That's an occupational hazard of a playstyle that encourages perpetual suspicion.

Agreed. Playing in perpetually suspicious manner has its benefits, but it tends to bite you when the village can't find better options.

Surely Araris is simply always Village.

It's open if you change at least the first letter of your name to a W so we keep at least some of our sanity when @ing you.:P

Nonsense. The power of broreads tells me both of you are always Village and trustworthy 😔

Yep! Signups are open through Saturday, when the game will start. Welcome! (and this is probably a better intro than Alice blackout…)

Except LG97, where exe'ing an Elim literally was impossible and it would time travel back and we were stuck for 5 days in d3

Personally, I think the idea still applies. Nothing better than time travel, especially when it encourages high-active-village-cannibalism.

Signing up as Taliat/Orotha and Iolea, Singer supporters.

Taliat, no, she was Orotha here, stared at the words on the paper below the glyphs for Seek and Friend, then Death and Stoneward on the next line. Slani had so kindly been teaching her how to read and write a Singer script in exchange for all the glyphs Orotha knew, but learning that and women's script at the same time made progress slow. Iolea was a more enthusiastic learner and thus better at reading, but Orotha's Mistspren had to keep on the lookout to make sure nobody caught her surgebinder with a spanreed. Slani’s Relayform allowed her to communicate long-distance with Odium’s spren and those who had bonded them, but her human and non-Regal Singer contacts required other methods.

Even without Iolea’s help, Orotha managed to piece the message together, aided by annotations regarding the Rhythms the message should be read to: Command, Satisfaction, Execution. Find Radiant allies. Kill Stoneward, followers.

She replied with the notation for the Rhythm of Determination and signed as Taliat. She waited for further messages, ideally including the names of these supposed allies. When none came, she stowed her spanreed and papers away and called out to Iolea. She was dancing in the air, never staying in one spot long enough for her light to condense. When she heard her name, she flipped around backwards to look behind her.

“Hi Orotha! Kular here knows so much about the other spren and surgebinders! Why don’t we ever talk to anyone?”

A Windspren materialized besides her, putting as much fury and indignation as possible into a body barely taller than a spanreed.

“Hey! That was Con-Fi-Dence-Shul. No going back on your word!”

“My Radiant will make the same deal with you, promise!”

“Your Radiant?” Kular asked, posture now suggesting contemplation rather than anger. Orotha glared at Iolea. A Windspren? Really? They were famous for being uncompromising, completely unconcerned with morals and the consequences of their actions. Most would rather die than redress millennia of knowingly following their oaths by occupying Singer land, killing or expelling every Singer who sought to reclaim it. Iolea looked proud, light pooling upwards in the shape of an unrooted rockbud.

“Deal!” Kular announced. “You owe me a story tonight, Brightness.” Orotha agreed, and the trio headed to the main encampments. Iolea looked impossibly smug, and Orotha conceded she may have a point. A First Ideal Windspren still had room to improve.

You have FEWER THAN EIGHT HOURS REMAINING to destroy my carefully balanced game by signing up

Lemme help you with that.

@TheRavenHasLanded, you said you wanted to try SE eventually. This would be a good game to have as your first (it's not bloody blackout)

Also, I have some quick questions

1. Does the ideal count of a player show up when they were exe'd?

2. Can an Elim block the Elim kill to progress an ideal?

3. Are passive action slots a thing this game? In tyrian, if a spiked thug submits the Elim kill, their extra life is surpressed for the cycle. Is this in the game similarly?

1. Killed players will have their Order and Ideal progression revealed.

2. Yes.

3. All passive abilities are true passives and never require action submissions or action slots. So extra lives always work. (I think they always work in normal Tyrian too but it could be a weird Meta holdover that I don’t observe :P)
