TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her
Unless he'd bonded her, Adolin wouldn't actually be able to hurt Syl, but then again, Syl isn't really capable of much on her own. I'm not voting for this one. I'm calling a draw.
Alfa he/him
Syl, of course. Adolin can't do anything to her and she can play typical Windspren-jokes with him untill he surrenders.
Unodus he/him
On the basis that Syl needs Kaladin to be "alive", I'll vote for Adolin on the basis that vasher & nightblood were considered separate because they were both contestants. ostrichofevil he/him
Syl. I hate how we have really powerful people against each other. The seeding could have been better.
Mailliw73 he/him
Adolin's really cool, and against a lot of other contestants, I'd pick him. But with Syl too, I think I have to go with her.
the winter system
Syl. Because she's awesome.
DreamEternal
Adolin. Syl annoys me sometimes. But at least it clearly isn't a match to the death, since they don't have neither the reasons or the means to do that.
A Joe in the Bush
I, don't actually care this time. I mean, both are ok, but neither have any emotional pull for me. so I guess I'll abstain.

Alvron he/him
Syl. Adolin would likely surrender once he found out who his opponent is.

"Yes, Renarin, what is it?" "You know all of those things you do before duels for good luck?" "I did them all. Don't worry." "I think you should add one today." "Renarin, the duel's about to start." "Just take out your shoelaces." "…what?" "Your shoelaces. Don't wear them, okay?" "…." "Trust me on this."
Newan he/him
I love Syl's chemistry with Kaladin, but Adolin has grown on me as a character. I'm excited to see what happens to Adolin. I think as could go either way. Is he going to be a Releaser? Is he going to be Odium's Champion? Who can say? Also, I like the combat aspects to these discussions, and Syl can't really fight. I'm fond of her, but I'm fond of many Sanderson characters and I don't think she's especially interesting in a tournament.
Moonskin she/her
I vote for Adolin for the same reason. Syl would make sense in a popularity contest, but Adolin is much more interesting for a tournamen in my opinion.
Patar he/him
Sorry for the late update! Syl managed to hold onto the win by one vote. Next up is Kaladin, a powerful Windrunner, against Megean/Firefight (haven't read Reckoners yet, so I'm not going to vote).

Alfa he/him
Hm. Kaladin. She has almost no real combat skills.Reckoners Spoiler Megan is almost immortal, but this is not the point, because Kaladin could defeat her and go his way to the next duel, she can be reborn from light as often as she wants. Illusions are nice, but they can't harm him.Oh, and Twi, I thought Megans almost-omnipotence-powers are only a side effect of her rebirth Edited October 11, 2015 by Alfa

I knew her nigh-OP-ness at the end wasn't permanent. I only asked because if this was corrupted!Firefight, said corruption would impact the duel as it went on. After Firefight, it wouldn't matter. ostrichofevil he/him
Kaladin. (Who else really wants Wayne to win this? ) Edited October 11, 2015 by ostrichofevil
Mailliw73 he/him
Kaladin, for sure. I feel bad always voting against the Reckoners, but they just got thrown in against more of my favorite characters.
Alvron he/him
Kaladin. Sure Megan has her gun and illusion/<Redacted> skills but I don't see them making enough of a difference against a Windrunner who can heal anything short of a fatal wound. A Joe in the Bush
Megan would win in a fight due to her Prime invincibility, But Kaladin is cooler.
Curiosity he/him
Kaladin deserves a break. I'm voting Megan.
Moonskin she/her
Bouhouh, no Adolin for the next round, I am sadness I vote for Kaladin, I think that his powers would be superior in a figth.

Patar he/him
And Kaladin defeats Firefight easily! Up next is Marsh vs. Joel. I really want to vote for Marsh, but as i have yet to read the Rithmatist (I think that is what he is from) I don't want to be biased. I will abstain again.
