John watched as two of the children came out of the hide out and made his way over.

"Anything I can help you with?"

"Ummm..." Lyanör glanced at Ji, unsure of how to respond.

Ji growled at John, the hairs on his neck rising. "No," he said, giving him a glare.

[Frustration]

John sighed "Look kid, I get that you don't trust me, a random bum off the street you've never seen before. But your friend is hurt, and from the looks of it you all would prefer to hide. I can go places without attracting attention. I'll leave the choice up to you, but are you sure I can't help you?"

"I'm not a kid," Ji growled. "Besides, what can you do to help? We're strangers. If you are what you say, then you would know that not everyone can be trusted, especially people you've just met."

[Frustration]

"Do you trust Saaphir?"

Saaphir swung in his hammock, watching over the edge. “Be nice to him Ji!” He called down. “don’t bite him or anything. He’s a friend of mine.”

John laughed, "Thanks Saaphir."

His frown deepened. "You didn't answer my earlier question," Ji said, forcing himself to relax with very little success. "What can you do to help?"

[Frustration]

"Your hiding for a reason, if I had to guess you're in trouble and need to keep a low profile, pacis might recognise you otherwise. I don't need to wory about that, whatever you need, I can get it."

Ji regarded him warily. "Telling me to not to worry about it doesn't help."

[Frustration]

"I ment that I'm not wanted for anything, so I don't have to hide." John said somewhat appoligetically.

“Ah,” he said, rolling his eyes a bit. “What can you provide to the group, besides food?”

[Frustration]

"Well, I've got a little cash on me, a portable grill,  a knife, a small propane tank, a metal set of silverware, a plate and a gun."
