  1. Silverblade5, for the same reasons as the others.
  2. Random question: Has Vin's sister ever been named? I can't remember what age she was when their mother killed her, so maybe their mom didn't bother to name her... I'm just curious if Brandon has ever answered this. Minor point, and pretty sure it won't yield any massive cosmere revelations, but still... something I'm curious about.
  3. Saw you posted it in a different topic, so... I'll reply therer as soon as I can. In the meantime, I hope it went well and you get a good grade and seriously, why couldn't we get fun assignments like that... Also: "The Gulag of Fairyland". I don't have any idea what it might be about, but I really, really like that title.
  4. Sorry. Been meaning to post but been kinda out of it lately. Sorry everyone...
  5. I haven't even started to put any thought into it, since I would have to study regular archery first. (Gives me an excuse to try and get into it though... what? Stop looking at me like that! I thought archery was cool long before I started watching Arrow!) I was just thinking... well, on Roshar there is so much emphasis on the art of swordsmanship; styles, and stances, and so on. I'm just wondering if it would be possible to translate that to other weapons. Spears would seem kind of easy and obvious, archery... might be more difficult.
  6. Random question. I'm sure I read this idea somewhere, but I can't for the life of me think where. I keep thinking it might have been from Magician by Raymond E. Feist, but I can't find any kind of reference to it... So I'm throwing this out to you guys, to see if this is an idea I'm stealing from elsewhere (which... is why there isn't much thought into it, beyond the general concept). Obviously, swords have a pretty big role in fantasy novels. Heroes have swords with names, magic swords, swords than pop into existence abut ten heartbeats and can cut through anything... My point is, we love swords. Has anyone ever done the same idea with bows? I was thinking it might be cool to have a culture where, instead of how important swords are in most fantasy books (and to us in the real world), ranged weapons were the most ideal and prized form of combat. I'm sure I saw the idea somewhere, but I can't think where...
  7. I still haven't had a chance to watch these shorts. Buuuut... I doubt it. I suspect these characters might have roles in the movie (albeit minor oens)... though Vinyl did get her own short before Rainbow Rocks, and she turned out to be kind of important... I haven't watched it yet. From the image, I expect Murdershy. ALSO. Any of you read Friendship is Dragons? (Link is to the first page, since the current one has spoilers) Anyway, it's a web comic done in Darths and Droids-style; six people roll up character's for an RPG, and play out a series. It's a fun comic -and one of the things that has gotten me curious about D&D in general- so I figured you guy's might enjoy it.
  8. For my activity: I'm hoping to get a roleplay done later. I don't really have anyone in mind for voting since... well, like others have said, I hate voting to lynch people on day one, round one. It feels like it's being random. ...Incidently, why did I pick Sel, I haven't read Elantris and have to use the wiki to figure out what it's like for RP purposes, urgh.
  9. I just want to point out that we have no proof Kobolds mom isn't temporally displaced. I'm just saying that Kobold being a John Conner situation is a possibility.
  10. Kobold is a terrible fan. "Goku is the most powerful guy in fiction and wins everything." Wrong. Goku isn't even the most powerful character in Dragonball Z, and he loses his fair share of fights. The arc villains he personally defeats are Freiza and Buu. (Dragonball is a different story...but Gohan beat Vegeta and Cell, and Goku was stronger than Ginyu, but it was Krillen and Gohan who stopped him)
  11. You provide a very important public service! I mean...can you imagine if we didn't seal that blood, and just let it ooze over everything? Yuck.
  12. To be honest, given the projected scale of SA, I'd be surprised if we got any annotations for it before the Back Five. I suspect there's a lot of stuff in chapters which Brandon just can't talk about yet.
  13. So, this probably looks super defensive, and might just be a technicality of Joe using the masculine as the gender neutral form, BUT. Last paragraph, Odium is consistently referred to with masculine pronouns. I'm just saying' that -supposing that is an accurate description- it means at least some of the characters involved here can be ruled out as possible Hateshard. (The defensive part comes from 'Quivers character is a woman')
  14. Twifecta is your new ship name, and you guys are my Reckoners forum OT3.
  15. Speciesist. You could have offered a zebra, a Minotaur, a griffon, a draconequs...
  16. ...Huh? I think you'll have to explain that one...
  17. Welcome! ...er, supposing the cookies haven't scared you off? Have a pony!
  18. The other two Reckoner forum leaders are featured, so may as well finish the trifecta: Edgedancer
  19. First Class. I had zero expectations for that film, and it turned out awesome (rushed ending aside) Favourite Batman?
