    The person looked thoughtful. “Would you consider this drive to be an emotion? Because I have gotten quite good at suppressing them. I could help if that were the origin of your desire to combat the mage.”

    On a chair across from his couch, a guy in a blue hoodie sat. He had been tasked with watching over Shoe to make sure nothing happened. Not that it would, but just to be certain. The person was idly fidgeting with a piece of paper in his hands, only half paying attention. The voice paused for a long while. When it returned, it was… Mostly normal. Not as distorted or dark as before. The orb shifted, a reddish metal leeching through the purple material as it formed more into the shape of a rectangle. A chair made from the redder metal rose from the flowing metal, and a person appeared on it. Their hair was short and black, and they wore something akin to a gray winter parka. Their eyes were a rather unsettling crimson tone, and their skin as pale as winter snow. “Are you unable to restrain yourself from attacking this mage?”

    “Ohh, I see now. Sequence must be aware you’re here then. I do not know why I was not.” The knife hummed and seemed to think to itself. “I’m sure she will greet you when she’s finished making a fool of herself.”

    “… Could you elaborate? The invitation serves as the only method of finding this place.”

    She nodded. “As I said, all are welcome here. But be warned. The peace of this world only exists as long as I can enforce it, and while I am indeed powerful, I most certainly have limits. I will not have this world become a stronghold, as I cannot allow it to become a place of war. You are free to bring those who seek peace here, but don’t bring conflict. Please.”

    “All are welcome.” She said, her tone comforting. “This ‘Tenth’ you speak of. Is that the Enuller you seek?”

    The blade’s light dimmed in a way, and its humming gave a concerned tone. ”As the one in charge of security of this world which I am nearly as in tune with as its creator, that is… upsetting. I was certainly expected to catch them all.”

    “Well, the world you stand on now is not on any star maps that ever have existed, or ever will, if that’s significant.” She gestured up at the night sky, which was… Unfamiliar, to say the least. Aside from the various unfamiliar moons visible, there was something odd about the stars. While in some places, they were normal and speckled in the sky as you’d expect, other places were completely devoid of stars, instead replaced by massive expanses of pure blackness. In other places, some stars seemed to be arranged in perfectly symmetrical circular and spiral patterns. Sequence lied back down as well, rubbing her eyes with her hands as her laughter gradually slowed down. “Pride? Don’t go making up words now!”

    “Oh my- Oh!-“ Sequence exclaimed as she, now with her only support gone, fell to the ground as well. She couldn’t help but continue to giggle uncontrollably as she slowly propped herself up beside Unintelligible. “Unintelligible! Oh my gosh- Are you okay?” She said between fits of laughter. She nodded in understanding. “Perhaps it’s high time for a rebellion.”

    She nodded, then paused for a moment. “… Why does your allegiance still fall with this government? I’m not judging you, to be clear. I know that things can get… complicated. Does it have something to do with this Enuller you speak of?”

    Sequence looked at Pyk with rather wide eyes, slowly bringing a hand up to cover her mouth in a shocked expression. “Oh my goodness… I… I don’t know what to say. If it helps, even when this party is over you are always free to visit this planet. Peace is always enforced, and even when I’m absent, there are caretakers who tend to this world.” She paused for a moment, then continued. “… Why does your allegiance still fall with this government? I’m not judging you, to be clear. I know that things can get… complicated.”

    The blade rotated in midair to “face” the woman. A sky blue gemstone was inset in the middle of the flat of the blade. ”I didn’t see you come in.” It mused. When it spoke, the slight glow around it pulsed, and a soft, electric hum accompanied its voice. THIS IS SO STORMING ADORABLE OH MY GOOGNESS

    Sequence snorted in laughter, also causing her to stumble a bit, and subsequently trip on her dress and nearly fall over. She held on to Unintelligible heavily, laughing hysterically. “Oh goodness gracious-“

    The woman noticed a blue and white knife, visually reminiscent of a kunai floating in the air beside her. It glowed a bit as well. ”I don’t like parties either.” The voice wasn’t quite masculine or feminine, and seemed to be coming from the knife.

    Can you suppress this purpose for the duration of the party? There will be no violence here. If you cannot agree to this, you will either remain here until you do, or face banishment. Beyond this world, your goals and purposes are your own, and your mission will not be interfered with.

    Sequence was laughing quite hard, and and wiped some tears from her eyes. “Hey, the ability to trip on this smooth surface is a talent in of itself! Here, let me see if I can help you.” An invisible surface seemed to rise beneath their feet, and those of any else who were on the “dance floor”, leaving everyone suspended just a foot or so above the deck. A large, lacquered hardwood surface appeared and spread across the open space, concealing the slightly uneven wooden planks. With that, they descended back to the floor. “Better?” Sequence asked, giving Unintelligible a smile.

    How can this be resolved? The voice asked. Something about the tone and cadence was extremely off-putting.

    Despite claiming not to know how to dance, Sequence didn't do too bad. She tried to help keep Unintelligible stable, laughing a bit when he stumbled. "Hey 'two left feet' might be a little harsh! You haven't knocked us both over yet! You should see Everyone dance." She laughed again. "It's bad."

    Sequence chuckled, a glass of ice water appearing in his hand. "If you say so. Do let me know if you need anything! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a dance to get to, and I'd rather not have too many copies of myself dividing my attention." The constellations were certainly... curious. Wherever this planet was, it was odd. Significant patches of pure darkness, completely absent of stars were visible above, and at least fourteen moons or nearby planets of various colors and geographies were visible. The stars that were present, were in very symmetrical, spiral patterns.

    The inside of the Render's metal cage is well-lit and relatively comfortable. The Render hears a voice. It doesn't sound like Sequence. Are you ready to behave?

    She looked at him again, then gave a slight smile and took his hand with only a little trepidation. "Well, here's to hoping we can somehow learn on the fly!" She paused, then looked around the deck and cabin. "... Where have people been dancing? There isn't much room around here." With that, she waved her free hand and the collection of tables, chairs, coffee tables, sofas, rugs, and other such furniture shifted around into a position that allowed a decently sized open space in the middle. There had been one there before, but this time it was much more comfortably sized. She nodded and gave a satisfied smile. "Much better!"

    The empty teacup vanished. Sequence paused, looking at him curiously for a moment. “.. Dance?” She looked thoughtful, then her look changed to one of disappointment. “That sounds… Nice, but I’m afraid I don’t know how to dance…” Sequence laughed. “Well that sounds rather boring! Can I get you a drink, at least?” EDIT:!!!!!! I went back and read some of the pages I missed, and OH MY GOSH am I glad I threw this party . All these characters getting together and being SCUDDING ADORABLE. I'm looking at you, Shoe and Beosta, and you, Subversion and Nogard.

    Sequence smiled and laughed a bit. “Well, yes, I suppose so. Fuzzy helped a lot too! … No idea where she’s gotten off to… Onyx’s realm wasn’t too hard. The first time, the guide helped us out, and after that it’s just a matter of memory.” Sequence summoned and took a sip from a glass of something… Yellow? Pink? Orange? The color seemed to change with every moment. “We certainly will have to organize an adventure sometime.” She said as she looked around at the remaining partygoers. “… Or, you know, just like… A regular non-dangerous occasion. Maybe?” Sequence smiled and gave a wave farewell. I’m glad! Be seeing you, Platypus. She waved again, this time to Hacob as she spotted him. “Oh hi! I didn’t see you arrive! Enjoying the party?”
