  1. Sequence gave a relieved smile. "So glad we could all get along." "Armor sword thing?" Sequence looked intrigued. While something of a pacifist, she had an interest in weapons. They were quite pretty, and she could appreciate good craftsmanship. "Oooh, a mercenary? Any contracts or clients you've taken on that have been particularly interesting?" "Hello Gail!" Sequence said enthusiastically, quickly hurrying over to her. "How have you been?" The warm lanternlight was (in Sequence's opinion) quite comforting, especially in the slowly dimming sky as the sun dipped down below the horizon of the lake.
  2. Oh dear! Good luck with that! "Fascinating... I'm sure Everyone would want to talk to you about that, actually. They have a fascination with 'technically dead but also not dead' beings. ... Come to think of it, they might also be 'technically dead but also not dead'. Until they arrive, why don't you tell me about some of your adventures? Or perhaps, that sword at your waist? Good weapons often have good stories along with them."
  3. Sequence frowned a bit. "... Friends, may I please ask that you do not squabble or conflict on this occasion? I don't mind your motives, and if your intent is to claim a Plotblade, that is not my concern. If you take said Plotblade by harming somebody, or then use it to harm others, then it will be my concern. But for now, we are all friends!" Sequence offered a cup of tea to both Platypus and Perseus. "Please?"
  4. "I would certainly hope so! I did send an invitation to everybody. Though, as I said, I haven't heard from her in a loooong time. Which actually leads me to ask, how do you know her?" Sequence looked at Perseus curiously. "Understandable, of course." Sequence offered Asher a cup of tea. "Thank you for attending! Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself, Asher?"
  5. "I am Sequence, the host of this fine world and establishment." Sequence did a little bow. "Lovely to meet you, Asher! Tell me, how long have you existed?" "Ooh! Lovely to meet you, Perseus." Sequence gave a bow in return. Her eyes lit up at the mention of Moni. "Why, yes, I do! I haven't seen her in pages, but I like to think we were friends. ... Assuming this 'Moni' you speak of is in fact Moniker, avatar of the late Narrator Nameless."
  6. They found themselves on a wooden deck attached to a large, warmly lit wooden cabin. It was almost more like a pavilion, as there was no wall separating the deck and the cabin. The cabin stood on a boardwalk that jutted out onto a crystal blue lake, and, strangely, pine trees dotted the shore. "Welcome!" Said a warm, welcoming voice. Sequence suddenly appeared before them, extending one hand to each. "Welcome welcome welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Who might you two be?"
  7. Can do! All of the invitations had a magical stamp on the back, which, when touched, would transport you to Sequence's World.
  8. Gail noticed an extra sentence on her invitation, and only hers.
  9. REALLY??? You're so sweet!!! You didn't need to do that!!!
  10. Omg Page 3000!!!! And explosion of confetti popped up around the thread, from the darkest of corners to the brightest plains. With it, copies of the invitation appeared once more.
  11. "Pretty much, yeah. Sometimes when somebody among the populace has a destructive idea or invention, I wipe it from their minds. That sort of thing. I feel... Not great when I do it, so this is the only such experiment I have. The peace and prosperity is nice though. Just a bit unnatural."
  12. "Another civilization, actually. This one is a little less... spontaneous, as I essentially have controlled every move since day one. But, it's still rather nice, don't you think? Peaceful, plentiful resources, no suffering. Not a real civilization in that sense, but a nice little experience either way."
  13. "... Mmaaayybbee? I certainly can, if you'd like!" Sequence snapped her fingers and her cabin was enshrouded in darkness. When the darkness lifted, the snowy and mountainous landscape was replaced by a lush, green plain, with dark pine forests off in the distance, as well as a large, beautiful blue lake. Small wooded houses dotted the shoreline, only visible from this distance by their lights in the dusk of the setting sun. Sequence gazed down at the houses with a look of pride.
  14. As page 3,000 grew ever closer, Sequence re-sent her invitation out to the universe(?). Greetings, people of the Longest Thread! I hope this invitation finds you well. I would like to formally invite you all to my planet, aptly named 'Sequence's World', for a celebration! 3,000 pages is a long time, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you! I'd love the opportunity for us all to get to know each other a little bit, whether that be in the form of strangers meeting for the first time, old friends catching up, or former enemies getting to know one-another. This will be an occasion of peace, and (assuming you all show up), there will be people from... 'rival factions' present. I ask that if you choose to attend, you set your differences aside for just this one occasion and make friends, peace, and celebrate! I hope to see you all soon. With wishes of fortune and happiness, Sequence
  15. TLT's currently on page 2972, and this podcast is labelled as page 2986. Is that a mistake, or am I confused as to how these podcasts work?
  16. Tom Joebob, Melody, X... Is this a CBST story? Or.. TLT? I don't exactly know how the two are connected.
  17. Sequence's World is a peaceful planet, where I, the Narrator Sequence, reside! Everybody who wishes to attend has been invited to a celebration on page 3,000. It is currently page 2953, so we're getting close!
  18. Sequence decided to send an invitation to everybody, and that meant everybody. A celebration, on Sequence's World, to celebrate the 3,000th page in 47 pages! Of course, people were welcome to show up as soon as they would like, but page 3,000 was the official date of the occasion.
  19. Sequence dismissed both weapons, then proceeded to keel over and vomit. Slowly she straightened back up, looking queasy. “What was that about? I didn’t even do anything to him..” She was rather confused at having been pulled into this after just cutting some vines.
  20. Sequence’s eyes widened, and she looked back and forth between the glowing pike and the guard’s face. ”Oh dear- I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to-“ She took a deep breath, then pushed the guard forward off the pike with her shield, then made another thrust towards his heart.
  21. Sequence yelped and took a step back, blocking the sword strike with her Narration-shield, throwing sparks. More as a reflex than anything, she simultaneously thrust the pike towards the guard’s midsection.
  22. Sequence blinked, lowing Conflict a bit, then, as the guards appeared, Conflict changed shape into a large pike with a wickedly sharp point. She started, alarmed, and fell back into a defensive stance, looking around. “Goodness gracious- .. I was most certainly not prepared for this!” She looked a little dizzy.
  23. Conflict took the form of a crooked wooden staff, which was shallowly engraved with floral patterns, and held a flawless crystal orb, which glowed with pure, unwavering light. She shoved down her nearly insurmountable fear and waved the staff at the withergeists. "V̶̬̤͒̋i̸̛̤͗̇l̸̘̪̳͝e̶̦͆̌̇ ̸̳͇̙̈́̾͘ċ̶̤͛r̷̫̈́͆ḛ̴̪̹̉̂ạ̴̹̞̔̑͗t̷̠̣̏̚ǔ̵̮͛͝ȑ̵̬̆̀ȩ̶̫̦́͌s̶̨̲̎͂̓.̸̝͋.̸͍̓.̷̡̞̫̈" She said with a distorted voice and tone rather fierce.
  24. Uhhhh… Oops..? Sequence hastily veiled the message from Nogard’s consciousness, but whether or not it had been received was unclear.
