Does it really surprise you?  I mean he's been adding in all sorts of fun bits from the players.  I can't wait to see what happens next.

Be careful.  The post says or at least heavily implys that Clod goes to the second place bidder so if you go all out you might end up with a pair of eyes.

Not sure that's how it works, Asterion. My understanding is that the lifeless messenger goes to the person with the second highest bid.

@OrlokTsubodai, (in response to your question last cycle) I had no idea what you were talking about until I went back and looked. I must have missed that. I had seen that he had logged on a couple times and thought he was just lurking. Sorry Straw, I missed your post saying you would be away.

Also regarding orlok's post (cant auote it for some reason) you are right I misspoke , I meant to say that asterion isnt especially suspicious instead of " the most suspicious" but it is only day one so how certain can we be of anyone's alignment, and I still need to read over straw's lynching

Well, it looks like time has come to cast votes.

I've been thinking, and while I will probably have more to say later, for now, I think I'm most suspicious of Yitzi.

This is because in the early game, he made a remark that really made it look like he didn't know what the essence marks were, when everyone but two players recieved said marks. And one of those two is the big bad of this game. I have a feeling I know who the non-evil person is who didnt't get a mark (because the person in question has a spanreed and I have a PM with them), so if I'm right, that leaves Yitzi as an evil role. I will pull up the relevant quote later when I'm not in my phone, if nobody else does in the meantime.

I'll also do an RP later.

But now, goodnight everyone.

So anfter reading everything again (to all of my rl friend's contempt ) I will have to agree that it is certainly odd 

First off at page four straw said : <[Something important in RL is happening this week, so I won't be on the Shard until Saturday ]>

Then alvron voted straw cos "his name seems evil". But it apeared to be a pokevote

Then many people vote and unvote alvron and it is clear that the alvron lynch is not likely to happen 

Also cloud said what he said and got two votes because of it 

Then later at page 10 alvron makes a vote tally and reaffirms his vote saying that he hadnt replyed yet 

And @Araris Valerian votes straw for the same reason basicaly , lurking , (this apears to me as fishing for new targets I would love to hear your thought process)

Also cloud reaches 5votes and as a response joins the bandwagon understandably

And then in quick succession @Drake Marshall and @Clanky hopped on saying that theyd rather kill a lurker 

The oddest thing about this lynch is that all the votes apart from cloud's were due to straw's inactivity which he explained early on!! 

Well it isnt the weirdest of bandwagons but idlike to hear what the voters have to say and correct me if I made any mistakes, sorry but this is my first deep dive on a SE game

I'm still annoyed with how they day 1 voting turned out but if I had been a little more active then maybe I could've convinced everyone not to vote Straw....though I did push for a Manukos lynch and try to talk people out of a cloud one.. *shrugs

I'm starting to get a villagery sorta vibe from Manukos now though, but I need to go look back through the thread some more.

Also....I want the eyes of Aman so.....no auctioning higher than me 

I'll be back on later today when I'm less busy.

Really glad to see you do some analysis, Manukos. Following your analysis, are you now suspicious of any of the players involved in the lynch?

I thought I explained that last cycle I had no understanding of the actual goal behind this game. I didn't know what a blackout game was, and thought it meant the last man standing would win.

Heyo, bloodthirsty killers.  Just wanted to check in and let you know I'll be around helping out finally (give Ecth a huge round of applause for the setup he did here, though, amazing stuff).  I can try to answer questions perhaps, but I suspect most of those will be best left to him, but I will be keeping an eye on all of you.  Two, actually, as often as I can spare them.

EDIT: @OrlokTsubodai, as a kindness to the GMs, can you make sure your vote is a separate thing from any mentions in your post?  I'll count the vote on Araris there, but it's hard to notice when it's on the black background of a mention.

I do not have time to Ctrl-f through all your activity for guardian angel to see what you call it in past games, but I think this is rather incriminating. I know you could assume that there is a doctor, which is the argument you will use, but I see this as something against you. This in addition to you talking about Odium as a role, when that had not been put forward already in-thread. These two stand against you. The argument that is probably the most effective is you "assume" or something. I say you are our best lynch target right now, if I am wrong then we are in pretty much the same position, with a villager or two down, but if my gut and my brain read right...

(This may seem like a lot of unfounded stuff, but he is probably the most suspicious, and if my gut were in charge he would already be strung up.)

Whilst it is suspicious, the doctor is more likely to be a village role than an eliminator role, if it exists. Knowledge of it isn't something that's likely to come from knowledge as an eliminator, but from PM contacts. Before we rush to judgement, I'd like to hear from Asterion.

I doubt even that "doctor" is a wording that would come up in an SE game. Surgeon, maybe, from Stormlight, or Lurcher, from Mistborn, but the word doctor doesn't show up in Sanderson's works frequently or even at all to the best of my knowledge.

Yes it is going to be village, which is why elim=aster would want him dead. I do not think that the doctor would really reveal them self PM's, but I think that it would come from Ecth telling them in the elim doc.

Given how little information Ecthelion has revealed so far, that seems to me to be quite the stretch to make. In my mind, it's far more plausible to have been something revealed in PMs, given the lack of PM safety that now seems to be prevalent. At the very least, that's a scenario that doesn't rely on assuming GM intervention.
