  1. Doesn't Queen Fen have children? I'm sure she does. *checks* Yeah, she has a son, at least. He's the one that challenged Dalinar to a duel when he was visiting the city the first time.
  2. This is amazing, thank you!
  3. We don't know exactly how much power was in the Well, but I really don't think it was the majority of Preservation's power. His power was also in the mists, in the lerasium, in the bit of himself he put into people, in the planet, and still enough for the Vessel to be the Vessel, not a Sliver (yet).
  4. I get it, but that's the definition we've been given, so that's what we go with :/
  5. "While he/she was Ascended" would probably be the easiest thing.
  6. The Sibling withdrawing is mentioned in the gemstone archive, which was made before the Recreance. It's why they had to abandon Urithiru.
  7. A Sliver is just someone who Ascended (or Transcended) and then gave up or lost the power. So an ex-Vessel could be a Sliver, as can a more minor Ascension such as TLR.
  8. Yes, but I'm saying I think the SR effect would be much greater than the CR or PR effects, and that anything like an Evil would be a significant Spiritual Realm-type issue.
  9. I think it would have affected the entire Spiritual Realm pretty much instantly.
  10. Yes, that's my point
  11. I think effects from the Spiritual Realm would propagate through the Cognitive and Physical far more than the other way around.
  12. The Shattering happened in all three Realms, so it would have been pretty instantaneous in the Spiritual Realm, where most Shardic powers and effects reside.
  13. I don't think the Evil could have been the Shattering. If I remember correctly, SfS is fairly far forward in the timeline, and the Evil took over the Homeland just a generation or three ago, so it'd be thousands of years after the Shattering. I think the mourning aspect of the system's planet's names is in regards to Ambition's death nearby.
  14. I think that the Well was dangerous to use because of its location and because it required a uhhh mode of transportation, so to speak. I don't think we know enough about Elsecalling to say exactly how the "mini-perpendicularity" works. It might even be so little needed that it only pierces to the CR, rather than all three (I could easily be wrong about this, so we'll see?). I don't think the amount of atium in the Trust Warren was enough to create a perp. The perp was the Pits themselves, with atium geodes and crystals all throughout the area. I'm sure there was far more than most people ever discovered, considering the number of lines Kelsier saw when he went there to destroy them. If you had enough atium in one place, then yeah it could/would create a perp. And if you had a lot of it, you could probably move it around. But it would take a LOT. And there isn't enough atium left currently to do that. No, they wouldn't have Ascended, because the atium goes away as it's burned. You can consecutively burn as much as you want, and it might make you a savant, but not Ascend. You'd have to have more than you could hold in your stomach to Ascend, I would think. The dome of aluminum would function the same as a dome of any other physical substance. It blocks investiture, sure, but it doesn't seem to create anything special on the Cognitive side. It might be a bead or a wall, so Cognitive presences would need to bypass it as they would a normal representation of a wall, but it wouldn't do anything special otherwise, that I can think of.
  15. Ascension is just taking up a significant portion of a Shard (Since we don't have a name or quanta of investiture yet, I couldn't say how much it takes). Vin Ascended while Laras was still alive--he died the final death outside of Fadrex city in HoA. TLR Ascended 1000 years before that, and he wasn't the first to take up the power of the Well. So yes, someone can Ascend and take up a significant portion of the power of a Shard even while the Vessel is alive and holding the Shard. I don't think that person would count as the Vessel, though, unless they held >50% of the power. They'd just be holding a large portion.
  16. Nightblood just relies on his wielder to decide what is evil or not. So it's not convincing Nightblood, so much as convincing whoever is holding him.
  17. In my question, he didn't know for sure how many times a Herald broke which probably means it's not a significant number. If it were 16, he'd definitely know it.
  18. I just asked about the # of Desolations at the Legion release. There were more than 15 but less than 50. He doesn't actually know how many there were off the top of his head, which to me, says that it's not a plot significant number. I know that the theory was that each time a Herald broke, another -name was added, but I don't think that can be the case, otherwise he'd know how many there were.
  19. Mmmm Brandon says in the annotations that Nightblood doesn't really understand what evil means. So I don't think Shashara had anything specific in mind when she visualized the Command.
  20. A recent WoB says he hasn't figured out how to leave Scadrial.
  21. Some of it, I think, is stored, and some of it leaks away. Because NB is more powerful now than at his creation.
  22. I think it would act as another metal, though. Because you're diluting the bits that have that particular bit and type of investiture. You should still be able to access it but it'd be harder, because you have to make sure you're touching the right part of the metal and all that. And investiture interferes with investiture, so I think it would take more effort to get the bits that you want out of it.
  23. 1. I suspect this would be the same as melting and alloying a Feruchemical metalmind. It'd get mixed up and you wouldn't really be able to access it. 2. This has been RAFO'd, but the prevailing idea is that it would create an atium Misting. Harmonium is an element, not an alloy.
  24. I don't think Sazed would tell Wax there's a threat when there isn't. Or send Wax and the kandra to stop the Set if he were behind them. And the actions of the Set and the red-eyed Faceless Immortal are very out of character for him.
  25. Not in this case, because Sazed has taken up both, and so those perpendicularities don't exist any longer. We've seen the Pits and they're empty. Spending enough time on a planet will eventually create a perpendicularity. A Shard can choose to create one sooner, but eventually it happens. They can avoid creating one by not spending time on a planet.
