Ok guys, someone is gonna die in Stormlight five and i gotta figure out who. My first guess was that Kaladin was gonna die in a dramatic explosion after swearing the fifth ideal, but then i read something about how Kaladin's arc is all about realizing that he deserves to live and be happy, and you just can't kill someone like that, which made sense to me. But if not Kaladin, who? I just can't imagine that it would make any sense for Shallan to go, and probably not Adolin either. If Dalinar died, that that would probably mean that Odium won, i just can't imagine that Odium winning the duel could work for SA. (Or maybe i'm being presumptuous. Lol.) But whooooo is gonna die? Renarin? Jasnah? Navani? Someone major is gonna die and i just gotta figure it out. Any theories are appreciated lol
Also, should i put this in Stormlight Archive discussion?

Here's a super nice and interesting Sanderson article. It actually mentions the wired article, as the author had time to call Sanderson and ask some of his feelings about it before publishing this one. I thought this one was really fascinating. Also it just went ahead and told us the tentative Stromlight five title!! Knights of Wind and Truth! I though it was gonna be Ketek of Wind, so i wasn't that far lol.

...ok to make this su actually USEFUL, my dad said he would take me to the W&W 4 release party. Like, i was sitting there reading Arcanum Unbounded and scheming on how to get to the con, and my dad comes over and is like "watcha reading?" And i show him the cover and he, completely unprompted, said, "hey, do you wanna meet him [Brandon Sanderson]?" And i just sit there, completely surprised. And then i told him about the con and he was literally like, "great! Lets buy tickets!" Which, if you know my dad (you obviously don't lol), is the most unlike him thing. And we haven't bought tickets yet (cause, ya know, you can't buy tickets yet) but BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I AM SO HECCIN EXCITED

:D. Yay! I'll do it soon, probably tomorrow or monday or so, i just wanna get a couple of them down a little more coherently then "dark planet, dust=light and worms (snakes?) dont like light they are big and lighting is also light" which is what i found scrawled in my journal one morning lol
(I've expanded slight on the "dark planet" one, but not to much so i might not post that one yet. It is cool though.)

ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
i feel so lucky to live in the era where these films are being created
Here's one of my big theories (massive spoilers jsyk)
Spoilerok i think that Miguel is actually the prowler of his world. think ab it: 1. he doesn't actually have spider powers, he has to inject stuff into himself to be spidery. 2. he isn't spidery at all, his actual powers are, like, claws and teeth and stuff. prowler vibes? 3. he has a similar theme to uncle aron's. less "AHH RUN" and more "i am going to get you and there's nothing you can do about it." but similar nontheless. 4. he is similarly wrapped up in good and bad, like the other prowlers we know. uncle aron is a villain, but he's not evil. he wouldn't hurt miles, and he really loved him and helped him be himself. 42 Miles prowler- he is a villain, but he's miles. we know what a good person he is, despite whatever circumstances drove him to villainy. Miguel is a bit the inverse but still similar (and the inverse-ness fits with his faked spider powers). he thinks he is trying to keep the spider-verse world from falling apart, which is good, but he's also violent and angry and maybe not so good after all?
anyway that's just my little theory that i think would be fun if it was true :)))

here's my one other little theory thing (not really a theory, idk what to call it):
Spoilerok so you know how the void thing was caused in Mumbattan because miles saved the police captain and the little girl? and how he disrupted a canon event in a different universe and that's why it started disintegrating? what if he finds out a way to save his dad in his own universe by himself? if he found a way to save his dad somehow without any help, then his universe wouldn't unravel, right? because there wouldn't have been interference form other universes. (except, y'know. miles. but idk whatever)
because like Mile's thing is "anyone can wear the mask, anyone can be a hero, i make my own story" etc. while miguel is methodical and cold calculation and holding everything together and making sure canon events happen.
idk it's not really a theory just maybe a path the plot might take? but i'm probably wrong ab this one and also it doesn't make a ton of sense so whatever
oh also
Spoilerim gonna write an essay ab uncle aaron and the prowler miles 42 and stuff because in the first movie there are a lot of clear signs that if miles had not been bitten, and hadn't become a spidy-man, he would have followed in uncle aarons footsteps and become a prowler or a villain. i always kind of discounted that aspect of the movie because i didn't see how it was relevant to the plot anymore but HOLY FRICK DUDE!!!!!!!!! as you may have noticed that is now an extremely relevant part of the plot and i happen to have a lot of free time cause y'know summer and i've never written a theme analysis essay about something that i was actually interested in so ye here we go

I'm so proud of you for posting your writing!! Alright, two things.
1. I finished TLM and oh boy do i have opinions. I'm too sick right now to gather all my thoughts about it though, so I'll do a review later. Oh and i started Bastille vs. The Evil Librarians an hour ago and i'm halfway through, so i'll do my opinions on that as well.
2. My grandma gave me 140 dollars to spend on books for my last birthday, and i'd forgotten about it till now. I need recommendations! I have a list of books that i've already read that i want copies of (Circe, the middle dreamer trilogy book cause for some reason it's the only one i haven't acquired a copy of, the Artemis Fowl series, and a couple others) but i want to try some new books, so recs are appreciated. I like fantasy (duh), maybe on the lighter side, and i've read some really good speculative fiction recently and would love to find some more. And really just anything you guys enjoy!
(Yeah, I was inspired by Elf''s SU cause i forgot about the money my grandma gave me till now lol)

I also don't have the middle dreamer trilogy book for some reason! Odd. The Inheritance Games series is so good. Mystery, with great characters. The Scythe series and the Unwind series by Neal Schusterman are both really great dystopians and some of my favorites. Ender's Game and the Ender's Shadow series are good. (I haven't actually recommended any fantasy yet lol) Renegades is really fun.
