Things have been... hectic nonetheless.

you know that feeling you get when you've found that perfect piece of fiction-whether music, show, or novel- that just hits right and feels like it was tailor made for you? 

I started watching Lockwood and Co and guys its like everything ive been looking for 

I cannot wait to read the books 

But i have finals  

i will have to wait till march 27 

after that, im going to devour these books

I already posted this on the Members of the Church thread, but it was an incredible experience for me, so I'm going to put it here too. It's about my beliefs.

I had a really spiritual experience two nights ago.

I haven't really mentioned this on here before but, since I'm the youngest in my family, I'm the only sibling at home. 

And... it sucks sometimes. I miss my siblings so much. It's a big gap between me and my next youngest sibling... but we're close. And... it's really hard, knowing that to some/one of my siblings, my home... their home, once... will never be their home again. My brother... has a home of his own. And I barely remember the time before he left home. 

And that hurts.

And hearing in books about sibling rivalries and among friends... they don't seem to care about their siblings. They don't seem to care, when their brothers and sisters leave home, that the people they've grown up beside aren't there anymore. It feels, sometimes, like I'm the only person in the world who misses my siblings. I just felt... alone in feeling this kind of pain. I was curled up in the corner of my bed when I felt like I should go to the window.

And then I looked out the window, and saw the moon and thought "we've been on that!" And it reminded me of this video:

I have a testimony that He knows us. All of all of us. And He loves us. All of all of us.

I just had a startling realization of how much of a grudge I have against chicken noodle soup. I absolutely refuse to eat it when I'm sick because I feel betrayed that I don't normally keep it down well.

So anyways when I probably should have had something like chicken noodle soup for dinner today, I refused and instead ate fish tacos.

There's something weird about listening to a song in another language and knowing that these aren't just random vocals, there are actual words behind it, but not knowing at all what the words are talking about.

It's a strange sensation, just listening and trying my hardest to glean some kind of meaning from the sounds that are distinctly lingual, yet just out of reach...

I'm starting to get hit with a very intense case of senioritis now that I've gotten into college. But hear me out—this is what a typical school day for me is like

Period 1: 10 minute Gov activity then free time
Period 2: Free reading period
Period 3: Spanish (AKA movie-watching period)
Period 4: Meditation in Gym
Period 5: Study Hall
Period 6: Lunch
Period 7: Strings
Period 8: Psych (aka throw stuffed elephants at each other)

But the thing is, I'm not even taking the easy classes! Like, this is the hard version of senior year! What?

I'm not complaining about the lack of work (the first half of this year was like the hardest time of my life), but it is making me question the point of these few months in the first place.

Also who wants to join the profile picture chaos
