I sang backup vocals for the Easter Sunday service this morning - and I didn't get nervous! Like, at all! So that was awesome  

Finished book two of the Wheel of Time! The Great Hunt was SO GOOOD but not as good as The Eye of the World... but I've just started The Dragon Reborn, so we'll see what happens  Also panicked because I realised the books I borrowed aren't gonna last the two weeks of holidays so... haaaaaa

Well. I stayed up all night :P. 

It is now 7:00 in the morning and I have to go to school in a little bit. 

Don't worry though, I had a good reason! I was working on an essay that was due yesterday, but am only halfway done with. I was able to get about 400 words written out of the 1,800 minimum requirement so that's good. I could have done more, but my brain decided that that was boring so I started writing a short story. 

I think it's funny how people say that if you're sleep deprived you'll be depressed, but I'm going on 20-ish hours with no sleep and I feel way less depressed than usual!

Anyway, my rant about how incredibly unhealthy my sleep schedule is is now over. 

I kinda wanna see if I can go a full 48 hours

Okay, so I was wondering if any of y'all have heard of an auditory illusion called Shepard tones. They are an interesting phenomenon where there is a series of notes that seem to be infinitely ascending or descending. It can apparently drive people insane and can actually cause high anxiety levels and nausea and other things similar to those. I went down about an hour long rabbit hole about them, and they are fascinating.

Woe is me 

I thought i just didnt know what to read 

But i think i have reached that most dreaded of all problems 

the reading slump  

im not going to try to force myself to read 

Reading is an activity not a chore, so im not even going to beat myself up about it. (Is it just me or do all readers do this? That reading is such a pivotal part of your personality, when you dont feel lile reading it feels bad?) 

Right now i just wanna binge watch The Haunting of Bly Manor and read Tomarry fanfiction and thats A-okay

So, I, um, may have spent the entire day reading all of Secret Project 2 between General Conference sessions while simultaneously neglecting a chemistry test review and a US history essay and ACT prep.

It was a good book, though.

I'm leaving for London in an hour! Never been abroad (aside from a brief stint in Canada ) so I'm really excited!

So there's this masquerade church dance that's coming up, and I'm considering just going in full plague doctor gear.  I don't think my mom will let me, but it's fun to dream, right? I can just imagine it now, walking on to the dance floor, dragging a body behind me, screaming 'the plague is coming, the plague is coming!'. All the people, running in terror as I swish my floor length leather skirt. Laughing manically as I throw leeches at people. Sighhh...

(Seriously though, google plague doctor outfits. They're so cool.)
