The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
ThroughTheLivingSequence replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Ivisyre scrutinized the figure, then summoned Inversion. It glowed faintly with a crimson light, letting out a barely audible humming noise as well. They held Inversion out in front of them, dropping their chin and hanging their head. Ivisyre’s own glow diminished, and they slumped a bit, the steady flow of blood from their still gaping chest increasing for a moment. Inversion’s glow, however, strengthened, and it shuddered with energy and force. After a moment like this, Inversion’s glow faded once more, and Ivisyre’s strengthened. With it, their wound rapidly healed almost entirely, and they dismissed the blade and stood up straight. ”I think I’d like to meet this power,” Ivisyre said smoothly.- 111800 replies

Cardinal, historically known as Sapphire , was one of the splinters of the Irrational Sequence alongside Sequence, Fuzzy, Ivisyre. He was a quiet, reserved, and shy person, and typically stayed not only out of trouble, but out of everything in general. He often struggled to socialize, and was quite awkward in conversation. Out of the four splinters of the Irrational Sequence, he received the least of anything, causing him to be a bit dull. Except for creativity and artistry though, which he had an abundance of and was consequentially quite fabulous at painting. Cardinal, despite the color suggested by his name, was very blue. His hair was relatively short, reaching almost to his shoulders, and was a dark, slightly dusty navy blue color. His skin was of a medium chestnut color, and he had freckles similar to Fuzzy along with a pair of round spectacles over his ocean-blue eyes. He was quite tall, standing over a head taller than even Sequence, and usually wore a grey hoodie with jeans. He was relatively close with Sequence and Fuzzy, seeing them both like family, though was in constant, yet silent fear of Ivisyre. While Sequence granted them second, third, and fourth chances when they did awful things, Cardinal always advised against it, seeing the permanent evil in them from the start. Cardinal was originally part of the Irrational Sequence, retaining very little attributes or power upon the being's division. He was, however, blessed with artistry, and he frequently painted and drew things. After the Irrational Sequence was splintered, he stayed with Fuzzy and Sequence for a while, often watching over Fuzzy while Sequence was unavailable. Eventually, he decided to go off on his own to a distant fiber of the Thread. It's unknown what he did, as he hasn't spoken about it, but he returned to being on the main fibers when he was summoned by Sequence on page 1819, his help and power employed by Sequence in a desperate effort to resurrect the Narrator Thaidakar. He did very little for a while, occasionally showing up to complete minor tasks or have small conversations. As Sequence's celebration of the 3,000th page grew near, Cardinal was employed to help Sequence construct the cabin in which the party took place, and later, helped greet guests and serve refreshments. Most notably, he was forced to subtly spread a dark, toxic material produced by Ivisyre around the party. The plot was revealed when one of the guests, a woman by the name of Beosta, noticed the toxic material and alerted Sequence. Brought in for questioning, Cardinal quickly confessed to what happened, and the party was quickly ended and the guests were sent home for their own safety. As Ivisyre shrouded Sequence's World in darkness and sickness, Cardinal very quickly fell gravely ill, and soon after perished. He was buried by the lake on Sequence's World, though after Ivisyre took over the planet, the status of Cardinal's grave is unknown.

Fuzzemals Fluffinator Gargantua The First, Fuzzy for short, and historically Gold , was one of the Irrational Sequence's splinters, and by far the cheeriest. Always known for her optimism and whimsy, she was not only willing, but excited to get to know everyone she could, and loved to make friends. She was the kindest and most empathetic person you'd ever meet, always wanting to make people happy. As the splinter with by far the most positivity, she was quite free spirited, always having lots of fun and doing a wide manner of silly things. She had a ridiculously frizzy and curly mop of golden blond hair, which often stood up something like an afro, and pale skin much like Sequence's. Her eyes were a pleasing golden color, and she had a spattering of freckles all over her cheeks and under her eyes. Yellow was definitely her favored color, and she wore all manners of clothing in it, from sweaters to overalls to fancy dresses. She almost exclusively resided with Sequence, who was a bit of a motherly figure to her, and Fuzzy often accompanied her on her non-dangerous endeavors. Originally part of the Irrational Sequence, she received the least chaotic energy and attributes out of the four splinters and the most joy, positivity, and mirth, even surpassing Sequence's staggering positivity. When the Irrational Sequence was divided, Fuzzy mostly stuck with Sequence, staying either by her side or with Cardinal, who also stayed near Sequence. She didn't appear to the thread for quite a while due to being shy, but eventually she faced her fears and did so alone, which Sequence was very proud of. She appeared on page 1791, on a quest to hire an assassin to murder a being known as Fluffy. She didn't do much throughout her time on the Thread, mostly just accompanying Sequence places, bickering with Ivisyre (then known as Everyone), and at one point, helping Sequence attempt to resurrect the Narrator Thaidakar. Eventually, she was helping keep the 3,000th page celebration tidy when she fell sick from Ivisyre's meddling in the party, and succumbed to her sickness a few pages later. She was buried by the lake on Sequence's World, though after Ivisyre took over the planet, the status of Fuzzy's grave is unknown.

"Tell me... More..." Ivisyre said laboriously. They gasped in a deep breath as their damaged lungs finally healed their outer tissue. They slowly rose to their feet, not without some difficulty, stumbling just a bit and shakily turning to face the figure.- 111800 replies

Ivisyre, formerly known as Everyone and historically known as Crimson , is a chaotic and unpredictable splinter of the Irrational Sequence and a Narrator on The Longest Thread. Smug, cunning, and inherently evil, Ivisyre's motives are never really known. Their goal changes frequently, their allegiance flip-flopping between good and evil at an unpredictable rate. They show little mercy and no remorse, killing and inflicting pain frequently and seemingly for no reason. By far containing the most destructive energy and inclinations out of Sequence's splinters, Ivisyre has dark abilities, which can destroy structures, manipulate terrible, corrosive, and literally sickening black mist, as well as summon terrible storms and crimson lightning. Despite being "friends" with Sequence for most of their existence, they always had a great disdain for Sequence and her early weaknesses, as well as weakness in general. Ivisyre also appears human, but with unnaturally pale skin. They have short, messy, charcoal-black hair, and unsettlingly crimson eyes to pair with their sharp, animal-like teeth. Similar to Sequence, their speech is dark and distorted when infused with their chaotic energy. Additionally, their features will fade into black shadow, only their stark white teeth remaining visible in the darkness. In their earlier days, they often wore more average clothing, such as hoodies and coats, though now they are usually wrapped in a black shroud with thin, soft armor of an unknown fabric beneath it. For much of their existence, they resided with or near Sequence, including on Sequence's World both before and after they claimed the planet, but after ceding ownership to Rebus, it is unknown where they reside. Coming to existence as a being of great chaos and anger in a far off land at a far off time, Ivisyre was originally a part of the Irrational Sequence. Eventually, due to the actions of those terrorized by it, the Irrational Sequence was split into four pieces. While Narrator Sequence was the most prominent, Ivisyre, then known as Everyone, was one of the other three, containing a considerably larger amount of the chaos and anger than the other pieces. After that, Ivisyre mostly kept to themself. It is unknown when exactly they were introduced to the Thread formally, mainly due to their early nature of quiet observation and disguised involvement, though it was at some point prior to Sequence's capture by the Witherlord. Around then, they began to interact more with the Thread and participate in more quests and endeavors of mixed allegiance, including (but not limited to) a failed attempt to foil Sequence's rescue, a failed attempt on the life of Ookla the Unintelligible, lots of bickering with Narrator Thaidakar, even more bickering with Fuzzy, an attempt to bond with a Withergeist, a visit to the Dreamsmith, and a discussion about timeflow machines with Onyx. Ivisyre always disliked Sequence, eventually attacking her and the other two splinters after a party on page 3,000. Ivisyre and Sequence dueled, which resulted in Sequence reigning victorious, though both of them walked away with serious injuries. Ivisyre eventually returned, bargaining for Sequence's Narration and taking ownership of her world before handing it over to Rebus.

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
ThroughTheLivingSequence replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Anything that seems natural, I suppose! I sometimes have a hard time injecting myself into storylines too, but if you notice one where there could be a character introduced well, like if people are seeking out an unknown figure, or in danger, or otherwise lost. You could also create your own, like I did with my 3,000th page celebration by inviting everybody to attend! But generally, it's not too serious and you'll most likely be welcome anywhere you appear. Sometimes there are more closed off places where people can't just appear, but if you arrive properly you'll likely be welcomed in most plotlines like that was well.- 111800 replies

Ivisyre materialized in a desolate, misty plain. The ground was scorched and pockmarked with small craters. They immediately collapsed to their knees, coughing violently as black blood poured from the gaping hole in their chest, which had only just started to heal slowly. They grimaced, sitting back on their heels and wiping some blood from their mouth.- 111800 replies

Sequence, occasionally known as Narrator Sequence and historically known as Gray , was a former Narrator on The Longest Thread, and a figure of wisdom, peace, and joy, nearly always maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude, and always willing to help out those who need it. Alternatively, she could be very formidable and quite powerful when provoked. Some of the chaotic energy from her distant past could resurface at times. As far as she, or anyone else knows, she was the oldest Narrator on the Thread at the time of her death. She appeared as a human, relatively tall, standing just above average at a little over two meters. She had tan skin and curly auburn hair reaching just past her shoulders, complimented by mirthful brown eyes. She most often wore a white button-up shirt with an open brown leather vest and a long calf-length dress with tall black leather boots, though was known to wear a multitude of outfits. She resided on her personal planet, aptly named 'Sequence's World', a beautiful and serene planet located in a remote and exotic fiber of the Thread, until it was taken over by Ivisyre. While she was there, she had a strict rule outlawing violence or conflict of any kind on the planet, and was more than able and willing to enforce it with her great Narrative power. Coming to existence as a being of great chaos and anger in a far off land at a far off time, Sequence was originally a part of a being known as the Irrational Sequence. Eventually, due to the actions of those she terrorized, she was split into four pieces. The largest piece retained most of her power, and eventually would become the Sequence that we all know today! The other three pieces stayed as Sequence's friends and assistants. Soon thereafter, she became a full Narrator upon appearing to the rest of the Thread on page 1513. Since then, she embarked on many adventures. She befriended fellow Narrators Nameless, Thaidakar, and the Bookwyrm, as well as a great hero known as Ookla the Unintelligible, an unknowingly special girl called Gail, an adventurous hero named Nogard, and the one and only, Bacon the Bard! Throughout her history, she was temporarily corrupted into a horrible wither-infused Narratorgeist, subsequently uncorrupted and trapped in a prison for 200 pages, attempted to resurrect her good friend Thaidakar, forced to protect her friends from one of her splinters turned evil, created a beautiful planet to act as her home and safe haven for all who need it, been challenged in a great trial for which she received the Plotblade of Conflict, thrown a lovely party to celebrate the Thread's 3,000th page, and more. Said party was crashed by Ivisyre, who then dueled Sequence. Sequence won, but was gravely wounded. The wound, inflicted by Inversion, would not heal and severely weakened her. She died from that same wound after her Narrative ability was stolen by Ivisyre.

Hey, I was just wondering, does anybody know how to make a blog? I saw a few people making a blog specifically to store TLT information, which is actually an idea I like a lot! My About Me is a bit cluttered as is.
However, I can't seem to figure out how to make a blog. Is that no longer a feature? Is it only available to some people? Any info is appreciated!

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)
ThroughTheLivingSequence replied to ElephantEarwax's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
(Warnings for: long, and also a lil sad ) Just in case anybody was wondering what happened right after the 3,000th page party, Sequence's World was typically open to all who sought it with intentions of peace, safety, and other such positive intentions. However, since the party, it was enshrouded in darkness, and closed off to those who searched for it. On the surface, a confrontation took place.- 111800 replies
