If I'm bussing, that means Striker's elim, so I'm happy with that. Although, if Striker is elim, I'm going to be somewhat suspicious of everyone who has accused me of bussing so far. Seems like an easy way to frame me given my reputation recently.

Given that Striker has no incentive to lie about this, I'll buy that the alleged wording is accurate, however, I'd still like @Sart to confirm or deny whether his previous statement that the Thief steal is always indistinguishable from the Revocation theft based on the GM PM message, or if there's wiggle room. (@Elandera because this is meta stuff)

Revocation and Thief would say that an item vanished. I would only say you gave an item if you submitted an action to give the item away. I will not say if I made a mistake last night, but if I did, I will have PM'd the relevant parties to get any mistakes resolved by the time this post goes up.

You can still share what action you may or may not have taken and the result of said action, but do not use the exact phrasing from the PM, especially to add validity to your claim.

So to recap:

-Ventyl took the clock (one-use item that makes the village Defence match the chalkling Strength) from Striker. Both were in the public sphere as potential elims. Ventyl claimed to have suspected Striker and wanted it out of their hands.

-When Striker learned of the theft, they correctly guessed who had done it. Ventyl confessed and announced their intention to use it that night. When told it was unnecessary, they offered to pass it.

-Devo confirmed Ventyl no longer has the clock. 

-They claim to have tried to pass it to Gears and been informed they actually passed it Stink. This wording should not have been used by the GM if that's the case. So either Sart mistyped, or Ventyl was lying poorly, not knowing the proper wording that would be used. 

-Sart confirmed the proper wording does not match what Ventyl says they got. "I will not say if I made a mistake last night, but if I did, I will have PM'd the relevant parties to get any mistakes resolved by the time this post goes up." That's well worded to give nothing away. 

Unfortunately, Devo told everyone that Ventyl lacked the clock before they committed to a story. As such, it is impossible to differentiate between Ventyl lying poorly and Sart mistyping the effect of Stink grabbing something on their way out the door. Ventyl will report that Sart issued a correction either way. As such, I am going to drop the entire issue and consider it NAI as not to delve too far into awkward meta. 

Flyingbooks, as far as I can tell, you could have submitted three NK's, every night except N3. And I can't ignore the coincidence that N3 is the night TUO said they forgot to submit an action.

If I was an elim, do you really think that I would have said that I did actions that (admittedly) make me look suspicious? I could have simply never said that I forgot to take an action during the night and people would have just assumed that I had simply failed to get an item. There are other alternative lies that I could tell (at least one of which would probably make an elim doing them seem more village), but I won't write them here in case I give the elims any ideas. Also, there's simply no motivation for an elim to lie about not doing an action even before they are asked, since that would make them seem more suspicious, while for a villager, it'd be good to be honest about past actions

Edited to add: To be more explicit, I feel like a lot of the flak TUO attracted on D4 boils down to a combination of: his previous reluctance to use the Map (can't be helped), forgetting an action, and that opportunistic vote after Striker's. And Illwei definitely forgot to put in any actions at all C1, so while it's suspicious, it's not impossible either...

Edited to add #2 because I keep getting distracted by the sunbird - the point being that both the opportunistic vote (talked to death) and the claim of forgetting were avoidable. Books being TUO's teammate seems like it would've allowed them to avoid one suspicion indicator on TUO. Strange they did not take it, if so.

So, someone has let me know that I retracted a vote on Gears that I never placed and never retracted my Ventyl vote.

For now, I'm going to vote on Araris. He put himself in a perfect position to control the village multiple times over the course of this game (setting up the defense plan, grabbing a lantern and now every other public lantern holder is dead), plus he's constantly gone back and forth on me and Gears. Granted, that second point basically describes myself, but at least when I write a post making Illwei seem suspicious, I don't at the end of it vote Mat instead.

Okay... My activity has dropped recently for whatever reason. But that's not important, and I need to get more active. I've got normal life going on as I'm writing this post so, it's not going to be the most well thought out.

So, first off @Kasimir I understand why you find me suspicious. My vote on Lotus was strange, but as I said in that post I was going to church camp for the weekend and I wanted to put something down before leaving. Also I get that you pointed out that I just restate reasoning. It's kind of hard for me to find stuff that people already didn't point out because I don't like accusing people, (So I don't really push very hard for my lynches) and I'm not that great at analising so I find it hard to bring up points that people already mentioned.

Now for some actual game related stuff instead of me saying I'm bad at this game. Now, I think, that Gears is just acting like Gears, so I relatively trust him. I think that Ventyl is weird, because he took the clock, and then kept insisting he would use it despite the fact we already had the defense of the camp covered. @Random Bystander I know you are new, but as you can see from what's happening with me, staying quiet isn't going to get you read as village. Hmm... I don't think @Lotus is saying much.

Yes, at first I was going to use it. Then when it was said that camp defense was covered, I changed my action to pass it Gears. You’re completely ignoring the fact that I listened when I was told I didn’t need to use the clock. It feels like you’re pushing for a mis-exe that’s essentially already been cleared up. Sart has resolved the issue, @Devotary of Spontaneity, scan Gears and you’ll see that he has the Clock now. Anyways, I’ll put my vote on Reading.
