Nope not a elantrian :(

...

Also when you draw the random Aon Daa in the face of your enemies

When literally every song you listen to makes you think of a Cosmere character no matter how far you have to stretch to make it work.

When you have to explain to everyone in your English class what chulls are.

When you have to relate everything to something in Brandon's books. (Oh my Shards, this scarf is like mist! Look, that dress could be a havah! Spook would hate streetlamps. I wonder what Kell and the crew would do at a beach... That symbol could almost be an Aon. If you changed that person's nose and eyes and mouth shape just a tiny bit and made their lips just a tiiiiiiny bit different, they could look like                 !)

EDIT: Also, this happened in Materials Science (we were playing with shrinky dinks)

When you feel personally offended during the following experience:

Your brother, who has read, and hence loved, Mistborn asks for the title of “the next Brandon trilogy,” by which he means Stormlight. So I tell him, and then launch into an explanation of the series (because I want him to have realistic expectations-it being larger and longer than he has read and that 3 of 10 are writte ). I talk about the two five-book story arcs, and then mention that each book is essentially a trilogy and a novella and my sister who was sitting nearby started laughing. And now she is telling each member of my family this while laughing. She thinks I’m making it up. So I told her this is like his big epic fantasy, something he didn’t know if he’d ever publish because he didn’t know if anyone would want to read it (I thought I’d read he said something like that). And she said, “and no one is reading it.” And I said “everyone is reading it.” And that made her laugh more. And I’m feeling personally offended, but also defensive about Brandon and his awesomeness.

Currently, the only redeeming quality of my sister is that she’s on page 150 of Mistborn.

...I am offend!

This is awesome. I actually love decorating cakes and cookies and a few of my future ideas are me totally being a Sanderfan and having the design being inspired by his books and the artwork. When I do them, I’ll for sure post them in the Fan Art section.

wait, are you the alternate David that Megan used to save them from having to decorate those cupcakes?

How... How do...

Never mind. I never have figured out how the grammar structure works.

When, in the middle of a perfectly normal English class, you suddenly squeal in joy and startle everyone around you. (The progress bar moved to 25%)

When (pause) okay, a little background. My mom always wants to get out of the car immediately when we arrive somewhere, even when a really awesome song comes on. Her excuse is "You'll hear it again later!" Neither my sister or I like it. (play) your main objection to turning off awesome songs is the First Ideal. (I mean, yeah, I'll probably hear it again, but never in this specific moment, and also, what if like the world ends or something? Then I would be forever waiting to hear that song again.)

When you try to teach yourself to cuss more like the various characters throughout Sanderson's books. I am currently calling everyone a "Scudding Cremling" because to me it's pretty great. (If anyone has any suggestions for the phrase "For goodness' sake" I would love to hear them, I've been pondering it for a couple days now)

When you buy a kindle purely for the purpose of reading Stormlight so it doesn't take up all the space in your bag.

I don't think there is a grammar system. The point is to be wonky, right? And in my experience, most of the meaning is derived from the way you say phrases; where the emphasis is and what not. As for how I do it, well... See, when I talk in it for a while (either to annoy people, impress people, or have fun) my brain will automatically think what I should say next in it. It's kinda fun, but it makes it hard to switch from one dialect to the other.

Ah, I do this way too much. I really like Kelsier so most of my curses circle around him, but I'm not above a "storms" (or a "What on Braize?") every once in a while. As for your "for goodness' sake" stand-in, I would suggest using a favorite character, but really you could do anything.

For Hoid's Sake!

and the kindle idea I did too. SO MUCH BETTER than carrying around a book the size of the dictionary. But then people don't ask why you're reading a book that big.

a) Yesss I love that! I'm totally using it.

b) It's actually bigger than a lot of pocket dictionaries I've seen...

c) One of the pest parts of WoK. People ask how the storms a book can be so big, and you get to explain it and (hopefully) convert them!
