The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

The stone started demanding more happy songs. Of course, since rock’s cannot talk, it did so by moving a centimeter to the left (most persuasively).- 111878 replies

*laughs* Well clearly you have a WEAKness for smiling-
-
It is! Especially when you like a person and you can just have that moment, stolen away from the world. Similarly, I also smile a lot (even though apparently when I’m singing I shouldn’t smile because it limits my range......). I’m a generally happy person, and would like to note: It takes more muscles to frown than to smile!

Why do you prefer that there would be no afterlife? Favorite Wit insult? Do you like clocks? Favorite sport to play/watch? Do you like the day or night more? If you could go inside a book and live there, which book would you go in? If you could talk to one person, dead or alive, for one day, who would you choose and why?

Lord of the Rings Guild
SymphonianBookworm replied to King Aragorn of Gondor's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
I once had a teacher who didn’t like Tolkien. I made meme after meme (In a somewhat threatening manner, if I’m being honest) stating that he should like LOTR. -
It’s definitely possible, but instead of doing a half-animated mix with real people, honestly I’d just want a fully animated and detailed movie. It would be pretty hard to get everything right with a mix of animation and humans.
-
Somebody save us from our impending doom. Honestly though. I do NOT wanna be an adult... maybe if I’m whiny enough it’ll convince Time that I should really just stay a teen.

Unpopular Rhythm of War opinions
SymphonianBookworm replied to Frustration's topic in Stormlight Archive
Am I the only one who likes the scene? Wit and Jasnah worked so well together and what they achieved was great, in so little time. She made a new law, got rid of an annoying high prince, got loyalty of his children, insulted people, etc, etc! guess that’s another unpopular RoW opinion. -
I honestly don’t think Warbreaker would be a good non-animated movie, because... well, because. It’d be great to have it animated because you could really show the hair changing color, Breath, Wit’s storytelling, etc, etc.

The next day Sarian rubbed her hands together, and pulled her sweater closer. For some reason, she was cold today. She decides to hop in to the Technotoc shop to see how the devices were going. As she got closer, she felt the dreariness of the day set in even more. She yawned. It was still the morning, and honestly, she wasn’t completely awake. She knocked on the door of the shop, and slowly pushed it open. “Hello!” Sarian said as she stepped inside. “How’s the project going?”

Also when people hold doors. I dunno. It’s just a thing I have. It’s really easy but not a lot of people do it. Also the inverse- when it’s a super hot day but then a cloud comes and blocks the sun and you can just be happy for a couple minutes! I can’t add anything to this. Or this. This one I can. It’s so nice because they understand you and you don’t have to explain yourself as much, they just get you. Oh? >:} Watermelon, too! Awesome! Tell me how it goes! A thing that makes me happy is when you don’t have to get out of your pajamas.

Life sucks sometimes
SymphonianBookworm replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in General Discussion
I have currently run out of all the reputations I can give, but if I could give some, I’d definitely upvote this. Thank you so much... and the rural legend is a bonus. It’s nice to know you understand. That is how I feel. Thanks for listening :)) -
Life sucks sometimes
SymphonianBookworm replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in General Discussion
I have too much experience with this. Too many times I’ve smiled when I wanted to shout and cry. I feel like people expect so much of me so if I ever fall a little behind it’s unforgivable. And I can’t let my emotions out because Ive been raised too well to scream of get angry like I want to because I know the consequences of that. All the same... I wish I could... but I can’t. I’ve written a lot of things when I’ve been angry or sad, and they are... interesting. -

This is not the today that it was before, but... whatever. 1. tired. 2. There are three that I like to use together. >:} Does this count as punctuation? If not, then "-". If not, then... "...". 3. 6. And only that high because of the Shard. And school. 4. HSR. And the sights. And the food. And the cleanliness. I have heard many good things about Japan. 5. Uh... pancakes? 6. English, and lawyer/author. 7. Ah, you knew not to put the Jasnahoid. Okay, here I go. *deep breath* Kaz and Inej, Biana and Tam, Jesper and Wylan, Artemis and Holly, Raoden and Sarene, Vivenna and Vasher (and maybe a bit Denth??), and I could go on and on but i'll stop there. After I add Steris and Wax, and Wayne and MeLaan.

Sarian coughed. "'Young woman'? Really?" More seriously, she added, "What i'm trying to say is..." she paused. She had always been one to choose her words carefully, to convey the utmost of her message. "Okay. Obviously one would be the main character in their own story, but what about in everyone's stories? You always think of yourself as the main character, but everyone does. It's not fair to think of yourself as the only one that matters, so your actions affect others and you have to take that into account. There's no such things as collateral damage. There is only damage. As a main character, you... forget things." She shivered. "Like... who you are. Why you are, if that makes sense. So... after all i've been through..." her voice softened and quieted. For the first time, she seemed almost... vulnerable. "I'm trying---present tense---to find out why I am, and... what in the Stormfather's name i'm going to do with my life. I wouldn't say i'm... completely sane. Maybe sanity isn't the question here, but... i'm not as... whole as others, even Radiants. I understand that. I understood that, for a while, but I didn't care. But know that all's been done... I wish I had thought, just for a single second, that... maybe I'm wrong. Maybe killing someone, destroying something, isn't the way my entire life should be. Maybe things would be different, then." She turned and stared straight at Orodal with her clear, bright purple eyes. "In my opinion, your purpose should be to figure out not only who you are, but why you are. And... to figure out who and why everyone else is, too. Do what you think will add, instead of subtract. Some things you forget. Some things you remember. But the most important thing to know, consciously or subconsciously, is that... everything in any planet, world, universe, everything, is... important. Don't go down the path you're going down, Orodal. Step away. Turn back. Leave before it's too late to... reverse your actions. And you will make actions. And after it's over, the only thing left is regret. So CHANGE! FIND A NEW PURPOSE! DON'T FOLLOW SOMETHING YOU KNOW, DEEP DOWN, IS WRONG! "Have you forgotten, Orodal? Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination."

Symph randomly popped up while eat a pineapple, and casually produced 1739 more pineapples, which [insert my pronoun here] placed in various hats, then wore the hats, and then juggled the remaining pineapples. Of course, that was impossible.- 111878 replies

Single Pringles, Not Ready to Mingle
SymphonianBookworm replied to DramaQueen's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Yech, couldn't say it better myself. okay, maybe I should say something related to the topic title. Ah yes. I've been to many dances. I have not danced. I mean, i've danced with friends, but... not anyone else. We don't talk about my track record with crushes. Are you supposed to confess to your crush if they're your friend? Or do you stand in terror of ruining your relationship? Heads up, I chose no. Not sure if that was the right decision. The worst thing (or one of) that's happened to me in my life is confessing to my crush, having them say they also liked me, and then a bit later, coming back and saying not in that way. Okay. Maybe not the worst thing. But it still hurt. A lot.- 754 replies

Single Pringles, Not Ready to Mingle
SymphonianBookworm replied to DramaQueen's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
I've had friends talk about me behind my back. In front of another friend of mine. And then expect them to also make fun of me. Why, though? I've always been nice...- 754 replies
