So. We got to the hotel. And got lunch. We all quickly discovered that Cali has no good food.

I went with a friend to get room keys. They told us 2:00. 2:00 rolled around. They told us to wait 30 minutes. 2:30 rolled around. They told us to wait an hour.

And so, about ten minutes ago at 5:30, we finally got our room key.

Also ten or twelve people lost luggage. Not pleased.

I was asked a question in the previous thread and thought I'd just answer it here:

Homeschooling? I see way too much of my parents while I'm at home as it is...

If I were homeschooled... I would probably try to jump off a bridge before 2 weeks were out.

If it's not too personal, is there a particular reason why? If you don't want to answer that's OK.

Oh yeah. I spend about 23 hours at home on a normal day.

I was pulled out of school halfway through 2nd grade for a variety of reasons. One of them was that I was in the gifted program, but the gifted class was at the same time as my math class and I was expected to do all of the stuff for math, but they didn't teach me anything on how to do it.

Another reason was that my mom had just bought a book on homeschooling and wanted to try it.

Sometimes I wish I could have just finished the grade, but overall I've been pretty happy with my education.

I've been doing it for 7 years now. Why stop?

I use Photobucket.  It loads slow, but works well enough for forum posting purposes.

I tried using that and I liked the way it lets you upload multiple images at once, but after one use it started giving me error messages and not uploading anything. Do you have to make an account for it to work?

No, that shouldnt happen, I use imgur without an account.

 

The problem with imgur is that you can very easily end up distracted from what you were going to do.
