Honestly, I was so excited for this episode. I thought the found footage concept could be sued pretty well, and that it would be really interesting. Instead, we got the worst episode of Twelve's tenure.

As Blaze says, I am a week behind. In fact, I'm actually two weeks behind in Supergirl, which is... kinda terrible. That being said, hey! Guess who finally made his UK TV debut! Hint: he was not played by Keanu Reeves. Well, alright. I have to admit, Matt Ryan is a bit "cleaner" as Constantine than I expected - I picture the character as a bit shabbier in terms of appearance- but it's a pretty good interpretation of New52!John at least, and besides... Live acton John Constantine? I am all over that. So I figured updating my avatar for a week or so in tribute to Johnny boy wouldn't go amiss. Seriously, I hope Constantine gets new life somewhere. An HBO Hellblazer show would be fantastic, but even if "all" we get are more guest apeprances by Matt Ryan in Arrow, I'd be happy. Constantine is the kind of guy I can definitely see calling in that "anytime, anywhere" offer Oliver made.

What if Rosie the Riveter was a superheroine? It's an idea that's been banging away in the back of my mind for a while. It's the 1940's, and America has just entered the second world war. On the homefront, the women of the country do their part for the war effort by joining shipyards and munitions depot, building weapons and tools for the distant front. As part of the effort, America's premiere superhero team joins the fight. However, crime doesn't stop in their absence. The situation results in the first superheroine appearing, to try and keep law and order in the United States by night, while working to support the troops during the day. The story itself would probably mostly be about what happens after the war, when the men come back and try to get women "back in the kitchen", including the Justice League expies, who try to get said superheroine to knock it off now that the men are back... basically, the story of feminism, filtered through the genre lens of superheroes.

Still a pony, so the scale is still broke. But its probably about 20℅ cooler than Venture's.

You know how offices have magazines and stuff, so people waiting can pass the time? My last job review had a few books; a biography of Steve Jobs, Assassinations, and Great Dictators. I think I might have been applying to work for a supervillain.

You know, I quite liked the Flood two-parter...but the Zygon two-parter is the best story of this season so far, hands down.

Where: Luthadel When: 1st Action Why: Because farming our children out to the government is a Queade family tradition! More significantly, I'm hoping that having a young noble join the Ministry might gain me some respect from the Ministry (and the Inquisition). Yeah, he's young... which means that the ministry gets to take on the responsibility of raising and educating him. Specifically, I want him to try and climb the ranks of the Canton of Hegemony, since the Law was what House Queade focused on before the Canton's popped up, and this would let us get some of that influence back again.
