Proof:

Two of them are associated with a Shard somehow (10 is Honor and 16 Preservation). 12 is obviously paired with a Shard we haven't directly seen yet. And all Shards are Adonalsium so they're all the same thing. So their numbers are the same thing too.

Additional evidence: they are all written the same way. 10, 10 and 10. (The first one in base twelve, the second one in base sixteen, the third one in base ten.)

Theory: Paul McCartney died in a car accident in the 60s and was replaced by a kandra.

Proof: they have the same personality and are equally annoying

Theory: Kaladin is a kandra and has been for the entire series but just hasn’t realized it yet.

Proof: Kaladin sounds kind of like KanPaar, who we haven’t seen in a while and could have moved to Roshar, where his memories were deleted and replaced by memories of a person named Tien who never existed.

Theory: Dilaf is a self-insert of Brandon.

Unprovable but very likely

Dalinar is actually Lopens lost arm, which grew a body.

Proof: How could Cultivation erase memories but only for a time??? It is much more plausible that she killed Dalinar, then nurtured the growth of Lopen's arm, and gave him Dalinar's identity and planted memories in his brain.

Theory: the survival Shard is the Mink.

proof: we don't know what or who it is.

theory: the "bread" of chouta is made of a mix of crem and investiture.

Proof: They both have shard in their names. That obviously means both have to be super sharp. And what’s super sharp? A blade!

Theory: Adonalsium was split because a bunch of different kids wanted to play with it at once.

Proof: Much of skyward is similar to stormlight archive, which has the shattered plains. However, the shattered plains are originally from dragonsteel, which is set on yolen.

Theory: Fleet is adonalsium.

Theory: Lift is the future vessel of the Shard of Pancakes.

Proof: While there are officially 10 types of pancakes in Yeddaw, one of them is imaginary, meaning that there are actually nine of them...just like the Unmade. Furthermore, when Lift eats a pancake and converts it into Lifelight, she is essentially Unmaking it, as she is changing it into Investiture that will serve her...just like Raboniel tries to do to the Sibling. Now, given that Lift is the only person in the entire Cosmere who can create Pancake Unmade, she must be the most Connected to the Intent of "Pancake", meaning that, when Odium inevitably splinters the Shard of Pancakes, it is pretty much guaranteed that Lift will Ascend to take this position.

Theory: The character "16", from Lasting Integrity, is Adonalsium in disguise.

Adonalsium was split into 16, but it turns out they meant this character, not 16 parts.

Kaladin is secretly a Skybreaker

Posted

Proof: He breaks people while in the sky.

Theory: Adolin lied about eating chicken for breakfast.

Posted

Proof: He also lied about having Evi's chain in his pocket, so he has an established history of deceit.

Theory: Elend was an Elantrian spy all along

I was scrolling through the first page and found this. Turns out some theories are right!

They are both crabs from Roshar. Also, have we ever seen a baby chasmfiend, or an old axehound? It's obviously because axehounds are actually chasmfiends larvae! Later in their life cycle, they go to the chasms, make themselves giga-cocoons and turn into the things we know as chasmfiends after a couple decades.

There is a high rate of losses among axehounds during the trip to the Shattered Plains, which is why there are more axehounds than chasmfiends on Roshar. Fortunately, the axehounds are fertile uner this form, making the survival of the species not a concern. (Shallan is wrong about the chasmfiend population fall, it's just because the war prevented the axehounds to hibernate properly.)

Theory: Syl is actually Ba-Ado-Mishram who got implemented false memories. After Die Hard, the next action movie remixed in SA will be Total Recall.

Posted

Proof: The last person she bonded with died. Who else do we know who died? Probably a lot of singers during the False Desolation.

Theory: Odiums champion will be Kelsier
