Being a Pulser would make it so that everyone else went faster, so when you drop the bubble, more time had passed. Mehen you wish you were a Pulser savant so you could get back to school faster... Wayne is a Slider, he burns bendalloy, making everyone else slower in comparison to him, making him faster. Marasi, on the other hand is a Pulser. When you have a dream about reading Stormlight 4, but the story doesn't sound like actual Stormlight and you just roll with it because it could just be an interlude. 3

I feel like we'll see what happened to make her an orphan, but I personally don't think her father is simply off hiding somewhere or will be that important. I could be wrong though.
