  1. Avi turned to Il'anque and gave her a look. "Anything else we need to know?" she asked, anxious to get moving.

It is way bigger than I thought. I expected a little more than Edgedancer, but still way bigger anyway.

Having it now, though, it seems just the perfect size.

  4. Guys, I need books to read. I'm specifically looking for hard sci-fi space opera type stuff.

But I'll take anything. Just put the sci-fi stuff at the top.

If you want a very weird book to read that has to do with space (it’s really really weird so just beware) read Dangerous by Shannon Hale. I love all her other books but this one was……. Weird.

  6. I'm in a weird rut this evening. I'm just...down. In a poor mood. I have stuff to do and can't focus. I started reading a book today called How High We Go in the Dark. It is very depressing. Very good, yes, but depressing. It's sad. Sad things happen. It didn't help this at all. Probably the reason I'm like this right now... It kind of all came down on me at once. The negative attitude, armed with the topics of the book and the craziness of the world, shifted my normally positive worldview into another focus that left me...I hesitate to use the word depressed, because I highly doubt this is the actual condition that some people suffer, but it's certainly how I felt. My family was kind of crazy today. My dad's still out of town on an archeological excavation, and his presence helps stabilize us, makes it so crazy kids are a little more in line and things that need to get done get done. But he's not. My mother was stressed, and that transferred to me and my siblings, I think. One of them in particular was being highly uncooperative and exacerbated my situation further. It kind of all hit me a few minutes ago. Hard enough that I actually cried. Which I don't normally do. Ever. The emotions kind of just...spilled out. There were a few other things here that I didn't mention, but they just added to it. Eventually it pushed me over. I feel better now. Not good, but better. Kind of in the middle. Crying helped. Writing this has helped. ....You guys also must have magic powers because I'd normally not make myself so vulnerable like this, ranting about problems that are all in my head. I....yeah. We'll see what happens next.
  7. The centaur cried and wished they had a friend to save them from their misery.
  8. The centaur pushed the Plot over the hill, then collapsed from their wounds. They curled up in a ball and cried, wishing to die. Meanwhile, the plot began a deadly roll to a nearby village.
  9. cuh-TAHN. My younger brother is obsessed with this game. He has so much Catan stuff. I find it boring.
  10. Avi glanced down at the black mark on the back of her hand, sensing the weight of her scythe in the back of her mind. ...They aren't going to have us use the Scythes....we're barely full Reapers... She checked her leather belt, making sure she had her dagger and equipment. Her deep blue cloak enveloped her, a constant comfort. Lets see how this goes.
  11. Luckily, the centaur was wounded greatly both physically and mentally when rolling plot, so at least they were traumatized. At least a little.
  12. Avi was surprised at the sudden turn of events. So much for simple gatekeeping duty...
  13. Refnet: Underworld Entrance Bookwyrm squeezed Insa's hand one last time and then let go. He started to move forwards. She has someone with her. Bookwyrm hesitated and fought to keep confusion from showing on his face. What? A being, or at least the presence of one. Someone who speaks to her in the way I speak to you. I can't tell what their nature is, or how strong they are, but...I though you might want to know. ...Thanks, Bookwyrm responded, not knowing what else to say. Then he smiled at Insa and led the group towards the large hole in the floor of the cavern.
  14. I violently shove the Being of Cacophony out of control of my lungs, then disappear again.
  15. Shallan foolishly wrote some problematic Non-Sanderson creepypastas and ate her nonexistent Dogecoin because sentient MeeM sniffed frogs wrathfully.
  16. "The thing is, I'm not a very good squirrel." - @Ranryu "Ah yes, you just don't have hair." - @shortcake "[Bookwyrm] lives in the vents." - @shortcake "NO! I want the vents!" - @That1Cellist
  17. Refnet: Underworld Entrance The cavern was refreshingly cool compared to the sun-baked stone and sand outside. In the far back of the cavern, there was a deep hole in the ground with a cool wind blowing out of it. "That hole will lead to the underworld of the planet; the caverns underneath the surface hold an ecosystem that will provide them with enough food. It's a long fall, but the wind keeps you safe. "As for your question..." Bookwyrm trailed off. "I don't know. But we'll figure something out." I hope. Bookwyrm looked at Insa. A pang of sadness ran through him. She's had to deal with so much...how does she do it? He reached out and gently grabbed her hand. "I know you're scared. And perhaps that fear is warranted. But...do you honestly think we'd just leave you? We need all the help we can get at this point. Everything you can do will help us. If you hurt us, you're forgiven. It's not your fault. We'll just press on like we've always have. "We need you, Insa. And we aren't going to abandon you. I'm not going to abandon you."
  18. Avi blinked, and her eyes widened slightly, but she didn't say anything. @NerdyAarakocra @Channelknight Fadran
  19. I just realized the address I had in Backerkit was wrong.

I should have realized this much sooner.

I sent in a help ticket. Hopefully them wizards at Dragonsteel can fix my silly problem.

And then, just maybe, I'll get my copy of Tress...

  21. Leaving the map in BotW is hard. I was trying it but couldn't get it to work. And the video that let me do it that one time is missing.
