While the Queen of Serenitas is unhappy about losing control of Adoral-Can to her allies, she doesn't pursue the matter further, and sends troops to march on the Kingdom of Zunotis. The armies have orders to slaughter every civilian, soldier, and noble they encounter.

The Queen plans to eradicate the royal family of Zunotis and claim the throne for herself.

Zunotis is forced to surrender, and the Queen imprisons the King and all of his remaining nobles.

The Queen of Serenitas then captures the Princess of Zunotis and attempts to seduce her.

However, the princess resists the queen's advances.

In response, the queen casts a spell that allows her to take over the princess' body.

Good... job...?

Now facing resistance within the newly-conquered region of Nam-Ed, the Gahestian Empire decides to crack down on traitors with a show of strength. With their armies recuperating and airship fleet destroyed, they begin drafting civilians from Eakirandi, Adoral-Can, Quonshi, and Sociania in order to build a new battalion to quell the rebellion.

When the draft soldiers arrive at the front lines, they find the Gahestians fighting alongside the rebels, who are led by a former guard named Tarn.

Tarn and his army manage to defeat the Gahestian forces, and the people of Eakirandi and Adoral-Can reclaim their lands.

The Gahestian Emperor orders the attack on Adoral-Can to be resumed, and the Gahestians are victorious once more.

The Emperor now sees the potential in Tarn and orders him to lead his next battalion of draftees.

Despite the Emperor's wishes, the Gahestians refuse to fight and flee the battlefield.

With no other choice, the emperor orders Tarn to capture them.

Tarn and his forces are able to track down most of the fleeing troops, except for one.

Sensing something isn't right, Tarn asks the sole survivor of the battle why he ran. He tells Tarn that he fled because the Gahestians were using the draftees as cannon fodder, and that they would never win the war this way.

To prove his point, Tarn commands the single remaining Gahestian to turn and face him.

In a surprise move, the Gahestian draws his sword and slices through Tarn's head.

The soldiers return to camp, where Tarn's body is discovered by the commander.

The commander expresses his condolences to Tarn's grieving comrades, but the rest of the troops are furious, believing that the survivor was simply trying to save his own hide.

They kill the survivor and blame him for the death of their friend.

As punishment, they strip the surviving soldier of his rank and send him to the frontlines of the war.

The man is given command over a small group of draftees, who he puts through hellish training for weeks before sending them off to fight.

The survivors of the first battalion are outraged when they learn what happened to their commander. They decide to leave the battlefield and seek out Tarn's killer.

...Can someone explain to me what just happened?

I think that Tarn guy that was leading the rebellion was so charismatic that he convinced the part of the Gahestian army actually made up of Gahestians to rebel with him, then after defeating the Gahestian army made up of foreign draftees the Gahestian emperor offered him a job, but the native Gahestian part of his army decided to run away anyways. Then Tarn kills all of them but one, who murders him then gets killed without Tarn's rebel buddies figuring it out. Then the rebel buddies desert and go on a hunt for the already-dead guy. Or maybe that guy got killed by them, but the AI just didn't tell the story chronologically.

Having gained control over the neutral trading port of Jharkov, the Inventor's Triumvirate of Realmingsburg uses their airships and access to world trade to try to gain economic dominance.

Roland of Realmingsburg leads an invasion force towards the Kingdom of Zunotis, hoping to steal its resources and manpower.

He meets little resistance from the Kingdom's military, but once he arrives in Zunotis, Roland discovers that his conquest will not be easy.

Zunotis has already been under siege by a massive demon army.

The Kingdom is overrun and nearly conquered by the armies of the Demon King, but the Kingdom's King manages to escape and rally his troops.

Using a combination of magic and brute force, the Kingdom is able to defeat the invading Demon Army, and the King is able to negotiate a peace treaty with the Demon King.

At the end of the conflict, Roland is offered the Kingdom's King as a prisoner if he agrees to stop attacking the Kingdom.

Roland refuses, and demands the Demon King's crown in exchange for the King's freedom.

The Demon King declines and instead offers Roland the crown of his enemy, the Gahestian Empire.

In the aftermath of the conflict, Roland learns that his brother, Renaud, has also invaded Zunotis.

Renaud has allied himself with the Demon King, and intends to conquer Zunotis just like his brother.

After learning of the invasion, Roland decides to confront his younger brother.

However, he finds that Renauld has already defeated the Kingdom's army and is about to march on Realmingsburg.

If Roland does not act quickly, his brother will destroy the entire kingdom.

Roland decides to betray his brother and invade Zunotis alone, while leaving the Kingdom to its fate.

think that what happened is a random bureaucrat from Realmingsburg named Roland led an invasion against Zunotis, but Zunotis was already under siege by the Demon King, so Roland defeated the Demon King so that he could conquer Zunotis, which I think he did. Roland took the Demon King prisoner. Roland told the demon king that if he gave up his crown, he would be freed, but the demon king didn't want to do that. Instead, tDK offered the crown of his enemy, who turned out to be the Gehestian Empire(?). Then after I finished invading, it turned out Renaud, Roland's younger brother, is taking the rest of my army to also invade Zunotis, but this time for the Demon King.

So... I'm gonna need to defeat Roland's brother if I want to keep Zunotis. I also captured the Demon King, who is the enemy of the Gehestians now?

Not what I expected....

Psmithania was conquered, but decided to have fun anyways. Under the demon king, they have a jazz revolution. Psmithania's musical revolution begins a counter-cultural revolution as social norms are uprooted and the youth begin to step into their destinies.

The demon king is overthrown by his half-brother, whose name we do not know.

There is some sort of civil war after the fall of the demon king, but it is unclear whether the kingdom or the demons won.
