so i’m eating breakfast next to my 3 year old lil brother, and he’s sitting on my dad’s lap

and he looks up at him and goes “dad, it’s tomorrow, right?”

and my dad’s like “…no, buddy, it’s today.”

“but yesterday you said today was tomorrow.”

and then my dad just had this like introspective expression and was like “yeah, i guess today is tomorrow.”

just thought it was a cute interaction haha

so this happened AGAIN last night

this is the FIFTH time this month

i went to bed at one and this came in at 1:57 so i was absolutely tripping and thought i was dreaming until my mom came in and was like “girls come downstairs”

and i about fell down the stairs like eight times cuz i was carrying my giant blanket, pillow, and cat all at once while my head was spinning lol

thanks to the omadome (look it up if you’re not sure what that is), though, we didn’t get hit by the actual tornado 

the lightning and thunder were freaking INSANE though

brighter than the sun and shaking the whole house

my friend’s house actually got struck by lightning; they’re all okay but the house is completely shot and they were supposed to close on a sale next week since they’re moving 

so prayers for them would be really appreciated 

but yeah my mom pulled the murphy bed down and my sister and i slept downstairs, and my brothers did too (on mattresses)

so yep we’re alright but like this is insane. we haven’t had tornadoes for like several years and now… this

you know when you've used a word a lot

for a long time

like since you were about six years old

and you kinda liked using it

and you thought it was a perfectly fine word if used in lighthearted context

and then you find out it's a swear?

just finished my math final, so the last final i have is biology (which is actually the only one i'm worried about. if i don't do well i could lose my A in that class which would be tragic because i worked rlly hard for it >:|

also i'm rewriting the prologue i've posted here like 2 million times (yk the one) and it's gonna be so much better

the other one felt kinda stagnant and stale so yep
