  1. I don't think so, it never came up at any point. They have human slaves and Truthless, but at no point was it said that they had Parshmen. They were more aware of ancient history than other nations, so maybe they chose not to enslave Humanity's former enemies?
  2. The Scadrians, along with everyone else, will already know the Navigators can hear the Knell like a Seeker. But they don't know about the specifics, yet. Chances are the Scadrians will believe that what the Navigators do is unique to their Invested Art instead of trying to train their own Seekers, they'll probably try to find a way to gain the Navigators abilities themselves, be it through Hemalurgy or Unsealed Feruchemy. Though they'll be very careful about this, so as to not gain unwanted attention. Something I could see the Scadrians doing is staging a fake exploration, faking their ship being lost with all hands, while kidnapping their hired Navigator to take them to a blacksite to study their abilities. The Navigators need to be with the expeditions to new places in the Emberdark in person to help with navigation, which means that they will likely be privy to whatever is found. If they try to keep Navigator locked up and treated like a prisoner the whole way that could lead to problems like the Navigator refusing to work or other Navigators refusing to be hired to avoid such treatment. Sure, the Drominadians will keep whatever they oversee on the other world's expeditions a secret, that's just common sense, but it would definitely rankle the greater powers in the Cosmere to have to share any new discoveries that they want to keep private with an independent world who has no personal loyalty to them. Especially the Scadrians who are big on keeping useful secrets to themselves.
  3. Tarson was a Koloss-Blooded, so he was already stronger and healed faster than an average human, but combined with Pewter Savantism, he got shot in his arm, had it in a sling and within a few days at most, had mostly healed back to normal. A pewter savant, so longas they have plenty of pewter to burn, can likely sleep off any minor wounds in a single night, while major wounds could heal within a few weeks so long as they aren't completely fatal like a headshot. A bigger advantage is that other wounds, like an axe to the stomach that would be lethal to a normal person, can be survived by a pewterarm, allowing them the chance to heal and recover with enough medical attention, like Vin in the first book. For a pewterarm, lethal wounds for them would need to be 'instantly dead' for a regular person to bring them down for sure.
  4. Nowhere near to the same extent. Kandra can't make their own bones for starters or even fix theirs if they get broken. Though there is still a lot Kandra can do besides just shapeshifting into whatever creatures they eat, for example something MeLaan did for Marashi in Bands of Mourning was drink a drop of her blood, and make a skin graft for Marasi out of her own DNA so her body wouldn't reject it. So, there's some potential there. Memory and coordination? I think they'll need a Copper Blessing for that, though they don't have a centralized brain like humans, so maybe they might be able to figure out how to expand their brains throughout their bodies to increase their brainpower even without a Copper Blessing? Would probably make them a bit more vulnerable though, since they can have their main brain in a safe place inside their bodies but if it's too big then it'd be easier to get a brain shot on them. We know they can expand their muscles to increase their bulk, even without an Iron Blessing, so there's that. They could probably form more than just a single pair of eyes, maybe design a special skull so they can literally have eyes on the back of their head?
  5. No doubt that the Scadrians are going to try. They'll probably hate having to rely on a bunch of 'barbarians' to find their way around, especially since with how their services work, the Drominadians will be able to know what everyone finds, which would be annoying for a military fascist state to have anyone else to learn of their discoveries. Would probably need an amped up Seeker to have enough range though. Maybe Singers might be able to pull it off too? Maybe if they found a way to amplify their ability to sense Rhythms, maybe with a special Form? Songform? Oh man, that sounds way cooler than Navigators. Here's hoping they'll have a rebrand by Era 4.
  6. Because Seekers, and others that utilize a similar power, can sense pulses coming from the Grand Knell, the place where Ambition died and a 'Wound' was inflicted on the Spiritual Realm. The Knell is effectively the North Star/Pole of Shadesmar, allowing for limited navigation through the otherwise non-navigable Emberdark. What Navigators do is take this a step further and can sense interruptions in the pulses, allowing them to sense new locations and landmarks through the Emberdark. Which will allow significantly easier exploration and traversal of Shadesmar, as otherwise most civilsations are stuck either following prediscovered routes that others are aware of, or blindly searching the Emberdark with no way of knowing where they heck they are or where they're going. It's like the difference between navigating with nothing but a compass, and navigating with a sonar, I think? Edit: Navigators can also map out an entire Subastral very quickly, which is something that no one else can do anywhere nearly as easily. So, maps of Shadesmar made by Navigators will be very thorough, precise and easy to make.
  7. The main thing about Fused, besides their immortality, is that they only have one power compared to the Radiant's two. The epitome of the saying, 'Which is better, to have many powers or one power handled expertly?'. Twinborn Fused would go against the idea, at least for me it would. Here's some more ideas Sorrowful Ones: Fused with the power of Allomantic Brass. Thrillful Ones: Fused with the power of Allomantic Zinc. These two powers can be used in similar ways to achieve the same results, so they'd both be used for the same roles, which is to control the morale of the army, and helping ensure compliance from a conquered populace just like the Soothing Stations did in the Final Empire. Soothing away disobedience, and reinforcing loyalty and zealousness. They'd be used in interrogations, negotiations, aiding the influence of Unmade like Thrillful Ones helping directly incite the Thrill in others, and even using their powers to help attract specific types of Spren into an area. They'd both have such subtlety with Emotional Allomancy and at reading people's emotions, that even those trained to tell when their emotions are being tampered with would be unable to notice.
  8. Taravnagian's Boon/Curse may have changed the way he perceived his use of the Shard as a Vessel, as during his interludes he viewed Odium as two parts, one completely logical, and the other completely emotional. I don't think we've ever seen any other Vessel have this perspective, with dividing a Shard's Intent from just Odium into what I assume is 'Logical Hatred' and 'Passionate Hatred'. So, I don't think his Boon/Curse is still in effect, or maybe it just can't effect him now, but it has been a huge part of his life for years, he literally made a daily test for how intelligent he was on a particular day. And if perspective matters enough to Shardic Intents, even subconcious ones, then its very possible that Tarangian's view of himself as switching between two men, one smart and one emotional, has effected his ability to use Odium. But Honor is different now, its self-aware, it has more of it's own Identity, so Taravangian's own perspective might matter a bit less, at least when it come to Odium. Here's a crazy theory, there's a WOB that states that a Shard's Intent can be divided, an example being dividing Honor into 'Bravery' and 'Integrity'. So maybe, when Honor does likely split from Retribution, learning that the meaning of an Oath matters more than just the Oath itself, this might cause a part of Odium to splinter off as well, with part of Odium, the 'Logical Hatred' staying with Taravangian, but the part that is 'Passionate Hatred', instead splits off with Honor as well, which would also go on to gain its own self-awareness as well and truly become a god known as 'Passion', with Rayse's constant self-reinforcement/delusion finally coming to fruition, long after his own death.
  9. This Frochemy... it must be the Fourth Metallic Art created by Harmony! I'm kidding, but the simple fact is we hvae no idea since Harmonium seems especially designed to be very difficult to work with the standard Metallic Arts, at least directly. We simply have no idea. But do know that technically, it is not an alloy of Lerasium and Atium, it is it's own thing. It cannot be split with normal technology and requires more spiritual and magical means like Trellium and whatever mysterious step Wax did that no one else did. So a Lerasium/Atium alloy might grant Feruchemy, but Harmonium might not. We just don't know.
  10. Not very likely in my opinion, there would have to be a Perpendicualrity for the Eelakin to use, and there isn't one on Lumar. Worldhoppers are on Lumar, but it's because of Spaceships like the Sorceress's one. There is a Southern Scadrian group named 'the Hunters' as well, so the whole 'expert hunters society' is just a way some societies across the Cosmere develop, convergent evolution on a national scale.
  11. There is a WOB that goes into detail on the difference between Hemalurgic properties of Lerasium (All Abilities), Atium (Any Power) and Nicrosil (Investiture). Atium can steal any ONE power, so long as you know the right bindpoint, so its a universal Hemalurgic Spike. Nicrosil steals a piece of someone's soul, just a single piece of raw Investiture, like Breath. So, no abilities or powers, at least so far, in TLM there have been implications that more can be done with this... Lerasium steals all ABILITIES, which means things like Strength, Senses, attributes in general. And with the specific wording it sounds like a Lerasium spike doesn't just steal one thing at a time but uniquely steals ALL attributes of a person. So H-Lerasium doesn't steal powers, just more mundane things. Though this could be a way to make a kind of Captain America Super Soldier, imagine a person stuck with 4 Lerasium spikes that enhance EVERYTHING about them fourfold. That would either create an amazing superhuman, or a very grotesque monster that would make a Koloss look handsome, who knows for sure. Its also said that using Lerasium as a spike is a huge waste of its potential, like 'Using a nuke as a paperweight', which I'm inclined to agree because why go through the effort of making a spike for mundane abilities, when you can just burn it to permanently become a Mistborn.
  12. Probably, but I came up with them on the spot so I wasn't really focusing on names.
  13. I'm sure Kel wouldn't mind another go around with godhood, especially if it's more controllable than last time. Not to mention he has been questioning why some people can pick up Shards naturally, like Vin and Sazed, while others like himself can't. Though he would probably be hesitant due to it even further limiting his ability to Worldhop, but being able to create Lerasium on demand and gaining a more intimate understanding of the Metallic Arts would greatly aid his goal in democratizing Investiture for Scadrial, turning everyone into Mistborn or Full Feruchemists. Marsh is a better question, he's already pretty tired with life by TLM, only going forward due to wanting to atone for being Ruin's puppet. Godhood probably wouldn't appeal to him all that much. Of course, with the way Sazed is acting, I highly doubt he'd be willing to make Kelsier of all people Ascend again, he won't even tell him about how to make Lerasium, so giving him Godhood is likely the last thing on Sazed's mind.
  14. Just had an intrusive thought, the Fused 'wield their Surge with an intimacy that a Radiant will never know', and I just thought to myself, "What if there were Fused that were Mistings or Ferrings? How would centuries of practice with a single Metallic Art ability manifest?" So, I'm just going to chuck out a few ideas for fun, if you want to chuck a few ideas of your own go ahead. -Seeking Ones: A-Bronze Fused, with centuries of experience they could take the ability much further than even Marsh, they could break through most average copperclouds, sense Feruchemy and maybe even the rate that the Feruchemist is tapping or storing, maybe even being able to use Ambient Investiture like the Mists as sonar, letting them pick up on things through the mist, including people that aren't using Allomancy, with this being similar to... IotE Spoilers -Skimming Ones: F-Iron Fused, they'd be incredible at parkour and grappling, switching between exactly how much weight they'd need for any given task, even probably having a whole dedicated martial arts to selectively switching between more weight to land heavier blows, and less weight to make them more agile and roll with punches better. -Connecting Ones: F-Duralumin Fused, they'd be skilled in both stealth and manipulation, storing much if not all of their Connection away to lower peoples awareness of them, then tapping Connection in large stores to help them manipulate unsuspecting targets in gathering information, duping them into helping the Fused's objective, etc. -Hindsighter Ones: A-Gold Fused, being so used to the otherwise traumatizing Gold Shadows that they can influence just what kind of past they see, such as going left instead of right, then burning gold to see what would happen if they went right instead. They could use this to aid in investigations, gathering information that they would have otherwise missed or not known. And that's all I've got for now, let me know what you think.
  15. Maybe he only split part of his power? Like splitting half of Preservation and half of Ruin, thus leaving Sazed with two halves of each Shard, letting him still maintain a whole Shards worth of power? There is a WOB that states a Shard could be split, and its Intent could also be split up like splitting Honor into Integrity and Bravery. So maybe Harmony could split off two half Shards and split the Intents to even out his own Shards and make it easier for him to act? And make the resulting Half-Shards have Intents that better fit certain individuals? Like Survival being a part of Preservation's Intent would fit Kelsier for sure.
  16. Sounds right to me, you can't live without things like Health or Speed but you can live without sight or hearing. So Windwhisperers should have the easiest time storing large amounts of attributes much more quickly than other Ferrings. Maybe? If you're storing all of your Proprioception and are using Duralumin to burn allyour pewter up in one big burst, then I don't see why this wouldn't work. And that's kind of why A-Pewter mixed with most if not any Feruchemical ability is busted, since you can store more of an attribute at once than a normal Ferring can without any drawbacks. Now what would tapping a massive amount of proprioception do to someone? That's the more interesting question.
  17. Thats a good point. Also, funny thing, the answer to this, besides "Don't drink Investiture if you don't know where it came from" is probably just 'Therapy'. I'm not sure if there's a shrink qualified enough for the Survivor. Has anyone else noticed that most of the more 'problematic' members have strong ties to the Malwish (Iyatil and Dlavil being descendants) or have strong ties with such people? Maybe they're just playing it safe and are assuming that these scattered remnants know enough secrets to be dangerous to them and are just trying to stamp them out for their own safety? Ialai did say to Shallan that the Ghostbloods wouldn't let her learn secrets that could hurt them, implying that she's familiar with the Ghostbloods and how they work, which a shadow group like the Ghostbloods would see as a loose end better left tied. Allegedly, Jasnah had several members of their assassinated, but I don't think we have confirmation on that from Jasnah. Maybe they tried to kill her because she was one of the only people who was actively trying to stop the True Desolation and was actually making a bit of progress to that goal. The Ghostbloods wanted the True Desolation to happen, or at least Kelsier confirmed that they helped make it happen, maybe even directly if Axindweth, the Terriswoman who gave Ulim to Venli, was actually a Ghostblood Agent the whole time. I do agree that there's something we aren't seeing here, but with Iyatil and Mraize's deaths, I doubt we'll be seeing what exactly their angle was anytime soon.
  18. There's definitely something going on with Adolin, the Deadeyes, and the idea of a Promise rather than an Oath. Not to mention how their Shardplate is powered without Stormlight. Though Promise for a Shard names sounds a bit too on the nose, like calling Odium 'Hatred', accurate but not catchy. How about Vow? A vow is described as 'A solemn promise'. So maybe Honor will become Vow. Actually, a few Splinters of Honor split off before it merged with Odium to become Retribution, and it was said in a WOB that if a Shard was split up into a few pieces, they could each have a differing Intent, a piece of the definition of Honor. WOB So maybe, a piece of Honor is with Adolin and his Unoathed, powering their Shardplate while watching them to learn from them. And that piece of Honor will alter its Intent of 'Honor' to 'Promise' or 'Vow'.
  19. Felt have 10 days to interrogate Kalak, so maybe there was some progress on that end, though likely despite Iyatil, not because. Felt reported his findings directly to Kel, and did not use the Raysium Dagger on Kalak as he was told to by Iyatil. More convenience, since the other known stable Perpendicularity is in the Horneater Peaks, which involves a weeks journey up and down the mountains to access. Also, likely because the Horneaters are loose ends who could end up blabbing about them to other Worldhoppers if they aren't careful. But also strategy since every Worldhopper uses that one and not the Oathgates. Exclusive access would be a massive advantage. Because their leader is Restares, aka Kalak a Herald. They are led by a target they're hunting, and also know things that the Ghostbloods want to know, like how to move Stormlight between planets. Warlight, but probably. They already know how to 'Unkey' Stormlight to get it to others worlds by WaT, all they really needed were a bunch of coatinaers (Perfect Gemstones which they already gathered) and a means of Realmatic Transition that they can privatize for their own use (They tried to claim te Oathgates, but failed. And now Cultivation's Perpendicularity is gone and they don't know about the Well of Control). When Roshar becomes open to Worldhoppers again through both the time bubble going down and the Perpendicularity becoming known, they will try again. Though likely with even more caution, since there is now a very hostile Shard as powerful as Harmony and far more willing and able to act lurking around. Because they didn't come to Roshar looking for allies, they came looking for a way to exploit their abundant natural Investiture and gather up all the secrets they can to empower themselves and rid themselves of anyone who would be Cosmere-Aware enough to stop them. Everyone who isn't a member of theirs is just a tool to get what they want, or an obstacle to be removed. The results of an organization holding so tightly to secrets, that working in the open with others is anathema to them. At least for Iyatil's group.
  20. Maybe if one has an intimate understanding of Rhythms and Lights, they might be able to figure something out? We know that one can merge Lights like Stormlight and Voidlight through harmonizing the Shard's Pure Tones, we know that you can create Anti-Lights by inverting the Tones. And we know it's possible to Unkey the Lights, as that's what the Ghostbloods were doing and said they knew how to do during WaT. So maybe, just maybe, with a much greater understanding of Pure Tones, one could change Stormlight into Voidlight? And then, if they learned Endowment's Pure Tone, they could turn Stormlight into Breaths? Or would that just create Endowment-Light? Giftlight? Would that be the same thing as Breaths, since those are also gaseous Investiture like Stormlight, just 'stickier' thanks to being from Endowment. How one would accomplish this I'm really not sure, but one would likely need an even greater understanding of these things than Navani and Raboniel combined. Vasher might be able to figure it out, he was the one who invented Anti-Voidlight for Gavilar, so he's been messing with Lights and Tones long before anyone else.
  21. It definitely didn't help, but I'm pretty sure the main implication on why this is happening is because of a slight edge that Ruin has over Preservation. Because back when they first made Scadrial, they made a deal and part of that deal was for Preservation to give up a part of his Investiture to humanity so they would have slightly more Preservation in them than Ruin. Balance was once maintained when Preservation tore a part of Ruin's power off of him and made the Pits of Hathsin, but the Pits don't exist anymore and it seems that Harmony won't willingly create Atium for some reason. The flaw lies with Sazed himself, I think. If the problem is that there's too much Ruin and not enough Preservation than he could just remake the Pits and siphon off Ruin's Investiture until they were balanced again, but he hasn't. Maybe Sazed wants this to happen and become Discord, we don't know anything about what will happen afterwards, other than some ominous implications.
  22. Hoid didn't say that, he said "This is the story of Nohadon andhow he saved Roshar" and then said "The gods imbued ten warriors with power beyond what almost any soldier has known". At no point did Hoid say Nohadon create the Heralds. Based on what you've said, I'm not sure if you've read Wind and Truth, so I'll spoiler this for you just in case. WaT Spoilers
  23. If you have even one Soulcaster, you can basically mass print aluminum, it's not that he can't, it seems like he just won't. I think that a reason might be that he doesn't want just anyone who isn't fully loyal in his army using it, especially if they learn of its ability to block mind influences when worn around the head, like perhaps some Regals wearing aluminum foil hats suddenly get their sense of self back and realize "Hey, this Odium guy is messing with our heads just like the humans did!" and decide to rebel en masse, then Odium could have a rebellion of Singers, who have the ability to use Forms of Power without their heads getting messed with. It's just not something he wants to risk dealing with.
  24. I wonder if Shadowform Singers were BAM's attempt to create her own undying warriors like the Fused, only attempting to be more ethical about it than Odium. Maybe trying to have them be able to form bodies out of pure Investiture like the Heralds rather than possession? Only when she was imprisoned, the Shadowforms were hit harder than the others and their Invested bodies evaporated but their souls remained Invested to inhabit their own Gemhearts, unable to die or create a new body? Oh, as for new confirmed lore and not mad rambling theories, a member state of the Azish, Alm, has been secretly taking in Singers who want to stay out of the wars and be neutral, which is nice. I guess with the Almish and the Iriali treating the Singers well, Rlain won't be the only Essai anymore, and probably never was, which is even nicer.
  25. There's a whole bunch about Rall Elorim. 1) Rall Elorim is a Dawncity that has frequently changed between human and Singer hands during Desolations. 2) The Iri Singers aren't super keen about serving the Fused, since the Iriali didn't treat them as bad as other nations did, some even worship the One. 3) There is an anti-Fused resistance made of both Humans and Singers. 4) In a slums called the Dirgehollow, it is haunted because of a bunch of Gemhearts that contain the trapped souls of 'Shadowform' Singers that Ba-Ado-Mishram made long ago. 5) The Heral Pailiah lives in the deepest tunnels, stealing 'mementos' from people to remember them by in a madness induced obsession. 6) There are rumors that there are Shardblades and Plate buried under Crem on the 'Traitor's Path', which likely leads to Feverstone Keep. 7) Iri's Triumvirate leaders now have 3 more members, a trans Envoyform Regal, a Deepest One who wants to destroy all resistance and a Devastating One who 'has her own agenda'. Cannot remember any of their names for the life of me. And that's about it for Rall Elorim. Don't quite remember if there were any other lore drops in the World Guide, not ones that caught my attention anyway.
