The Battle for the Sandwich
The Bookwyrm replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Bookwyrm sighs a sigh of relief as platypus takes the sandwich. He awkwardly takes Telrao's root, stands up slowly, then vanishes.- 13683 replies

The Battle for the Sandwich
The Bookwyrm replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Bookwyrm spied Platypus and immediately grew defensive. He's going to assume I have the sandwich, then try to attack me to get it. I don't even know where the sandwich is. Please, just leave me alone...- 13683 replies

You see, to answer some of these questions I'd have to bring out my religious side. Except for the dinner one. Not sure if I can answer that.

Tenet isn't that kind of confusing. Oh man...that movie... You'll understand what I'm talking about when you see it.

It's the most confusing movie you'll ever see.

Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted
The Bookwyrm replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
The Clinic: Library It was falling apart. Rifts were splitting space itself everywhere. Bookwyrm nearly fell into one multiple times, briefly confronted by a deep blackness before gaining his balance and continuing onwards. He saw Insa waiting for him by the Wyrmhole. "Why didn't you go through?!" he yelled, but didn't wait for an answer before he grabbed her hand and dove through the portal, pulling her along with him. The Wyrmhole closed as the fabric of the Clinic continued to tear itself apart. Earth: Greenland Bookwyrm landed on the snowy, muddy ground. Hard. He groaned and stood up, looking around at the group of patients and seeing Nameless, Rue, and Ati nearby. He walked over to them. "Which version of Earth is this, anyway?" he asked Nameless. @InfiniteInsanity @Nameless* @Aes Sedai @Ati16 @xinoehp512 @Being of Cacophony @Thaidakar the Ghostblood @Shadowed @The Wandering Wizard @CalanoCorvus -
Quite a strange structure. It truly is a great feat To send ideas here.

That's the thing though. It doesn't move. We just think it does for whatever reason. And if it moved backwards our entire society would be built around that so no one would have any trouble at all. Hm... I need to get you all to watch Tenet...
-
But like seriously, why can't we remember the future? Why does time move forwards? Why does time move at all?
-
Is it the Wyrms' fault that I spend too much time pondering the nature of time?
-
The laws of physics say the future already exists in the same way that the past already exists. For whatever reason we can only see a single 3D slice of 4D space at a time, and that movement of one slice to another is what we call "time". Yet if for some reason we can "predict" the past, even though we can't see it, why can't we "remember" the future? If we have the ability to "see" time-slices that we aren't in, why does that effect only go one way? It's okay, Wizard. We're friendly little mind-voices. Just trying to figure out how the universe works.

I'm growing confused. Is this an RP or not? Are the minds stuck in the RP hearing the non RP posts as voices from beyond that speak into their minds?

The Battle for the Sandwich

Bookwyrm took out a notebook and started writing notes on a paper about the process of Roleplayization, a strange psychological condition amongst the members of the community forums that made them turn any thread into a roleplay. And even SU threads sometimes. By the way, why do you think it is that we can't remember the future?

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
The Bookwyrm replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
The Plotblade was interestingly shaped. It was completely forged out of a deep blue metal from the hilt to the blade, though the hilt was darker colored and certainly not sharpened. The blade was fairly long, but not too long, and the hilt was designed to facilitate both one handed and two handed wielding. The blade grew wider as it got closer to the hilt, forming a strange design where it met the crossguard, which curved downwards around the hilt. It was a double edged sword, and felt comfortable in Bookwyrm's hand. He summoned his Narrationblade in his other hand. I have my defense, he thought. Maybe I should let Rym carry around the Plotblade... First, though, some answers. Bookwyrm set out to find Onyx. @xinoehp512- 111832 replies

Insanity Clinic For The Moderately Brandofandonitis Afflicted
The Bookwyrm replied to Going_North_cal's topic in Roleplaying
The Clinic: Library "Let me try something..." He reached out with his mind, pinpointing the locations of the thoughts of a large group of patients. The last in the library. He sent the location to Insa's mind. "Go. Hurry." Bookwyrm turned and ran away from Insa, deep into the heart of the library. At the center, he found the pedestal. A gigantic rift temporarily appeared in the air, but Bookwyrm sealed it with his powers. Can't keep it up for long... He pulled out his tome and slammed it onto the pedestal, then activated the download. Light came from every book and shelf in the library and spiraled into the apparatus around the pedestal, then poured into Bookwyrm's book. Once the spell was finished, he grabbed the tome, then ran back towards the Wyrmhole. She'd better find them soon. The Clinic is done for. We're the last ones in here. -
