Cosmere Hunger Games - RP

The tributes hear laughter as they enter the arena. It echoes for a long moment before fading into the stunningly colorful jungle that surrounds them on every side. It’s warm, and so humid that all the tributes immediately begin sweating. They have no metal minds, no weapons, nothing but themselves.

“Welcome,” a voice says, “to our first ever Commemorative Hunger Games! Each of our so-called “tributes” has volunteered and is ready to risk death for the possibility of gold and glory!”

In the center, instead of a traditional cornucopia, there sits a single story building. It’s black on every side, and it glitters with what can only be inlaid silver. Each of its four sides has a single door. Another spout of laughter begins, and this time they can tell it’s coming from within.

Everyone except for @TheRavenHasLanded, @Wierdo, @The Honorable One, @Unintelligenius, and @Lotus Blossom feels weakened, as if they can’t quite reach their power. Maybe they could, if they pushed, but it would be very draining.

In the Gamemaker Headquarters, Gavin was sitting on a couch near his adopted parents. He was smiling pleasantly, though perhaps he watched the screen just a tad too eagerly. Paint was splattered across his hands, which he was absentmindedly scratching away.

Alderic stood quietly in a militaristic posture, hands held behind his back. His face was solemn as he watched the screen.

Cosette gripped the armrests of her chair tightly, clenching her strong, yet delicate hands on the wood. "Et voilà, le bain de sang commence..." She whispered, staring at the screen. "Et quel spectacle ce sera..." She gave a grim smile and settled back in her chair. Emeric sits beside her, his leg is crossed over the other and he is staring silently at Cosette. He then looks up at the screen and nods.

Rekker smiles at Epiphany and then presses one of the many buttons laid out before him, notepad in hand. Gavin glanced at Rekker, frowned in confusion, then looked back at the screen. This wasn't something he wanted to miss.

“And now,” the voice continued. “Let’s begin! Ten.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.”

There’s a gong, and so the games begin.

Roy immediately starts running towards the nearest entrance to the building looking for any supplies on the way, especially any sand...

Kresh immediately runs towards the mysterious building in the middle. Even if he's cut off from his powers, he still is a trained warrior and isn't afraid of the others. Jaddeth would protect him.

Konrad didn't hesitate to sprint directly towards the far side of the building and open the door, searching desperately for any supplies.

Marewill started running - more slowly than she would have liked. She just had to hope she was the only Steelrunner; steel metalminds would be useless to those who weren't.

Astra smiles her crooked smile and glances about in a tipsy manner. Instead of rushing into the central building, Astra walks about the jungle surrounding it. Her eyebrow raises at the laughter.

"I see at least one of us is having fun, hm?"

She hung her hands from the loops of her belt and sat down in the shade of the strangely saturated jungle. The colors, the flamboyance, the odd sensations... It felt like home. It felt like a casino filled with cigarettes, cards, jewelry- fake and real alike, and drunks. It felt like laughter and crying, like power and fear, like smiles and smirks. She sat, with an air of mystery about her, and watched. Soon it would get to her. Soon, but not now. Now, it was a time for freedom. And so the games begin.

Quote

i am grateful for not being weakened :P

Cocking her head to the side in a rather jerky way, she lets out a light laugh and looks about, tossing her hair over her shoulders. The jungle was deep. There had to be something. Something of... use. Something of value.

It was all an auction.

All of this.

And the tributes were being put up on display.

Sharp (VIII) glances at another tribute across the starting area. ( @TheRavenHasLanded ) Trying to send a signal with his head that they should run for the center.

They could meet up in a minute, first he had to prioritize getting supplies. He ran up to the small building, hoping it wasn't a trap, and stepped inside.

OKAY wait astra NEEDS to go here one second

Astra staggered to her feet in a jerky, tipsy motion and smiled her crooked smile again.

"Well, this is no fun," she said with a pout, looking about the colorful jungle.

She laughed under her breath and made her way to the building, standing on the side wall next to the doorway. Taking a breath to remind herself of the cigarettes and the wry smiles of home, she pranced in, pushing the door wide open and swaying inside. Her eyes do not widen, but her eyebrows calmly raise, with her mouth tilting up in a playful manner.

"Astra has arrived. How are you folks?"

She looked around, holding a hand up in a silky way, imitating the satins and flamboyance of the bourgeoisie, though she only had taste of fake jewels.

aw :(

"Is that so?" she curses and makes a small motion of defiance by stomping a little on the ground.

"No mater," her eyes rolled with annoyance.

She sauntered towards another entrance, shaking her head in frustration and letting her ringlets bounce. She shoved her arm into the second door, kicking it a little.

Krinarl's head snaps up. "OH HI SHARP-" and he runs over to the building with him.

You'll see :D

The door shuts behind Sharp, and Krinarl finds it locked when he tries to follow him.

Just now, TheRavenHasLanded said:

He knocks on the door. "Sharp, can you let me in? PLSSSSSSSSSS?"

Sharp doesn't hear anything. The man is still watching him, awaiting his response.
