Technically in college, since I'm working on a PhD, but I'm a 40 year old man in the work force - so not college age anyway.

Yes, I'm still in high school.

Frankly I'm terrfied of college.

You should be! They torture people mercilessly in college! Think Pits of Hathsin, on a good day, and the damnation of the Heralds, on a bad day. And don't forget - college is full of librarians!

Just past first year, which was a bit too chill for my tastes.

As I understand it from friends and whatnot second year onwards is hell.

18, homeschooled. Since I have no ambitions in life aside from making enough money to feed my cats, I probably won't be going to college any time soon. :P

I'm 11 years out of college... college is awesome don't let anyone scare you, if you choose the right major/studies for you! What should scare you is work and real life that comes after. Enjoy this time of relative freedom in your life all of you!!

So, it looks like so far I am alone in the "recently (but not too recently) graduated" demographic for now. I earned my Master's* degree almost exactly two years ago.

*Fun bit of trivia - in my native language a Master's degree would translate as Magister's degree. Which sounds much cooler to me (in English).

That explains why you are here all the time :P How could I compete?

I'm not technically in college anymore.

...I'm just a college professor now. Totally different :P

They're a lot of highschool age kids in here, as well as just past college kids. A few middleschoolers as well I think. I'm not saying what I am though ;)

Not even slightly in college (though you guys across the pond confuse me no end by calling it college anyway - here in the UK it's school, then college, then university).

I went to all three, dropped out of university in my final year, now I'm just a wage slave :P

Maybe? I don't even know, I've never heard the term :S

College is where you get intermediate qualifications, University is where you get your Bachelor's degree, or your Masters.

And here I have been, thinking I was the youngest person on here for a while. I'm in my first year of High School, but I've been a fan since I was 10. Does that count?

Also, I give Kudos to any Middle Schooler that has over a thousand upvotes.

In Aussie there's a university and a community college and I think they're basically the same aside from cost and prestige kinda thing.

Then we also have TAFE which is more practical studies, like things to do with animals.

Technically, I'm not IN college anymore, since classes ended last week and I'll graduate on Saturday. Now that I have my Master's degree, I shall convert Liebrarians to the Free Kingdoms' cause!

Congrats on finishing up your Master's. What are you the Master of? ;)

I have a Master's as well, which I earned back in 2011 after working for several years after undergrad. Now I work in international development. I love my job and get to travel for work all the time. (For example I just found out today that on Friday I'm flying to Jordan for two weeks.)

For those of you scared of university, Green Hoodie Mistborn is correct, don't be afraid of it. I had the best time of my life during the four years of my Bachelors. I made amazing friends and had awesome life experiences. I also felt like High School was harder than university. It may have been the IB program kicking my butt, but it really prepped me for uni.

Information Resources and Library Science. It's required for most library jobs with any hope of advancement.

I am jealous.

I'm not. I went to university for a while after I finfished school, but I skipped it because I hated it.

Now I'm bookseller in training and I love it.
