    Today is going to be very long. I’m in youth, and we’re going to drive a few hours to the nearest temple, do some baptisms, and then we go to lunch somewhere. But that’s not the end of it. There’s also a dance. Which will take forever. And will be an hour drive back. Sorry for complaining. I’m pretty excited, just blowing off some stress about the day.

    Every Gyorn of Jaddeth ought to know what a svrakiss is! According to Shu-Dereth, the Svrakiss are the souls of men barred from entrance into heaven for hating Jaddeth in life, and so are condemned to wander Sel, bitterly cursing their fate and preying on the living. The Derethi believe that they had the ability to take over the bodies of living men and control their actions. When someone who follows Shu-Dereth has bad luck or a difficult time, they often believe that the Svrakiss are to blame. The Svrakiss are considered to be a representation of absolute evil.     What is this? I kind want to try it, but I don’t really understand the rules. What I can tell is: each book starts with four points, or hp, and you have to take one point away from one and add one to another? They can only go up to ten, and once one hits zero it leaves?

    Calling back to earlier in the conversation (I didn’t read the entire thing, so if I say something that has already been said, I apologize), VirtuousTraveler said all the Cosmere connections felt heavy handed. I respect your opinion, but in the Words of Brandon he said the he had decided to put them in all the time. He said that he used to feel worried about how some people would react when he put in all those connections, but now he doesn’t worry about that. I personally feel like he did really well. As to how you feel about Wayne, yeah, he is a little bit much sometimes, and some of the jokes are juvenile, but I feel like that might have been intentional. He’s going through a lot, and I think this is part of how that character might deal with it.
