In reality, it wouldn't be that hard for Aridith to discover what you'd done- he can just use the power of the blues he has under control to know exactly what escape plans Baalhan is making. He doesn't really mind- except that he doesn't want Baalhan to actually be released, because that would likely result in the destruction of the entire Outpost.

Quote Mere tampering will not render you impervious, generally speaking- you need some oomph to guard against the battering ram that is a holed's enthrallment. More likely she picked up a purple gemstone somewhere. "Dr. Larue," called the blue holed. "I believe we have something you want." The orange holed lifted Vapor up for emphasis. "Coincidentally, I believe that we want something that you have." He paused and waited expectantly for a reply. The scientist gave a humourless chuckle. "I suppose that's so," he said. "Very well. I can tell when I've been outmaneuvered." He pulls out a purple gemstone on a silver chain and tosses it to the blue, who deftly snatched it out of the air and held it up to his eye. He grinned. "This will be satisfactory," he said. Without another word, he turned and left, commanding T and Eric to follow. The orange dropped Vapor at her father's feet, gave a grunt, and turned to leave.
