We don't know how long Endowment was on Nalthis. Returned are a fairly recent concept on Nalthis, but that doesn't mean Endowment doesn't predate that.

Which is better: Writing 5,000 terrible words that need editing later, or a single, masterful paragraph of exquisite prose?

Well, just saw the first episode of the Flash.

Well. here's all my thoughts on the episode, albeit it in a messy jumble, so, er... sorry? I do think you have some good poitns, but... well. Liek I said, this is... more or less the summation of my opinions? (And minor spoilers for the first half of Gravity Falls season two? Just in case anyone is reading this)

Action 2: What: Senna Queade is contacting the Ministry and the Inquisition with a proposition: she wants to print a limited series of coins (using the Queade Family Mint) depicting significant milestones in The Final Empires history. She is asking for permission. Where: Luthadel When: G4T1A2 Why:They will be collectors items! Plus, I figure it will demonstrate my patriotism to the ministry and TLR, and I can earn a bit if money from selling them... And, of course, she'll print coins which depict the Queades prominently, raising their status. Any nobles who would like to be immortalised in this rare, limited edition can feel free to contact Senna with their bribes suggestions.

"Oh, never mind him. He's just a dragon, no big deal." Anyway. Always interesting to learn more about the enigmatic Bavadin, so thanks Seonid!

Enope. They start next week. So... I'll probably be inactive in this topic for a while.

Lord Queade took a sheaf of paper, an inkwell and a pen, and quickly scratched out a few words. The end of his duelling cane tapped the stone floor, attracting a servant. "Hand this in, will you," he said amiably, grinning. The manservant nodded, taking the page and scurrying towards the representatives. Tyren laid the duelling cane across his knee's once more, leaning forward. The truth was, he hadn't been paying much attention. The trial was important -obviously- and he had scribes taking notes to be pursued and filed later. But, really, the crime wasn't the most important part of the proceedings. People thought Tyren was an idiot. It was an image he liked to project. People were less likely to pay attention to idiots. They paid attention to the people who stood in the middle of the room and made big, grand speeches about conspiracies. They listened to the people who had all the documentation of the political machinations of the nobility of the Final Empire. They paid attention to the people who tipped their hands, and let everyone know just who it was that had their hands in every pocket. Tyren grinned, and awaited judgement.

Okay, so... I have some pony fic ideas. Specifically, I have some ideas about Sunset Shimmer, because she's awesome. Anyway, I was wondering; is there anyone here who vvolunteers as tribute who wouldn't mind me PMing them about stuff? I'd rather not post stuff until I get a decent amount of it written -I have a bad tendency to talk rather than do, and I really want to do these!- but I tend to work well if I can sound ideas off of people (if for no other reason than to stoke my ego ) Any takers?

I'll give it a try if you want. (Well, as my schedule currently is, anyway. If that changes, might need to drip out...) I'll think about character concepts and get back to you.

I figured it was a mix of Twelve mellowing after his epihihany last year, and the whole 'all of me is invited' thing. He isn't a good or bad man- he's an idiot! So now, he feels like he can play as more of an idiot... Whether that's accurate or not...eh. We'll see? This personality shift might just be a temporary thing (given his fears on what would happen), but... Yeah. Hoping we get him more serious again? Capaldi is good at playing that.

Favorite comic series/books?
Quiver replied to Darkness Ascendant's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Mind if I ask what kind of stories, or specific characters, you'd like yo read? I find that's the best way, really. Check books out if your local library, or ask at your local comic book store. There are some great classic series that can be recommended, or you can just pick up an issue of a character and dive right in. -
Favorite comic series/books?
Quiver replied to Darkness Ascendant's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Yeah, I get that. I'll pick up Marvel comics now and again, but I find it hard to get interested enough to actually -collect- them...which is a complete 180 from how I used to be. My main problem with Marvel is how much -and how often- they do their events. Case in point: I was reading Spider-Gwen, since it was an isolated world that didn't require collecting three or four other books to get the whole story. Then Secret Wars "cancelled" the book, and its coming back with Gwen in a bunch of other books and more 616 stuff. Which was what I wanted to avoid to begin with. DC has similar issues, of course, though DCYou seems to be moving away from that a little. I didn't collect any Batbooks besides Grayson, and didn't feel I was missing anything. -
Sorry Joe; meant to reply to the music question, never got around to it, and with the movies release, figure I'd just leave it... US release, of course. No idea when the UK gets it... >: D

I feel like I'm about to show how incompetent I am... Does anyone have any advice on how to create and develop plots? I tend to come up with an idea I like, or a concept I'd like to explore or a character or whatever... But I have no idea how to turn those ideas into an actual story. Any advice?

So. Music. I know there are at least some fans of Once Upon A Time on this forum, so I'll just leave this here...
