i have absolutely killed my 3 finals today. 3 more tomorrow.

I was able to do a gymnastics skill that I wasn't able to do while I was actually doing gymnastics due to bad coaching and injuries caused by bad coaching. I have since gotten treatment and now I can do the stuff I was super disappointed in myself for not being able to do and it's just been extremely vindicating.

For context, I injured my back super bad a few years ago and have not really been able to do sports since. 

Anyway, it's just very nice.

It‘s still almost a year away, but when it gets closer and I have more info I’ll tell you! Right now all I know is that it’s 8 performances in April.

I (unsurprisingly) failed my finals, and have to retake last semester entirely.

And yes, that's good news.

Because I'm only retaking 2nd semester. Which means that after my internship ends in early September, I don't have anything until New Year's Day.

Then, after I redo my semester, I won't have to do the internship again because I'm already doing it rn. So I'm free again from mid April to early September next year.

Which means that finally, I'll have time for myself. Time to rest. Time to breathe. Time to work out everything that happened since 2.5 (arguably 4) years.

Finally, I might have a chance to get out of this.

A short time ago on the opposite thread I panicked as my work contract was expiring and I was filled with dread at the possibility that my wife and I would be left without any sort of income. Thank G-d I received today a contract extending me for a year (whereas before it was 6 months at a time) I was also informed today that because of my work performance they want to write a profile on me for the next company newsletter!!
