  1. I win! While all of you were talking about jazz I was hatching a brilliant plan, and it paid off!
  2. Yes, I laughed. Also I’m winning Edit: I thought you were talking about the post, not the book. It definitely wasn’t the funniest joke in that book.
  3. I would consider that a mini SUV. I wish. TPBM likes “All Hail Bizanthranon” better than “Bizarre Anthropological Phenomenon”.
  4. I see that you are right, those scenes would be good. But I wouldn’t want it to be as silly as Lego Batman or something, because I don’t think it would be good to let the two different tones clash and mess it up.
  5. I hire Hoid to play his flute, and as apology for not letting you play instruments anymore I give you the fake sandwich.
  6. If you were to ask me what Sanderson work I would most like to be adapted, the answer wouldn’t be a Cosmere novel. It wouldn’t be Reckoners. It would be Skyward. Now you might ask, “What sort of format or type of adaptation would this be? Would it be live-action or animated? Would it be a movie or a tv series?” The answer would be an animated movie, but a specific type of animation. What is this type of animation, you ask. The answer is simple. A Lego movie. Not a goofy Lego movie, like all the rest, but one with a more serious tone. I’ll be honest, part of my reason for Lego is that starship explosions would look awesome. Also I feel like Spensa could totally look like a Lego figure. What do you think? Do you agree or do you think it would look dumb?
  7. Absolutely. TPBM drives a mini SUV. Or, I guess, if you don’t have a license you ride in a mini SUV.
  8. Uhhh… why are you going to explode??? Also I don’t think you would be able to splatter on us. This is, after all, a virtual conversation.
  9. The Music of the Ainur There was Eru, the One, who in Arda is called Ilúvatar; and he made first the Ainur, the Holy Ones, that were the offspring of his thought, and they were with him before aught else was made. And he spoke to them, propounding to them themes of music; and they sang before him, and he was glad. But for a long while they sang only each alone, or but few together, while the rest hearkened; for each comprehended only that part of the mind of Ilúvatar from which he came, and in the understanding of their brethren they grew but slowly. Yet ever as they listened they came to deeper understanding, and increased in unison and harmony. And it came to pass that Ilúvatar called together all the Ainur and declared to them a mighty theme, unfolding to them things greater and more wonderful than he had yet revealed; and the glory of its beginning and the splendour of its end amazed the Ainur, so that they bowed before Ilúvatar and were silent. Then Ilúvatar said to them: “Of the theme that I have declared to you, I will now that ye make in harmony together a Great Music. And since I have kindled you with the Flame Imperishable, ye shall show forth your powers in adorning this theme, each with his own thoughts and devices, if he will. But I will sit and hearken, and be glad that through you great beauty has been wakened into song.”
  10. “I want some chocolate milk, please. In a chalice, of course.”
  11. When you start a trend on a nerdy fansite about the things you say when something happens.
  12. I’m on board! We would probably put it in the “clans, clubs, and guilds” section or whatever it’s called.
  13. Actually, this is disproved by Cephandrius’ law of Gibletish, which states that 838~*33\8>23_%7. So no. One plus one is not two, it is -784983.847829763802748306539677777777777777777787777777777777777777777777777777777777… Brandon Sanderson’s books are the best.
