I wouldn't phrase it as he uses his blood. There is a scene where Vasher uses the color of his blood that has been spilled on his trousers. So he does run around with gray blood on him but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Yep. I mean, come on, that's just greedy. There are us folks here who want more books on Sel and Nalthis. Scadrial's already getting a dozen books.
-
Why would Cultivation screw with his head? She has more reason than most to oppose Odium. For her, it's personal because of Tanavast. Darkness is enough of a nutjob on his own.

It's a very interesting article and all that, but... wow... I am glad Brandon didn't call the series Oathshards. The worst name ever.

He uses Feruchemy to have limited foresight into the future. He doesn't precisely know what's going to happen but only that something will happen. That's as much as Brandon divulged so far. You also might want to read this article on Coppermind: http://coppermind.net/wiki/Hoid

Makes sense. It all depends on what kind of judiciary system we're talking about of course. I can't remember reading anything about courts of law. Maybe whoever is the highest ranking lighteyes in a place gets to act as a judge. Citylord in towns and so on. I'm also guessing darkeyes don't get lawyers at all. Whoever's the authority probably listen to witnesses and decides the verdict. Edit: Oh, I forgot. The duels between lighteyes are officiated by women who are called highjudges. I don't know whether that has anything to do with law or not.

Wow, yeah. I completely forgot about surgeons. I think that's the job for you Kadrok. Assuming you're not squeamish with blood.

You can either become a stormwarden or an ardent. Both has its downsides. For stormwarden, that's the very real possibility of starving since employment is going to be a little hard to find because of a severe lack of highstorms to predict. For an ardent, it is going to be finding a Brightlord to watch over you so you don't rise above your station. You can completely topple our society if you're not careful. No one wants the Hierocracy, so be careful if you go this way.

My theory is at the end of the fifth book the Knights Radiant will be re-founded and in the next five books they'll fight whatever Odium throws at them in a more organized way.

Congratz to Weiry and anyone else who contributed for Coppermind's newest exemplary articles. edit: Plural. Nice. Also, I'd like to offer the Kandra article as a potential candidate for exemplary. Sections need to be redone and lots of citation are needed but the content seems to be there. I think it may turn out very well with some work.

Or maybe Eshonai is looking for Dalinar hoping to end the war.
-
More interesting than the chapter is, I think, the epigraph: So, things are changing. Is this because they discovered the storm form or because they've seen a Surgebinder? Or something else.
-
I thought the places on the Shadesmar maps were all places that corresponded to major Shardworlds. I remember topics where people tried to match the worlds with them.
-
Yeah, the Soulcasting-Surgebinding division is a pretty common mistake. Either each of the Windrunner abilities and Soulcasting are their separate magic systems or they are all subsets of Surgebinding. It doesn't make sense to categorize Soulcasting separate from Surgebinding. Same goes for Lightweaving and other abilities we're going to see.

Sazedium!!! It even has a nice ring to it.

I wouldn't call Renarin unjust but where has he shown that being just is an important part of his personality? If I had to describe him, I'd say he is a smart and thoughtful and loyal guy who wants to impress his father and adores his brother. As for Adolin, I find him to be an annoying person and hope he doesn't become a Surgebinder. Kholin family has enough potential Radiants as it is.

Windrunners' and Edgedancers' Second Ideals come from their first divine attributes, protecting and loving. It doesn't mean that's true for all orders but I find it likely that would be the case. Maybe that could be one of the other Ideals.
-
I think Dustbringer fits Renarin best. He is fairly obedient. Not sure trying to run to Dalinar during the chasmfiend fight is bravery or insanity though.

I added Appearance&Personality and History sections to the Ashravan article. It's a good article but I don't think it's exemplary either. His personality especially feels too short. I rewrote the Zu article. I think it's complete.

I think Wayne rubbed off on people. What's with everybody eating their hats?

Bloodsealing is done too.

As most of you know, there are 843 stub articles in the Coppermind. That is almost half the articles in the entire wiki. It's too much and with each book there are going to be more articles and it's going to be harder to keep the wiki up to date. WoR is coming out in a few months and that's going to mean dozens of new articles and more of the existing to be updated. So maybe we should do something about it. Here's what I'm proposing. There are a total of 45 articles on The Emperor's Soul. The book itself is very short. There is relatively not much information on the Theoryland interview database, I've checked. I am not sure what gems are in the forum though, so maybe we can appoint someone to dig up the information so we can add it to the wiki. All in all, TES articles are by far the easiest to bring to completion. I think a few people can make all the articles "good" or "complete" in a remarkably short time. Hopefully we can make an exemplary or two as well. All articles are listed here: http://coppermind.net/wiki/Category:The_Emperor%27s_Soul So who wants to help?

I've started rewriting Galladon's article.

WoT: Gawyn Trakand. You know how there are characters you love and characters you love to hate? I hated hating Gawyn. He annoyed the daylights out of me. I wish he'd have just disappeared. SA: Nalan
