- Guard things are happening! Tryouts and such! There's a thing after school today but today school gets out at 2 and the thing starts at 3. SO I'm gonna go exist and maybe practice the dancing stuff they're making us do in the little park area connected to the school. All the flowers are blooming on the trees and its beautiful. And we do actual flag work stuff today!
- My mom is going to the BYU Women's conference and she leaves tonight. I'm not old enough yet and with all the color guard stuff I wouldn't be able to go anyways. So instead I'm going to be here doing school and watching small children while my dad does his bishop and lawyer things.
- Band leadership and guard lists are supposed to come out this weekend and the band directors are pretty good at sticking with when they say they're gonna put up lists.
- My school friends made me cry again today. I think I might be crying too much recently.
- I want to write a poem poem not a color poem but I don't know what to write about does anyone have any ideas?
- Protein shakes and such are surprisingly sweet.

So last night I went to a Smash bros tournament. 'Twas a fairly unique experience. I had fun! Got to play with a couple of the top 10 players in NY.
I may have gone 0-2 in set count but I kept it close, and I very nearly won the second set. I think I just need to work on my nerves. That in particular was difficult cause I got put on the main livestreamed setup that was on like 5 different screens in the venue
I wanna do better next time, and I know I can

why is it so hard to tell people about the things you’ve done.
i had to step outside for a moment at work because my mind was running rampant with anxious scenarios because of what i’m about to tell some people.
i’m so nervous, what i did was pretty bad, and i don’t know how people will think of me after they know.

So.
Today is my Shardiversary.
It has been one year since, after quite a while lurking, I decided to join this community. Little did I know that the choice would mark a turning point in my life.
As I slowly got involved in the activities on the Shard, I made friends. Connections. One of the first friends I made was The Wandering Wizard, who, though I didn't realize it at the time, lived in the same city as me. After some social deduction (and some off handed mentions of penguin...excrement...) I realized where he lived, and managed to meet up with him.
A month or two later I met Cellist and Ranryu, and we got them to join too. During this era a bunch of other Sharders, many that I knew in real life and even more that I didn't, joined, and I somehow became popular.
I fit in this community now. I have a place. I have friends that I can confide in, friends that know how to help me when I need help. Joining this site has given me friendships in real life and made them stronger, but it's also let me connect with so many amazing people, people who think like me, people who I'd been looking for for a long time.
My time here has helped me realize who I am, I think. I've been able to greater understand my interests and goals and values in the last year, and while there were a great number of factors in that, this site, and the people here, have been a huge part in it.
I'm glad all of you became Sanderfans and decided to come here at one point or another. Because you being here has been a huge blessing in my life.
Thank you all, and here's to many more years!

Happy Shardiversary, Bookwyrm!!
You're a very insightful, caring person, and I consider myself lucky to know you. You're going to do great things in this world—I just know it!

JAZZ BAND CONCERT WOOOOOO!!!!
I love jazz band. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done, hands down. For once, no disaster halted our performance, and we were in tune!!
The varsity jazz band was phenomenal!! I hope I can be in a group that good one day.
post-concert adrenaline rush. This is fine.
SpoilerNow who’s ready for the post-concert adrenaline crash and subsequent week of feeling depressed for no good reason?

That's so fun!
Did you get to solo?

HAPPY BORTHDAY!!!!!! You’re awesome and I tried to get the timezones right but this may or may not be the day before or after your birthday…
Anyway, you’re an absolutely wonderful person and I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day!

Today, I officially entered the realm of adulthood! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today. Y'all really made me smile
'Twas my last birthday at home and the last one of high school, which makes me kinda sad, but it was a wonderful day.
Except for the part where at track my coach made us do 40 minutes of core and I died. We don't have to talk about that. I got to order some excellent specialty pizza from a local restaurant, which was fantastic, and finished the night with lemon meringue pie! Also, my dad bought me a Bridge Four hoodie! I'm very excited to wear it. I wonder if any Sanderfans will come up to me after noticing the design...I hope they do, at least!
Photo:
ALSO ALSO ALSO this is unrelated to everything else but I found out tonight that BRANDOSANDO is speaking at my cousin's high school graduation!! I'm in shock and awe and I wish that was my graduation!!
Anyway, hope y'all have/had a wonderful day today. You guys deserve it
