Because my brain consists of one cell going "Ashbringer No" and one going "Ashbringer Yes"?

(I have no idea what you mean)

(Unless a last minute vote gave you a heart attack)

Posted

smh I spent all day trying to kill Burnt and you were willing to do it, but hammered so I didn't have time to change back. Are we suuuuure Ash is village?

Ultimately switched because I liked the voters on Divergent. Would have preferred to stay out of the blue mask pool, but it is what it is. Burnt talking about the dead doc had me second guessing her evilness

If you're a confirmed villager with a Blast Mask, speak now or explode

well that feels like a bit of a random push

oh well I forgot when rollover was and didn’t vote so I’m not one to talk

whoever got the Bremen mask, I strongly recommend using it on both N1 and N2 of the loop to try and block the kill, as that basically lets us win the loop straight up

no need to be coy with saving charges

Uh... Shouldn't folks just avoid targeting the confirmed villagers? That way we force the elims to kill outside of the folks we've already confirmed as village.

PMs count as targeting. We can’t PM them if they have the mask. If we do, the postmaster explodes and we lose PMs forever

Yeah, so as previously established:
- Sending a PM counts as targeting the Postman
- Postman delivering PMs counts as targeting recipients

That was my point. We presumably don't want the holder of the Blast Mask to claim if they are a likely NK target. Consequently, we should avoid sending PMs or otherwise using abilities on any confirmed villagers.

Well that was an interesting day.

Purple Pancake Party

More so if you have blast, maybe don't have it active during the day? Equip during the night only to avoid accidental explosions. Unless thats what you want, in which case, time to play Pm minesweeper and hope to not message the wrong person.

lol, I’m gonna have fun, it’s not my life I’m playing with

Edit: numbers to make sure I’m not about to make an absolutely terrible decision.

So. If both the postmaster and the blast mask wearer are Elims, it means we win the loop, if one’s Elim and one isn’t, that generally goes in our favor. If it’s two village, I don’t think it changes anything….

If I adjust the numbers in the spreadsheet from the signup, the results stay the same. 4-4 and a 5-3, the Elims win, if it’s 6-2 or 7-1 we still win… I think it might be in our favor….

@Ashbringer @Wahrheitswächter @The Unknown Medallion

If any of you have the Blast mask, either PM me that, or say it in thread, because otherwise I’m targeting everyone and everything with PMs

Edit 2: or the Postman hat, since they’ll go exploding as well

Somehow only hours after (if 'after' makes sense for an event set days in the future that you experied hours ago in the past) experiencing a terror-induced sensory overload, he was experienced the physics-based equivalent.

Ears ringing, with what felt like the weight of the world pressing down on him, Link's sense slowly returned to him. He shook his head, trying to remember.

He'd tried to get into clock town but then got apprehended and thrown in a cell. Eventually, he'd gotten a cell mate in the form of Commander Vicsen, only mere moments after he'd returned to consciousness, the cell had exploded. Link had tried to move to use his sturdy goron frame to shield the Commander from the blast, but his unsteady legs had failed him, and he'd fell. Instead...

He looked around gingerly. His back seemed to be supporting a beam that was preventing more of the building from falling down into the space, preserving some space with which to work and probably partly what had prevented his immediate death. Looking down, he saw the other part that had saved him. The Commander, or what was left of him, lay between him and where the door and it's explosive ornaments had been, having taken the brunt of the shockwave for him. He bowed his head in sorrow at the Commanders loss. Perhaps if he'd be faster, they could have both lived. But he would have to process that later. He would have limited air, and there was almost certainly fires above. If this wasn't the end, it would quickly become so if he didn't get moving. Taking a moment to replay the route he had been taken to get here to work our where the closest direction to 'out' was, he begun the work of digging, and occasionally eating,  his way out.

~~~
He didn't know how long it took, though not too long he didn't think upon reflection. Parts of the structure had only partially caved in, and he was able to squeeze or roll through air pockets rather than burrow the whole way out. It turned out also that the cell hadn't been too deep into the build either, or a least, much of what had been in that direction had been sufficiently demolished to ease his escape.
Finally pulling himself out of the rubble, he looked around to see a sight reminiscent of the first first night. Buildings a blaze, or buildings just gone, as smoke rose to choke the sky as the moon leered down.
Before him, he spotted some figures. Figures he recognised from the journey south before that haunting melody had seemingly sent him back, and then things had changed.
"It's happened again, goro. Do you remember? The masked people - they... the Commander is dead. We need to go!"
(I assume Ap and those that were with her were still outside?)
That reminds me, I need more rp
Kieran heard an explosion. He instinctively spun towards the origin of the sound, despite all the buildings in his way. He’d just gotten back from the mask shop… and this wasn’t good.
”It’d better not be that Skull kid”
He debated, he didn’t know what was happening, and there was no reason to go rushing in without any information.
”Dang it, I can’t, I’d get myself killed”
Turning back, Kieran started to run.
@Mistfallen Soldier I have neither
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Wahi heard the explosion he decided to run, there wasnt anything he could do if he stayed and investigated it, so he made his way towards the North gate. He didnt want to be in the Town if anything else started exploding, because being were the explosions were, was generally not good for survival and Wahi wanted to survive
(if anyone on their way to the Northgate wants to interact with Wahi go for it)
Thanks, that’s one less rupee I’ll have to spend
though it is possible you’re lying because you don’t trust me, in which case fair, I wouldn’t either. But it does put you at the bottom of the list of who to PM
I wouldnt gain anything from lying, If I had the Postmanns Hat, lying about it wouldnt harm you very much but put me in Danger if you go through with your Plan. Lying about Blastmask wouldnt gain me much because it would mean your scheme will kill me as well as one other Person. either way I wouldnt actually harm you in any way so why would I lie?
Not dying is usually a good reason, but in this case it would mean there’s a guaranteed villager death and wouldn’t be as effective.
And not trusting me doesn’t mean you’d harm me, it just means you wouldn’t help. And like, this isn’t my life I’m playing with here, it could be Stick’s and Hael for all I know
Cindra's ears were ringing, and her body felt like it was on fire. Fire! The manor!! She bolted upright, which she regretted the speed of as she immediately felt dizzy and made her realize how sore everything was. The Manor. No.. the town! The flames were back, the screams were back. That acrid smell of smoke was back.  Dammit... why did it happen sooner?? She looked around her, where were the others? Ah... No!  She saw the other two also knocked down. AP looked unconscious, but Thistle was moving, also picking themselves up. She stumbled over to AP, eyes wildly checking for a response as she shook her shoulder. "Thistle, are you okay to move on your own? I think AP is hurt! Do you have anything that can help?" She jumped as rubble fell behind her and as she looked she saw a Goron figure pushing himself out of it. Someone survived all that??  I know Gorons are tough, but still!
"It's happened again, goro. Do you remember? The masked people - they... the Commander is dead. We need to go!"
Cindra closed her eyes. The commander. The one who had gotten them all out in the first place, who had lead and kept them safe. This was bad.
"We remember, kinda. Foggy but yes." She looked back at Ap. "Without the commander... We need Ap. We must make sure Ap is okay. We must make sure she gets out of this. You... You fought right? Can you protect her?" She wanted to say 'us' but she knew in her heart that she hadn't been of much help. The others around her had made significant differences. But they were nothing without the ocarinas songs. She turned back to Ap desperately hoping to see signs of her stirring.
Uhh guys something I just thought of
Dont we have to kill, like, 2 elims to win a Boss Mask?
So, even if we won it last time, it’s still possible that one of those deaths was an elim…
Posted
😭
edit:
So On loop 1 we needed to only kill 1, due to the 2.5 parity rule and there being no exe D1
Posted
No all three os us that died last Loop are vilagers, because for every living elim there needs to be at least 2,5 living villagers for us to win  the loop, the elims won the last loop, which means there were less than 2,5 living villagers for every living elim.
If one elim died last loop there would be 3 elims, meaning there would need to be less than 7,5 (3x2,5) living villagers, which isnt possible with only three dead people, especially if one of them were an elim so there would only be 2 villager deaths and 10 surviving ones which is langer than 7,5 so we coulnt have lost last loop if we kill an elim, ergo all three of us that died are villagers.
just to be fully transparent guys, the city im currently in has kinda been a warzone for the past 2 days, NOT figuratively 💀
im grateful for this game cuz it’s a nice ‘end of the day’ distraction (when I can afford it) but it seems like things have not been improving and i might have to request a sub if it gets past a certain point
but ya just a PSA for potentially reduced activity bc my wifi has been acting up as well due to certain services being disrupted in the region
One again coming to apologise, I had a friend's birthday to prep for which took my attention away for the last couple of days. I should be free for the next 3 days so I should catch up but please, if someone can summarise and give me a few players to ISO that would be a better way for me to get into the game rather than the catch-up which I feel daunted about.
@Stick., please take care and be safe!
"I'm no fighter, that's for sure, but I can try."
He peered through the smoke and shadow.
"Looks like the east gate isn't passable. Next closest gate is to the north. That might be our best bet. The swamps to the south didn't work out for us, so we could also try going the opposite direction through to my people in the north".
He looked back to the prone figure.
"How is she doing? Is she still breathing?"
Well that was a chaotic EoD. Seems like a lot of scrambling at the end there. Will try to look at it again tonight.
@Stick.I saw the news, I'm so sorry. Please stay safe.
Yesterday an exe started on Mistfallen, but then dissolved mid cycle for another train to build on burnt, but towards end of day as far as I can tell there was a push for divergent with a lot of changes and then divergent was exed. I voted on burnt because I thought mist was village, but now I'm confused at the push for Dive.
