the spoiler boards is so we don't have ten thousand subforums as Brandon writes more and more stuff in the same worlds. It just ends up being chaotic. So after a certain period of time we say that the statute of limitations is over, and that if you hadn't cared enough to read Bands or Secret History by now... well, it's been a while. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that once those boards are remerged, you can discuss all those books within the Mistborn subforum and in Cosmere Theories and just assume people have read them. Let me know if you have questions.

We'll make a spoiler notice for Stormlight Archive to make this clear. It is a bit tough because sometimes you want to talk about Stormlight but using info from other books, so I can understand why there would be overlap. But we'll get it sorted, and post a spoiler notice, and for other things it probably will just be easier to post in Cosmere Theories.

Hey guys, I fixed it. If you received an error in the past five minutes it's probably because I was running a database repair script. I know on my end I got some timeouts when trying to load pages. But I can access profiles now. Let me know if you discover anything else that's wrong.

Something happened that made the server restart earlier. I'll investigate this.

We seek to be more than "Brandon's Theoryland". That is a component of things, but we strongly desire to be welcoming to all who wish to participate in Brandon's works. For RP, we have a lot of different RPs that occur in the role-playing section. But, for different titles/factions for you to represent... I think there's room for something like that here. I will admit to not really knowing the mechanics of tarvalon.net but I'd be interested in hearing about it and perhaps doing some of that cool stuff, where possible. Could you tell me specifically how it works there? Admittedly, for extensive RP stuff, I would like to keep it isolated in the RP forums, but different factions and having members choose to be in each faction could be a thing. It's a bit of a careful balance between discussion and silly, but we have plenty of threads where things get off track and that isn't a big deal at all. I think there's room to grow in such a manner.

It's on the table and will be back in solid soon(tm) fashion. So it will be coming back eventually.
