While this was a nice piece of writing, you do know that Fadran just lost, don't you?

No, Baalhan said that he hasn't yielded, so he's technically still able to fight.

...right?

Queen was done watching Fadran be tortured. She found a way to throw barriers around her mind and Fadran's, so that no other mind readers would be able to see what she was doing. Drawing once more upon the friendship and memories she already had with Fadran, she pulled forth a wave larger and stronger than ever before. She immediately blacked out, but luckily, the enhancement was able to complete itself unnoticed.

Queen collapsed, her breathing shallow and slow, dangerously so. Tchanta tumbled out of her hat, scrambling onto Queen's chest. Her heartbeat was faint, barely noticeable even to Tchanta's sensitive paws. The mouse-like creature scurried onto Queen's forehead in order to be closer to her mind, making the communication easier.

Queen. Queen! QUEEN! Please wake up. Don't do this again. Tchanta spoke into Queen's thoughts, continuously trying to wake her, but nothing was working. Queen, you can't do this, they need you! Fadran's in danger! They need you to get out! Please, don't disappear again. Queen's eyelashes fluttered, then her breathing stopped completely. Tchanta rushed back to feel her heartbeat. It was still there, but growing even fainter by the second. Tchanta could do nothing. I'm sorry, my queen. I've failed you. I've failed you a thousand times, but when I needed to do better, I still failed. Curling up in the hollow between Queen's collarbones, Tchanta's light faded as the life left her queen.

A thunder clap fills the arena with a cacophony. The two fighters are separated by a wave of pure light. Without emotion Baalhan turns to Aridith. "Victory is yours."

So can I be a dragon? Sorry for being irritating.

Yay! And thank you!

Norie looked at the Chaos underneath her. She flapped violet wings and took more aerodynamic pose so she could fly down fast. The wind was blowing through her body and liven up her mind. Now it became her favorite part. She folded her wings, surrendering to the force of the wind and started falling. This freedom while being weightless was incredible.

Then suddenly, she stopped, with her win opened widely and landed gentle.

Norie changed into her human form quickly and ran to the man laying on the ground. She wasn’t sure if he is good, but he was injured, so it seemed wright to help him.

Halia sees one of the strangers fall beside her. Doing her best to stay composed, she rushes over. It was the one they call Queen. Halia kneels down and starts to access. Which Aon? Which Aon?

“Why aren’t you healing her? Ato asks

“I don’t know what part of her is injured, so I don’t know where to focus the healing!”

Halia quickly draws a basic Ien. The healing Aon, unfocused. Hoping that would buy her some time. Is it her lungs? Her heart? AHG is it her mind

As the power washed over him, he gasped. The pain was still there, but his strength had returned.

Queen. His mind decided to think. What did she just do?

He took one breath, then another. Each one shook him and shot pain through his body, but he took them anyways.

Clear you mind. Icona reminded him. Remember, there must be no thoughts from the outside.

The basics of Arcana; he remembered them well. Clearing his mind of the pain, he stretched out his fingers, summoning his Channelblade. The connection was weak, but real. Then, with a push of mental willpower, the blade shot into his hands, and he gasped as its power began fixing the bones that had apparently been broken. With another pained breath, he forced himself to his feet, leaning on his Channelblade and clutching his arm.

"I'm not dead... yet." He managed.

Seeing this, Fadran wasted no time. He pulled himself with a Spirit Bond to gravity into the viewing area, landing beside Queen.

With a frustrated determination, he tore off his goldminds and placed them on Queen. He placed his hand on her arm, trying to siphon his own Health compounds into her, but came up naught. The damage was not physical, but mental; from her soul, even. There was nothing his magic, as mortal as he was, could do.

His sword began to pulse with light.

Icona? He asks.

I can help her. Icona replies. I can... save her. You know I can.

But that would-- Fadran swallows, Icona, there's another way--

None that leave both you and her alive. Icona says with conviction. The Iconar Collective had been without a Prime Deity for a thousand years; they'll get over it.

won't get over it! Storms, Icona, I'm not trading friends.

My Spirit will live on. Icona replies. In you and this motley, ragtag, hopeless mishmash of loosely related entities.

Fadran sniffed, then nodded. Alright, then. He placed a finger on Queen's head, and then his Channelblade in her hand.

Answer me one thing before I go. Icona said. Was I... a good god?

The best.

Icona understood this, and with a deep breath of his own, emptied his Divinity into Queen. She started breathing, Tchanta moving again, as the Channelblade opened her soul to the powers of a god. At the same time, Icona's powers began to filter into everyone else, shattering the enthrallment on Eric, and healing Fadran's wounds from the duel.

One thing before I'm gone. Icona called. No breaking the fourth--

His voice was cut off, and the Prime Deity of the Iconar Collective was no more.

So I can assume that Icona is Fadran's sword, right? So what's his power, and how strong is it when It filters into everyone else?

Icona was connected to Fadran, using the sword as a conduit. The god himself was a deity chillin' in the heavens. His power is *vague magic* and it's pretty dang strong.

oh sweet, so can Mordred break the barrier between her and Harate??

No, because Harate's barrier became stronger by the same magic.

what if she wasn't focused on increasing the barrier strength, or what if mor uses her special power?? It makes her sword able to slice through anything *the sharp side, the flat side can deflect anything, when she uses it (It takes a lot of.. energy?.. to use, so she can't just go around doing that whenever

The spren scarf unravels into a puff of mist, swirling in the air.  Kindness's female form resolves out of it.  "Fadran, you're okay!"  She looks at Queen and cringes.  "Queen?"

"Ooh! That scarf just turned into some mist, and is talking! I think I'll take it when I leave!"

She captures the little hug spren in a trap-globe (just a thing I just made up, like a little energy cage)

no thanks

Mordred is so happy about her new little spren, that she forgets about being un-summoned and makes to escape

"What is this?"  Kindness asks.  "I'm a spren, not a scarf!"

One does not simply steal Kindness. This will basically make you an antagonist.

Well Heck! Mordred is an antagonist now.

"Uh, Fadran, you want to do something about this?"  Kindness asks, sitting cross-legged in the energy cage thing.  "I can't exactly pass through energy."  She pauses.  "And also this is kinda scary."

Fadran closes his eyes, seeking the power siphoned from Icona to him. He had never felt so... divine. He felt at his Bond to Kindness, calling to her Spirit. Then, with a cry of anger, he shatters the energy cage. The power within him darkened, but wasn't lost.

"Thank you!"  Kindness floats away from the dissipating energy, zipping back to the group.  She hugs Fadran.  "I'm glad you're okay!  And... did something happen?  you feel... different.  More powerful."

"You idiot!" Mordred slices her sword at Null, in a swift fashion
