  1. "A lifetime supply of donuts?" The Nightwatcher says to you, "In my millennia of granting these boons, never before have I been asked for a lifetime supply of donuts. You would think that it would eventually come up, you know? But I guess not... not until NOW". Upon hearing that final word, you wake up from a deep sleep. it appears that you are intact, body-wise. Nothing has happened...yet. As you regain your wits, you try to determine two things. The first thing that crosses through your head is where are the donuts I asked for? The second thing, of course, is what was my bane? Those two questions combined make you think. You rack your brain for the exact words you asked the Nightwatcher. I wish for a lifetime supply of donuts. You recall this, but immediately, you see where you went wrong. You never specifically said WHERE your lifetime supply would appear. Now that you think about it, you also think of another thing. You never specifically said what species' lifetime you wanted a supply of donuts of. Then it hits you. You try to force yourself out the door of your place of living, but it's forced shut. This can't be, you wonder as you suddenly notice a few cracks on the ceiling that DEFINITELY were not there before. Those cracks widen slowly as you realize the answers to your first (and soon-to-be-last) questions upon waking up. You are crushed under millions of donuts, as the Nightwatcher has given you a lifetime supply of donuts fit only for the Methuselah pine, which is now at 4,853 years of age. Not only that, she has placed your lifetime supply of millions of donuts right on top of your place of living, crushing you into a delicious grave. I wish for there to be such a thing as a free lunch.
  2. Your wish has been granted. Your pet dragon is an old, wise beast. Although short in stature, it has weathered the countless (well technically you can count them but that's less poetic) eons of the universe's existence, and perhaps even more than that. The dragon has seven heads, and six eyes on each head. Its mouths whisper secrets that were never meant to be uttered, never meant to be heard again. This demonic beast comes yet closer to you. Being your pet, it would never harm you, at least, on purpose. The dragon reads your thoughts, senses your confusion, your horror, your grief, and your fear. But most of all, the unholy beast senses your unbridled curiosity. About it, and the universe. As it comes yet closer again, it whispers something into your ear. One single phrase. You recoil in horror, disgust, anger, and joy at the same time. Your unholy demon-dragon has told you the final secret the universe holds. Your life has been fulfilled. You know all, or at least enough. Knowing this, the sheer power of this final secret whispered to you causes your heart to stop, and your brain to drift into a coma. As you take your last breath, you ruminate on those three simple words the dragon-beast uttered: 'McRib is back'. I wish for a gaming chair that is cool and not lame
  3. I saw a couple posts on allomantic FTL and got thinking about other planets, like Roshar. If stormlight powers fabrials, could Roshar develop a sort of piping system that carries stormlight, like wires do electricity? The only thing that gets me hung up on this is if the stormlight could move through the piping efficiently. I was thinking a sort of gemstone tube, that could carry stormlight to destinations. If anyone has any ideas about this, feel free to comment.
  4. could ettmetal possibly fit into all of this? could the aforementioned alcubierre drive be created with an ettmetal machine of sorts, or would it run out of charge early, like we see the ettmetal machine do in the bands of mourning?
  5. Mistborn Secret history and ending spoilers
  6. After a quick google, the Nightwatcher is still a little perplexed because she has never watched anime, much less the obscure RWBY. She goes with speed. giving you this weird speed power and a free power of your choosing. Just kidding, you are a cadmium misting. you can't stop burning cadmium too I wish to grant BoS' wish
  7. A decent one? I mean the Nightwatcher can't do everything, and even she has her limits. Instead, the IRS gets an eye of Mordor to find 'money launderers' when they really are trying to find the one ring to bring to their dark lord John Kosikin so they can go invisible and sneak into peoples houses to foreclose sneakily them instead of using their slave-drawn sleds to make sure everyone knows that the IRS is annihilating this man/woman's finances. I wish @Eluvianii would properly understand natural selection.
  8. Which one? You get to swim in the newest pool I guess. I wish I wasn't a chicken
  9. Yea, on Brandon Sanderson's website. You go to books and click 'Warbreaker' then click the one that says 'read online'. Granted. The money was ill-gotten, and since The IRS doesn't show any semblance of humanity, they will totally find you with their demon eyes. I wish to avert my delicious wing-sauce related fate
  10. Yes. Aren't the gemhearts how they adopt forms?
  11. Actually, even the allomantic metals have to be the correct alloy and composition, or else they have a possibility of not burning. Like an alternate version of pewter that uses silver instead of lead, like most modern pewter. And since lead is not an allomantically burnable metal, it would have to sit in the stomach. Even though something like pewter contains lead, it is a different metal at the point where a misting/mistborn swallows it.
  12. Granted. You get the privilege of your local bookstore now selling Warbreaker, even though it's free. I wish that I had an unlimited supply of wing sauce
  13. Gewährt. die boons/banes müssen jedoch in deutsch sein. Ich wünschte, diese Gänse würden mich nicht so sehr erschrecken
  14. an interesting thing I found out: Scadrial's number system (the metallic symbols before every chapter) are comprised of a base 16 number system in era 2 since they have discovered all conventional/misting metals.
  15. Well since tomorrow already happened, we can't help you. The nightwatcher instead hopes you slept in since she can't do anything about it. I wish to get this thread started again.
