I'm retired. And busy trying to save Golarion, what are you doing >>

Hahahahaha, you bet half the players want to see you as elim so they'll definitely try to convert you xD

Sigh.

Quiet, RPful game :(

I'll go ahead and sign up. Since we are spren (possibly that come with names), I'm not sure it entirely makes sense to pick a RP character. In which case, I'll pick a character to RP as that doesn't make sense: I'll be Winnie the Pooh.

Signing up as Aizu, a grumpy voidspren who drinks tea and yells at everyone to get off his porch.

It doesn't have to make sense, y'all fight me.

Don't expect much thought or engagement or serious play from me my brain is still firmly on Wrath of the Righteous for which we blame Wyrm. And Hael.

Smh noooooo, think of it this way! You'd be such an obvious conversion that you won't be converted for the fear of being voted out!

This.

I'm just acknowledging before anyone @s me for it that I am aware Aizu is the name of a cute havoc dragon in Wrath of the Righteous which is probably why I have her on the brain right now.

Someone else has played this game? Wonderful :P

Embarrassingly, it turns out the dragon is named Aivu instead, but I'll live, Aizu is fine :P

When I pull Sja-anat, this sounds exactly like the kind of spren I want to help me out.

Your porch? It’s obviously my porch! Arenta is willing to back me up on this one.

Hey grandpa, I don't know what sort of uncivilised land you come from but this is my porch, and any unholy rent-seeking abomination can stay off!

@Ashbringer, what exactly are the wincons? Just the normal ones?

... did I really not put that in there?

Welp.

Village Wincon is kill all the Elims/Converted+Sja-anat. Elim wincon is to reach parity (not adjusted for vote manip, because that would be swingy and there's potentially several kills and RBs.)

MR53 Cycle 1: Age of Enlightenment

She could do it.

Sja-anat was sure of it. It had taken centuries to perfect the art of Enlightening a spren just enough to alter its perspective without affecting its appearance. Now, she could fool anyone. Even Odium. Even Mishram. Turning Odium toward a better cause was far beyond her abilities, but her fellow Unmade... that was possible. She would just need to -

Something happened. A distant thread snapped.

That wasn't good.

"The night comes swift... but something is swifter..."

"He was definitely changed by her," one of the Voidspren said, looking at their fallen compatriat. Zeigest had always been a strange one, but that had always been brushed aside as a quirk, something millennia on Braize had done to him. But that Investiture... something about it had reacted in a way that was too strange. And far too similar to Sja-anat's pets in Kholinar.

"We'll have to report this, you know that? She'll come for us," said the other Voidspren. "We're nothing compared to her."

The first one nodded. "Getting Odium's attention would take too long... but the other Unmade are faster to react. We go to them."

The Unmade could handle Sja-anat. There was eight of them and one of her. It wouldn't be a problem.

... right?

A few notes:

  • Sja-anat will start with 5 charges.
  • Unmade are still not necessarily included, same as the Regal Voidspren.
  • Win Conditions are: the Village wins if they eliminate Sja-anat and anyone she's Converted, the Elims win if they reach parity.
  • Officially the Village faction is the Loyal and the Elim faction is the Defector. (If you're not Sja-anat, you're a Villager. For now.)
  • PMs are closed this cycle, and any created by abilities will be done by me.
  • There is an execution this cycle - no vote minimum, randomized ties.
  • Order of Actions is Roleblocks-->Re-Shephir-->Protects/Vote Manips/PM Abilities-->NKs-->Conversions-->Scans
  • Don't forget about Death Rattles!
  • Have fun!

NOTE: the cycle will end Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 12:00 PST.

The Unmade claiming strat is a bad one since we have a good numberish of people. We shouldn’t do that, it’d do nothing but reveal to Sja who the Unmade are. Technically it would cut our suspect pool today but since it’s D1 and the effect wouldn’t be super helpful let’s just not :P

Since I am not Sja-anat I am playing for the village, but I’d like to make it clear I’d welcome a conversion :P It’d be pretty fun. But as of now I’m fully on team village, go Odium! Down with the defector(s)!

(Also, Ash, you can mark me in the player list as a random voidspren)

Okay first things is to avoid paranoia about Sja converting our top trusts. So in order to avoid this, we do not give trust reads at all. Or at least we just say who we think is village without assigning any importance to how trusted they are. This is to avoid the case where we might end up trusting a player and then have to worry about Sja Anat converting that player and then us being paranoid of a trusted player in case they aren't actually converted.

Another thing is quite meta which might devolve into IKYK situations. If we find one single elim, then we can actually kinda make a guess of who probably wanted them converted. Players close to each other, stuff like that. Now that I've said it, they might not use this tactic but still, IKYK :P. We need to remember that particular elim was converted for a reason and find that reason.

I'm traveling rn, not sure if there's internet to sent this post, but more in the morning.

Well, guess this makes 7 in a row :D. I'm going to vote for Kasimir, because if he doesn't die right away, I'm not sure that I could resist converting him. Definitely has nothing to do with me wanting his porch. Nope, this is a charitable act with only Kas's best interests in mind.

You can combine your two points as well for more fun- IKYK about converted trusts! :P Will Sja convert the top trusts because they're top trusts? Or will Sja know that we know they'll do that and so Sja will convert some other people?

Convenient, thought Aizu. Certainly saved them the trouble of bickering about whether or not they were going to have to identify someone suspicious among them.

'Course, he wasn't sure about that Winnie the Pooh lad. Seemed a mite out of place, and had threatened to put his grubby paws on Aizu's porch. Couldn't be having that now, could he?
