  1. It won`t spoil the plot of SA - you basically see him in a wierd state and won`t know how he got there (it probably happens after SA4, maybe in SA5). But he will reference some things that might spoil some reveals in SA. I won`t recomend reading those chapters untill after Oathbringer + dawnshard, It is probably fine to read it before RoW (atleast I didn`t noticed the chapters referencing any reveals from RoW).
  2. I agree. It is clearly based on Hoid and Frost`s letters. Can you link this fanfic? Now I might want to read it.
  3. There are a lot of theoretical posibilities but we haven`t saw most of them. Our main Bondsmith PoV (Dalinar) doesn`t know much about it so I can imagine that in a future book we will learn that when trying to do more complex things (like most what you suggested) there are some limitations. I hope that in KOWT we will learn more about what bondsmiths really can do and what are the limitations with Dalinar wanting to learn, Ishar (maybe0 wanting to teach and Navani as bondsmith can test it as a scientist. *I am sorry if this post is unclear. English is not my native language and I feel my translation was bad this time
  4. The pink stuff and everything else he creates.
  5. It is too late The "big reveal" is mentioned in TLM part 2. But don`t worry, RoW is still a great book even if you this already (I read RoW before mistborn so I didn`t understood there was a reveal when I first read it).
  6. Its "gauseus investiture" and seems to act similar to a gas so it is not plasma.
  7. Brandon realesed the first few chapters of secret projects 4 (Note that spoiling them is not allowed in this forum). Survive being a dawnshard is just a theory - there is no confirmation for it.
  8. I don`t think your allomatic strengh change when you store or tap weight. The force applied is still the same but it will affect you less if you are heavier. When tapping weight Wax would be able to push harder without being pushed back as much.
  9. When steelpushing the same force is applied on you as on the metal yoou push so what you propose won`t work. It is the same physics as trying to pull the shield up physically.
  10. Kaladin refers to it as multiple deaths, WE only have one of their names.
  11. In RoW chapter 10 we learn that some radiant have died in the battles (presumably against heavenly ones): One of the dead radiants was named Vratim. I think this is all the information we get about them. So radiants have died in battles but none of those we know.
  12. Ahhh.... I didn`t understand you want matter that we can hold in your hand. In this case it seems that @Just a Lifetime gave a better answer than I can
  13. I understand that. Why do you say it will have negative electric charge?
  14. I don`t understand what you mean. In the black matter example it won`t have electric charge since it doesn`t interact with photons.
  15. The interactions of particles are mediated by force particles (e.g. photons which transfer the electromagnetic force) so they would need to have interaction with (at least one) of the force particles. For example, one hypothesis for what is the dark matter (I am not sure what the current opinion on this in the physics community) is that it is particles that don`t interact with photons or with the nuclear forces but do have mass (=Interact with the force of gravity via the gravity particles, gravitons). This is what causes it to be undetect by telescopes but still have gravitational effect on the galaxies.
  16. Probably there was also a massive Honor involvment in the oathpact - I don`t think it is a regular bondsmith power.
  17. This is what I assumed. Honestly, untill your comment I haven`t thought of the idea that the systems are blocked for the same reason. I assumed that each planet had its own problems that prohibited travel there and maybe there is a reason those problems happened in around the same time (i.e. shards preparing/ making defences against Odium/Autonomy) but there is no direct connection between the different planets. Thinking back, I probably assumed that because we haven`t seen in the cosmere massive effects between different planets so I assumed it hasn`t happend. But your idea of single cause is also very possibe.
  18. I interpreted the imrisoned spren as Ba-Ado-Mishram. Shallan doesn`t know it but she is starting a path that will lead to searching BAM. The knowledge is about the imrisonment of BAM that caused the recreance. The Mother of Machines dancing with liars is Navani and Raboniel trying to fool eachother. "She must admit that the worst lies have been the ones she tells herself." refers to Navani`s lack of self-confidence. This is very vague and there might be even other interpretations that makes sense, or maybe we will find out after the next books that it is acctually talking about something else.
  19. TLM spoilers are not allowed in this forum. Please delete the remark about it
  20. I think that human-sized (e.g. dogs) animals have more inevstiture than drabs, but this is mainly because I think they have almost they same amount as humans. It is possible that Brandon does`nt think likewise and humans do have more invetiture than animals.
  21. I believe that sensing spren is part of lifesense (I don`t think Zahel has enough breath for the 7th heightening) which is acctually sensing invetiture. Drabs have lesss inate investiture so they are hard to sense, but maybe it is possible to sense them via lifesense with enough experiencce (though we never saw this is). Yes, both animals have innate investiture so I think they could be sensed enough without the spren-bond. Ryshadium will be easier to sense than other horses because they are more invested.
  22. Breaking an oath by a shard is possible but it gives the other shard an opening to attack you. In the case of Harmony Ruin could use it against preservation but as they are both held by Sazed he is not using this oppurtinuty. In a WoB brandon explained that and added in a very cynical voice "This does leave Ruin with more advantage in this situation, but they're the same individual, so I'm sure that's just fine! No problems at all! Everybody's doing just great." It might mean that this will have effect on the plot in the future
  23. For the discussion the reference to Roshar is at chapter 39: Another way to understand it I thought of now is that the travel is unavailable to the Ghostbloods specifically - maybe the radiants have won, they control roshar and after Shallan`s arc in RoW they stop any known GB agent trying to pass.
  24. I chose Shallan (and would choose her even if Kaladin was an option). Maybe in the future I will change my favorite to Jasnah but we haven`t seen her POV enough yet.
