  1. Yes, exactly. I think that it is like a spring that has more energy when it is compressed - there is still the Mc^2 term, but there is aditional term for the potential energy.
  2. There is both the regular matter-energy equivalent and another investiture-energy equivalence. So the equation should be E = Mc^2 = I *k For some constant k.
  3. I know - it was a joke
  4. I don`t think it is related to anti-investiture. Anti investiture wuold have exploded when touching the harmonium. The ttrellium caused the explosion only when the harmonium was "almost separted". And on other things in the chapter: VanDell felt really suspicious when he went to talk with Harmony by himself and telling the group that he need to join them without them able to verify it was what Harmony (if he did talk to Harmony) said. But then he seemed to encourage Wax to talk with Harmony so maybe he is not working for the set or something like that. It is funny that when Wayne is acting like a rich guy he is doing the rich people version of theft: making a lot of money by corrput investment. I don`t understand how Short and Tall Boring (I assume they are brothers and their parents have wierd naming habits ) didn`t notice that - they know about his connection to Wax. Maybe the basin haven`t developed laws against such things yet? * I did not understand what the Boring brothers meant in: Does someone understand what this is about? * It is good to see that he finally decided to stop harrasing the daguther of the guy he killed - he is upgrded to slightly less horible person.
  5. It was said that the godmetals are the bodies the shard and the vessel is the mind behind it so you can say it is a poetic language.
  6. The god metals are made from the power of the shard, not from the vessel holding it. It is just named after the vessel. Preservation`s god was the same during the times of Leras, Kelsier and Vin.
  7. We also know that there is a regal form that gives future sight. From the song of secrets in Words of Radiants: Since they had this ability during the desolations it caused the humans to associate future sight with Odium`s forces.
  8. You probably meant a coppermind (pewtermind stores strength). In addition, Rhytm of War spoilers:
  9. This does not answer whether it is a new storm - maybe he crated a new one or maybe he moved the existing was faster so it croosed the sea faster than regular.
  10. Vituousity was mentioned by Hoid in the preview chapters of SP3. Hoid said that she splintered herself.
  11. Investiture is a third side of the matter-energy duality, which means that investiture, matter and energy can turn into one another are in some sense are the same thing. This means that investiture should have mass, but as far as I remember we never saw anyone in the books noticing it so probably it is very small amount of mass that cannot be sensed without very advanced measuring devvices. In conclusion: Probably technically yes, but not noticable amount.
  12. Plus, as the Stormlight Archive is about 11,000 years after the shattering (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/108/#e1355) or about this timescale it is possible that the languages diverged so much from the original Yolish that the similarities are no more noticable. In the real world linguistic, the oldest proto-languages are speculated to be about 8,000-5,000 years old (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proto-Indo-European_language#Historical_and_geographical_setting) and languages that diverged earlier no longer share any noticable similarities.
  13. This man is acctually wit (also known as Hoid) ,you can see Shallan recognizing him later in WoR when they meet. He does know a lot more then most other people on roshar - this is because he is a worldhopper with knowledge of a lot of magic systems in the entire cosmere (he appears in most other cosmere books as well).
  14. I don`t think so - In era 1 we saw that someone spiked hemulargically was reppeling the mists when burning metals. I think it means they are using Ruin investiture to power the allomancy and not Preservation`s. Or atleast the whole procces toghether is still considered "of Ruin".
  15. We saw the trellium spike reppeled from the other hemulrgic spikes which are of ruin (since hemulargy is of ruin).
  16. Yes - the only confirmed characters to hold/ have held a dawnshard are Rysn and Hoid. There is a WoB that there is another dawnshard holder we saw on screen somewhere but it is unknown who it is. Secret Project spoilers
  17. In the Dawnshard novella it is explicitly stated by Nikli that the Dawnshard were used to kill Adonalsium.
  18. Ohh right! I forgot that the interaction with hemulargy and allomancy are intercations with Ruin and Preservation which are part of Harmony.
  19. It seems that the intent behind Trellium is not only "opposed" to Harmony but to all other investiture, as the spike is reppeled from all other investiture. It seems to be another hint that Trell is Autonomy. In addition I find it interesting that Trellium can be used to detect investiture which is something that untill now the main way to do was by white sand.
  20. I always assumed that they are not really kandra and suit just used the only name he knows for "magical servants of god". Examples in spoilers: SA I think it is very unlikely to be a kandra that started working for the set because harmony could know that very easily.

    Yolen

No. For example Hoid (and all the original vessels) are from Yolen.
  22. sDNA is just another name for the spirit web of someone - it is like DNA in the sense that it sontains the spiritual information about this person. It does not have the structure of "physical" DNA.
  23. I think that he has the memories of "the power" but not of the human vessel - this is why sazed remembered what ruin and preservation powers did but not what happened before the powers were "created" so he didn`t know about the shattering.
  24. Another clue that trell is related to autonomy is that not only there is someone on taldain named Trell but some of the names of taldain contain the word Trell (e.g. the lord Mastrell) which means it is a naming convention there.
