Miles inly has to hit once or twice with his guns. And I don't remember any of them disliking people with similar agendas or personalities. Actualy, I think they would get along rather well if they managed to talk a bit before shooting.

True and Milles has aluminium guns, which messes quite a bit with Kelsier's speciality and more importantly bypasses Atium. So if it comes to an actual fight my money goes to Milles. I'd have to agree with that. There is a reason the book compares the two after all.
Alfa he/him Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 How to get Miles' Guns? Just shoot coins precise enough on them. Wax did something similar on occasions, IIRC. Then jump around and rip with your Pewterstength gold from MIles. He is not very fast.

Mailliw73 he/him Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 They're very similar in personality, but a full Mistborn who planned and executed(mostly) to topple a thousand-year Empire versus a twin born ex-lawman? Kelsier for sure. Double-gold does give Miles a boost, but a full Mistborn can beat him, I'd wager. Plus, Kell's cooler.

Mailliw73 he/him Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I think a lot of it depends on the era. If each is fighting from their own era, the guns will take down Kell. If they're both in FE times or both in AoL times, I give it to Kell. The man can do crazy things with bullets, I'd bet.

At the point where Miles exists, Mistborn are pretty much a legend, whereas Kelsier manages to kill an inquisitor. Also, if this happens in Miles' time, Kelsier will also have bendalloy, duralumin, and whatever else they found that escapes me at the moment. Kelsier is in an entirely different power bracket from Miles. Even if he didn't kill Miles, he could probably just pin him to a wall with a bunch of metal rods. I don't really care. If they were to team up they would likely just roll over the rest making the competition pointless. I vote for Miles. Even with all of Kelsier's abilities he wouldn't be able to take down Miles. Miles has his guns but is also one of the best knife fighters of his time so long range or hand to hand Miles has the advantage thanks to his healing. Eventually Kelsier's metals will run out allowing Miles to win.

I doubt he's stupid enough to embed his metalminds on just his limbs, so he can even just tear his arms off. The actual impalement already does nothing.

He has at the very least enough random metal in him to survive being shot several times even after being disarmed of whatever obvious metalminds he has, so yes simply ripping of the goldminds he has on his arms wouldn't finish the job.
