Ivisyre, formerly known as Everyone and historically known as  Crimson , is a chaotic and unpredictable splinter of the Irrational Sequence and a Narrator on The Longest Thread. Smug, cunning, and inherently evil, Ivisyre's motives are never really known. Their goal changes frequently, their allegiance flip-flopping between good and evil at an unpredictable rate. They show little mercy and no remorse, killing and inflicting pain frequently and seemingly for no reason. By far containing the most destructive energy and inclinations out of Sequence's splinters, Ivisyre has dark abilities, which can destroy structures, manipulate terrible, corrosive, and literally sickening black mist, as well as summon terrible storms and crimson lightning. Despite being "friends" with Sequence for most of their existence, they always had a great disdain for Sequence and her early weaknesses, as well as weakness in general.

Ivisyre also appears human, but with unnaturally pale skin. They have short, messy, charcoal-black hair, and unsettlingly crimson eyes to pair with their sharp, animal-like teeth. Similar to Sequence, their speech is dark and distorted when infused with their chaotic energy. Additionally, their features will fade into black shadow, only their stark white teeth remaining visible in the darkness. In their earlier days, they often wore more average clothing, such as hoodies and coats, though now they are usually wrapped in a black shroud with thin, soft armor of an unknown fabric beneath it. For much of their existence, they resided with or near Sequence, including on Sequence's World both before and after they claimed the planet, but after ceding ownership to Rebus, it is unknown where they reside.

Coming to existence as a being of great chaos and anger in a far off land at a far off time, Ivisyre was originally a part of the Irrational Sequence. Eventually, due to the actions of those terrorized by it, the Irrational Sequence was split into four pieces. While Narrator Sequence was the most prominent, Ivisyre, then known as Everyone, was one of the other three, containing a considerably larger amount of the chaos and anger than the other pieces. After that, Ivisyre mostly kept to themself. It is unknown when exactly they were introduced to the Thread formally, mainly due to their early nature of quiet observation and disguised involvement, though it was at some point prior to Sequence's capture by the Witherlord. Around then, they began to interact more with the Thread and participate in more quests and endeavors of mixed allegiance, including (but not limited to) a failed attempt to foil Sequence's rescue, a failed attempt on the life of Ookla the Unintelligible, lots of bickering with Narrator Thaidakar, even more bickering with Fuzzy, an attempt to bond with a Withergeist, a visit to the Dreamsmith, and a discussion about timeflow machines with Onyx. Ivisyre always disliked Sequence, eventually attacking her and the other two splinters after a party on page 3,000. Ivisyre and Sequence dueled, which resulted in Sequence reigning victorious, though both of them walked away with serious injuries. Ivisyre eventually returned, bargaining for Sequence's Narration and taking ownership of her world before handing it over to Rebus.

Spoiler

Ivisyre started in a far off, strange, and unknown corner of the Thread. They were part of a being known as the Irrational Sequence. It was something of a "neighborhood villain", a chaotic entity feeding off of the discord of society to fuel its destructive power and preying on small civilizations in the vicinity. For an unknown amount of time, it wreaked havoc on a long lost civilization to the point of driving them to near extinction. In their darkest hour, they came together to devise a plan. Through unknown means, they were able to split the Irrational Sequence into two parts. One was a much more stable, containing only a small fraction of the original destructive rage and power, and the other held the rest of the destructive energy. It was still quite dangerous, so it was split into three further pieces. Those three pieces were named Fuzzy, Cardinal, and Everyone. Everyone, imbued with the most chaos out of the four, eventually would become to be known as Ivisyre.

After these events, Ivisyre's activities are largely unknown, and it is unknown when they were properly introduced into the thread due to their early nature of quiet observation and disguised involvement, though it was at some point prior to Sequence's capture by the Witherlord. Upon that, Ivisyre then came to be more prominent with the Thread, interacting (and in some cases arguing) with the Narrators of the time. Their contributions were largely insignificant to furthering plot, but even so, this was a time of little plot.

When Ookla the Unintelligible, aided by Rep, Soulmover, Thom, 655, and Narrator Thaidakar attempted to rescue Sequence from the Witherlord's prison, Ivisyre intervened in the escape of the heroes, attempting to stop Unintelligible. However, Unintelligible managed to convince them to leave it for another time, to which Ivisyre eventually agreed.

However, relatively soon after, Ivisyre once again attempted to kill Unintelligible, revealing that they inexplicably feared him. Fuzzy, the splinter with by far the most positivity and empathy, was able to grant some of her empathy to Ivisyre, which game them more of a perspective on people and mercy. They then, with their newfound empathy, spared Unintelligible.

At some point, Ivisyre stole a device from the late Narrator Calano. This device allowed Ivisyre to pour their power and energy into it for storage. Upon being emptied of power, Ivisyre would slowly begin to regenerate that power until they had returned to prior strength levels. They would then absorb the energy stored in the orb, effectively doubling their energy capacity. Shortly after achieving this device, they had a confrontation with Soulmover, a mysterious, though usually moral individual. Soulmover attempted to hold some of Ivisyre's power, which resulted in horrible pain and suffering, and a complete inability to use it.

Later, Ivisyre visited the Dreamsmith. Despite barely being able to pass Omen's trial, they succeeded and received their weapon. In combination with their soul, the Dreamsmith utilized Ivisyre's power storage device to create a horrible blade known as Inversion. It had the ability to hold and harness Ivisyre's power to great effect, and in the Dreamsmith's own words, "surpassing even most Plotblades in strength" when harnessing Ivisyre's abilities to the fullest. However, the absence of this power and darkness would quickly lead to a rise in the empathy and positivity in Ivisyre's soul, as well as sapping their normal abilities.

After a stretch of absence alongside Sequence, they eventually returned when Sequence offered to ask Ivisyre to guide some adventurers into Unreal Space in search of Onyx and the Inspector. They agreed, and accompanied them to Unreal Space. There, they ended up having a conversation with Onyx regarding a machine used to control the flow of time into a dying realm, during which they examined the destroyed machine very closely.

As the celebration for the 3,000th page arrived, Ivisyre was present, keeping an eye on arrivals for Sequence while she was occupied with the party. This included a confrontation with the Render, an arcane beast made from earth and other matter it collected, which was hell-bent on hunting the mage known as Kion. As the Render arrived at the party and proceeded to immediately try to break the rule of peace, Sequence imprisoned it within an orb of solid Narrative god-metal. Ivisyre then was tasked with trying to talk to the Render and calm it down. This proved fruitless, and Ivisyre left it imprisoned to focus on other things.

Later in the party, one of the guests, a woman named Beosta, noticed caustic black material around the party, and quickly alerted Sequence, blaming the substance on Cardinal, who had been nearby. Sequence summoned Cardinal, Fuzzy, and Ivisyre for questioning, upon which Cardinal confessed that Ivisyre had forced them into spreading the toxic material. Sequence promptly ended the party and removed her guests for their safety, upon which Ivisyre proceeded to shroud Sequence's world in darkness and sickness. Cardinal quickly succumbed to sickness within the first few pages, while Sequence and Fuzzy were greatly weakened as they attempted to reason with Ivisyre. Ivisyre continually ignored them, watching from the shadows and continuing to corrupt Sequence's world. Eventually, they confronted Sequence. It was then that Fuzzy too perished, much to the distress of Sequence, and she and Ivisyre proceeded to fight. Sequence was greatly injured and her Narrationblade was shattered, but with the help of Willow, she managed to prevail, gravely wounding Ivisyre. Unable to bring herself to kill them, Ivisyre was banished from Sequence's World, and warned to never return to the main fibers of the Thread.

Ivisyre did not listen. Around the same time as Sequence's party on page 4,229, Ivisyre contacted Ryver and commissioned him for a replacement for the Cuberian Cell. Ivisyre revealed their plan to kill Sequence once and for all, which Ryver pretended to go along with, while secretly placing a weakness inside the new Cell. Ivisyre spotted it quickly, though decided to allow Ryver to live and warn Sequence of their plan. While Sequence and her allies prepared to spring a trap on Ivisyre, Ivisyre had a conversation with the Narrator Subversion. Subversion inquired about Ivisyre's motives, promising to grant Ivisyre access to Sequence's World if they shared. After a brief conversation, Subversion opened a portal for Ivisyre. Ivisyre ambushed Sequence and Aelinor while the two were unprepared, and after quickly subduing Aelinor, Ivisyre offered to spare her life in exchange for Sequence's Narration. Sequence agreed, and Ivisyre ascended to Narratorhood, claiming Sequence's World and forcing the former Narrator to flee.

Later, well after Sequence had died of her injuries, Ivisyre was contacted by Rebus. Rebus requested ownership of Sequence's former world, and Ivisyre agreed under the condition that Rebus never allowed Aelinor or Ookla the Unintelligible to step foot on its soil.
