  1. KENTON GET ME MY BOOM BOX! There's also a diploma, a picture of a horse (or cow) a $5 bill, and some other things scattered through the comics.
  2. Mmmmm I wouldn't take the artwork too seriously in volume 1 and most of volume 2 I'm not entirely sure the colorist even read the text...
  3. Looks like Weltall and CrazyRioter beat me to it this time But yeah, given those two WoBs, it's pretty unlikely that Cusicesh is the Sibling.
  4. I think if Nightblood were taken physically into the CR, he'd look pretty much the same. In OB, Azure is looking for it, and she says So her description of it matches what the honorspren saw at the time, which means Nightblood should look fairly close to the way he normally does when he's in the CR.
  5. I'm almost positive that the Iri lived on Nalthis for a while, but I'm not sure about Taldain. Autonomy seems very possessive, and Taldain's CR has been locked away for a while. But it's possible that they left before the lockdown. I don't remember sandmasters' eyes turning golden when using powers. Is that stated somewhere?
  6. Cosmere standard, I'm pretty sure, is based on Yolen, as the originating planet for most of the species. Yolen likely is going to be an Earth analogue, at least in terms of mass, gravitation, atmosphere, etc. It makes it easier all the way around.
  7. I'm pretty sure Elend chose to go Beyond, just like Vin chose to go with him. They both could have stayed longer but didn't want to.
  8. Hey can you change your topic to be more generic and put OB in the title? Hopefully a mod will be along soon to move it into the OB spoilers forum. Spoilers are still in effect for another couple of weeks.
  9. Yeah I haven't worked on it in a while! Request permission to the doc and I can add you to the edit permissions, @Totally_Not_A_Worldhopper
  10. Stamping requires a constant trickle or flow of investiture to keep them going against the actual history of the object or person. So taking them too far from MaiPon, the stamp would eventually break and revert.
  11. When Odium Splintered Dominion and Devotion, he crammed their power into the Cognitive Realm to keep the power from gaining sentience or someone Ascending. So Sel's Cognitive Realm is like a giant plasma storm that has a good chance of destroying anyone who approaches it. Cal got that one, it looks like.
  12. That's an interesting theory, but sadly the timelines don't match up. Vo returned perhaps 1000 years ago, and Honor died somewhere close to 2000-2500 years ago. Warbreaker takes place between 25-300 years before WoK according to Brandon. The Manywar takes place ~300 years before Warbreaker and Vo Returned something like 300 years before the Manywar, according to the story Hoid told Siri. Honor died a little after the Recreance, which was around 2500 years ago, if I remember correctly.
  13. I don't think Yelig-nar was in the gemstone. The gemstone just had to be swallowed to imitate a gemheart, that Yelig-nar could then "possess" like the Fused and the voidspren do with the Singers. When Kaladin and Shallan reach Thaylenah in Shadesmar, they see a smoky form standing near the rest of the armies. That was Yelig-nar, so he wasn't in the gemstone prior to it being swallowed. I think I'm trying to say that if the spren is in there more-or-less willingly, then you don't need a perfect gemstone to contain it.
  14. You need to mark this as OB Spoilers. But here is a recent thread about it.
  15. Or Glys was the one that was bonded to the Truthwatcher back then
  16. Well he was talking to jofwu at the time, so my belief is that whatever jof thinks it is, is what it is More seriously, I think the highest probability is that it contains a voidspren or voidlight, at this point.
  17. It was definitely Yelig-nar.
  18. No, she climbed up on Wyndle. Then she used Progression to grow some plants to pop the window.
  19. Well she would need to actually metabolize the calories and nutrients sometimes, otherwise she'd die of starvation So that which makes it through her digestive track would need to be excreted. She mentions in Edgedancer that the food she eats disappear as an awesomeness-source in about half a day.
  20. Right, because the type of charge that the spike holds is different than the Feruchemical or Allomantic power. And it's entirely possible that a specific metal can hold different types of charges, depending on which bindpoint it hit. We just have to wait for the Hemalurgic Chart to find out exactly.
  21. I mean, it would be really really really weird if Brandon is talking about Lopen when the question was about Adolin and his sword.
  22. So you're the 4th or 5th person I've seen ask this question and it kind of puzzles me. Maybe you can clear this up? Because the Questioner specifically is asking about Adolin and his sword in his question, and Brandon says flat out that for spoiler reasons, he's going to talk around the specifics. So the Questioner asks about Adolin and Maya. Brandon avoiding specifics says "A certain well adjusted person". I really thought that was obvious. In addition, by the end of Oathbringer, Lopen is a Second Oath Windrunner. He really can't be called "well on the way to Knighthood." He already is a Knight.
  23. The Feruchemical power that it stores via a Feruchemist isn't necessarily what the Hemalurgic spike will grant them. So the pewter spike gives them the Feruchemical Gold ability, and they would have a gold metalmind to store the actual health in. A Hemalurgy table is going to be released soon-ish, that should help clarify these things
